“Matthew did a great job caring for our 3 dogs! We got on-time, detailed reports and lots of pictures. Would definitely recommend!! So happy to find a reliable sitter.”

“I have been stressing about finding a cat sitter that could meet Ginger’s medical needs. Gingers very easygoing considering my other two shy & spicy babies, Clover & Koko respectively. But a lot of people & special needs cat boarding facilities were aphrenrsive about giving a cat 0.25 mL of medicine once a day for 2 different medications. Thanks again Sophia for taking care of my girls!”

“Really sweet, my dog isn't really the type to let a stranger take her away from me but she went slow and let mika control his fast things went. I'm in hospital and can't walk and the charge nurse had told me the nurses couldn't feed and water her and I couldn't get out of bed so the fact that she was here to help in like an hour really meant alot For sure book her, especially if the baby has a little attitude when it comes to if she will go off with a stranger lol”

“Excellent service! I was nervous to leave my 14yr old dog, Belle, alone for a week because she never had a sitter outside of family members, but she loved Isabel and Isabel was great with her! I couldn’t be happier with the level of care she provided to Belle. I highly recommend her and hope to have her watch Belle again in the future!”

“Book Emma ASAP!!! She was amazing with my shy kitty, and I could tell that she was loving her visits with Emma from all the “please rub my belly” poses in the pics that Emma sent. Great communicator, took care of all things food/water/litter, and made sure I had a happy kitty! Will absolutely be booking Emma again in the future 🩷🩷”

About: I love any and all dogs. I would love to play, walk, feed, and love on your dog when you can’t. I have grown up with dogs my entire life.. I lost my 16 year old golden and need to be around some pets! I can be very flexible with times and will work with your schedule as needed. I will communicate with you as much or as little as you would like, to take the ease of being away from your loved one more comfortable. I work full time Monday-Thursday 8-5. I can come home at lunch time for a quick potty and walk break. Weekends I’m flexible and can work around your schedule. I will follow any feeding/water schedule that you have in place. Your pet will be well taken care of! Any instructions you have, I will follow.
About: I grew up with a family dog who was a shih tzu and poodle mix. Now, I largely work with dogs who might need a little extra attention, but I’m open to working with other furry friends! Does your pet need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I've dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! Senior dogs struggling with incontinence? I'm here to help. Currently, I offer house sitting (taking out trash, plant care, etc), drop ins, pet sitting (2-3 walks, medicine if applicable, feeding, play time), pet walks, and feeding. I can sometimes accommodate last minute bookings and am available most holidays and weekends. I offer pet sitting in my client's home to keep pets in the environment where they feel safest. I will collaborate with you to see what works best for your pet and their home. I love pets and will often spend a little extra time with them if you're worried about them being left alone. I know each dog and cat is different, so I'm more than happy to adjust to make sure they feel safe and comfortable!
About: I’m a long term pet owner, of two medium-large dogs and I’m looking to save up some extra cash before moving for graduate school. I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size and age. While not a certified trainer, I have trained my family’s dogs to walk better on the leash. I have a strong preference for dogs, but I’m happy to take care of cats as well. I just finished undergrad, and am working over the summer before moving overseas. At the moment, Rover is my only job, so your pet will be my priority. I can’t bring your dog to my home, but while taking care of your pet at your home, I will my best to ensure your pet’s routine is kept as similar as possible while you’re away.

“This is our first booking with Rover and Jessica did a fantastic job! We look forward to booking through her again as needed! We loved the daily updates And pictures.”

“Kait was amazing with my cat. She gave him treats and played with him and gave me such great updates and photos of her visits. She’s very easy to communicate with and I would absolutely book her on future trips!”

About: As someone who’s always had animals, I know it can be hard to leave them and your house with someone new. I’m ready to make the transition as smooth as possible for both you and your furry companion! I’m a full time cosmetology student so I’m free after 3:30 Tuesday through Saturday to commit time to your animals and house whenever you need! And of course I’m flexible to come check in on them throughout the day, just let me know. As I have a kitty of my own, I want to respect your’s and your animals’ space. I’ll make sure they’re fed and their areas clean. That they get attention and play time as needed. And in case of emergency or abnormal behavior, that they are cared for or taken to the vet if warranted. I will take care of them with the love and attention I give my own pet.
“Olivia is the best. I had to go back to work while my pup was still recovering from getting fixed. Her nursing background made her the perfect choice. She is always on time and is meticulous about following care instructions. Highly recommend!”

“Piper is one of the best in the dog walking business. She took so much time with Buster, even putting his little hoodie on him so he wouldn’t get cold. Highly recommended!!”

“Sydney did drop in visits for our cat for 2 weeks while we were out of town. She communicated extremely well and ultimately we had no concerns for the well being of our cat while on vacation. We were extremely pleased with her care and will definitely try to book her for any future trips!”

“Great sitter that was able to come over for late notice visit! Did great with dog, great notes, ensured well stimulated, great communication, and dog had a great time. Will book again and would recommend.”

Booked Avery for daily visits to take care of my cat again. My cat adores Avery! Avery also takes the cuuuuutest pictures and is super communicative! She also is thoughtful and observant about changes in the apartment and will keep you updated! Highly recommend, she is an amazing petsitter!

They were soooo incredibly helpful taking care of our dogs! Emily was flexible when the circumstances changed and I had no doubt that our cats were well take care of. I loved how many pics they sent as well!! I would absolutely trust Emily to take care of my zoo again!

Amanda was great with my cat RC! Amanda came on time, fed RC each visit, scooped the litter box and spent lots of time sitting with RC for cuddles. Not every Rover sitter will sit and give attention to a cat, so it was so wonderful that Amanda spent time engaging RC and sent many pictures!

Gabrielle is awesome!!! TLDR: amazing with shy animals, thorough and thoughtful communicator. 10/10 Gabrielle went above and beyond, and was an instant favorite for our super shy cat. We didn’t expect our cat to come out of hiding at all, and Gabrielle had her out and about looking confident and cared for just a couple days in. We left fairly complicated instructions/tips for dealing with our cats, and it’s very clear that she thoughtfully read and absorbed all of them. Her communication was stellar, and I would absolutely book with Gabrielle again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
