About: I grew up with a family dog who was a shih tzu and poodle mix. Now, I largely work with dogs who might need a little extra attention, but I’m open to working with other furry friends! Does your pet need medicine 3 times a day? I do that. Does your dog have leash aggression or very specific likes and dislikes? I've dealt with that too. Separation anxiety? Check! About: I’m a long term pet owner, of two medium-large dogs and I’m looking to save up some extra cash before moving for graduate school. I’m comfortable handling dogs of any size and age. While not a certified trainer, I have trained my family’s dogs to walk better on the leash. I have a strong preference for dogs, but I’m happy to take care of cats as well. I just finished undergrad, and am working over the summer before moving overseas. At the moment, Rover is my only job, so your pet will be my priority. About: Hi! I am a big animal lover who works from home which allows for flexibility in my week. I have had dogs since I was 3 years old ranging in size from 7lbs to 100lbs. I also help with family and friends' cats from time to time. When you book with me, you can expect your pet to be well loved, well taken care of, and your house locks to be double and triple checked :). I am very cautious around cars, people, and other dogs when walking my own dog, and you can expect the same care and attentiveness with your baby. I work from home which allows for some flexibility in my day. My schedule is not always the same each day, but with enough notice, I can work out non-normal hours when needed. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and my pit bull, Tyson, recently crossed the rainbow bridge after 14 amazing years by my side. Loving and caring for him taught me just how much our dogs become family and how important it is to trust the person caring for them. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a baby kitten, older kitten who is almost an adult, and a senior kitty that live with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog that lives with me a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. I commute to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm and work another job remotely. Rover is my main obligation outside of school and I prioritize my rover bookings over most things. Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next few months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits between 5am-10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. In today’s world, 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand completely and have never not booked with a client due to disclosed video surveillance. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and taken care of them through every age, from puppy to senior. I am experienced with senior dogs and understand their special needs and more than happy to help how I can. I work from home, so I’m always with your dog when I have them over. For outside time, we have a small balcony with 3.5ft tall safety railings that will allow your pet to get fresh air at any time. Ensuring I leave everything exactly as I found it, I’ll maximize time with your pet while also keeping the area tidy! I currently volunteer to take shelter dogs out for the day to walk and socialize! My experience includes bathing, feeding, cleaning up, and walking dogs who are leash aggressive to the sniffer that stops every minute! I am able to administer oral medication and am very attentive to your dogs needs. I am here to love on your pup and support them in any way! I have a fenced yard with 2 furry friends for them to play with. We can run around and play with balls and toys and I am very generous with the treats so they will feel loads of love. About: Hi, my name is Sophia! I’m a proud owner of a 11 year old Jack Russel/Staffy mix named Liam! He’s typically shy with other dogs at first but opens up after a good few sniffs. I also have two cats named Emilio and Antonio. They want to be friends with Liam so badly but he hilariously ignores their affections. I have enjoyed working with animals most of my life and I’m experienced with dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, and snakes. Having worked at a veterinary clinic all through high school, I then volunteered at the local animal shelter throughout college. I have been taking care of my dogs ( back home in Kentucky) since I was in first grade and trained my puppy and raised him. About: I’ve had family dogs growing up and 2 dogs in college, all bullies! I have a soft spot for bullies and experience with them, but love ALL dogs! I’ve also volunteered at the dog shelter and fostered dogs through Nashville’s Wags and Walks program in the past 🩵 I just recently got laid off from my corporate job, so I have a super flexible schedule right now.
