“Emma was incredible! She was so thorough and attentive to my sweet old cat Konstantine, I was able to relax and enjoy my time out of town. I’ll definitely be calling on Emma in the future and recommend her to anyone who needs someone kind and gentle to trust with their pet!”
“Matthew did a great job caring for our 3 dogs! We got on-time, detailed reports and lots of pictures. Would definitely recommend!! So happy to find a reliable sitter.”

About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. Whether you have a Great Dane or a Pomeranian, I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. Take a look at my calendar and see what works for you! I work my day job Thursday through Sunday and am currently available for house sitting Sunday night through Thursday morning and drop-in visits M, T, W. I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. I have two orthopedic beds that are cleaned thoroughly after each stay and two dog bowls.
“Hannah has consistently been amazing for our dogs! She is very detailed and provides continual updates so I know they are being well cared for. I would highly recommend her to anyone considering a dog sitter!”
“Sadie has been amazing. She’s super responsive and sends the best pictures! I’m super picky and skeptical of people taking care of my pets but Sadie has exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!”

“This is my first time using Rover and Sophia is a great caretaker of my fur babies. She is very communicative and responsive and takes great care of my cats. In the pictures she send back to me, I can tell my cats love her as well. Would absolutely book with her again in the future!!❤️”

“Olivia is the best. I had to go back to work while my pup was still recovering from getting fixed. Her nursing background made her the perfect choice. She is always on time and is meticulous about following care instructions. Highly recommend!”

“Isabel is a great communicator and has been super helpful with taking care of our Teddy the last several weeks. She is consistent and timely in her daily drop-in’s to let Teddy out to potty and play. She has been flexible when my schedule requires it, and has given me ample notice if something changes in her schedule. I highly recommend Isabel, and am so glad we have a recurring visits with her and Teddy!”

“Taylor was amazing!! So communicative and kept my dogs happy while I was gone :). I always worry about them when I leave but I finally felt really comfortable while I was away because of Taylor and how she sent pictures daily and always gave a thorough update! Will definitely be using Taylor again!”

“Ally was fantastic! She took such special care of our Prince. She sent messages and pictures each day which was the best! When I needed her to do anything additional (grab the mail or turn some lights on) she was right on top of it! I will most definitely have Ally watch my kitty again!”

“This was the first time for Ashley to do drop-ins for our two small pups. She was very punctual, always communicated, and sent photos of the little hoodlums! It was obvious from the photos that they were happy. Certainly will contact her again for future needs.”

About: I have eight years of pet care experience ranging from dogs and cats to small rodents and reptiles. Not only have I been pet sitting since 2018, I’ve also been a frequent volunteer at my local animal shelter. I am the perfect sitter for your furry friend because I balance respect for a safety and appropriate guidance with a big heart and passion to make pets happy. I am familiar and comfortable with cleaning, vet visits, walking and providing medication as necessary. Additionally, I love to play, cuddle, and tend to the curiosity of my dogs, and I intend to do all the same for yours! My schedule is open during both weekdays and weekends, so I am both able to watch your pets when it’s convenient to you, and able to receive bookings and cancellations same-day. I have two big pups of my own at home, but as I live at home with my family, they will not need to travel with me to other places to care for your pets. That’s being said, I take great care of my dogs!
“I instantly knew I made the right choice choosing Corrie to watch over my pride and joy. She was very attentive and made sure to update me with the best photos. Not only that she made it possible for me to actually enjoy my vacation. I would highly recommend and going to definitely give Corrie a call if I need someone in the future!”

“I had an unexpected last minute trip and thought I had my pup taken care of, unfortunately I was 500+ miles away when I found out he wasn’t being cared for - thank goodness for Karissa! I reached out in a panic about needing someone to take care of my dog for the remaining 2 days I would be out of town and she immediately agreed to help! She was super on it, there during the time frames I requested, sent lots of photos and made sure my pup got the love and care he deserved! Will 100% book again with her for any future trips! She’s an absolute life saver!!”

“Camilo did a great job with our cats 🫶🏻. Camilo knew how to get both of them to warm up to a stranger. Our cats were well taken care of while my boyfriend and I were away. Thank you again, Camilo. We'll be sure to book with you again.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Oak Hill
Angela is reliable and diligent, and the cats clearly felt comfortable with her. She sent pictures of them sitting in her lap and asking for treats. She also kept me informed, and asked questions whenever they came up. I would happily have her cat sit again in the future.

Booked Avery for daily visits to take care of my cat again. My cat adores Avery! Avery also takes the cuuuuutest pictures and is super communicative! She also is thoughtful and observant about changes in the apartment and will keep you updated! Highly recommend, she is an amazing petsitter!

They were soooo incredibly helpful taking care of our dogs! Emily was flexible when the circumstances changed and I had no doubt that our cats were well take care of. I loved how many pics they sent as well!! I would absolutely trust Emily to take care of my zoo again!

Amanda was great with my cat RC! Amanda came on time, fed RC each visit, scooped the litter box and spent lots of time sitting with RC for cuddles. Not every Rover sitter will sit and give attention to a cat, so it was so wonderful that Amanda spent time engaging RC and sent many pictures!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
