About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 14 through friends, family, and neighbors. I have been expected to feed, bathe, walk, and clean litter boxes. I have had a love for animals since I was a young child and always make sure they have the love and care they need. I have an older boy named Taz who I love dearly. I currently work full time Mon.-Fri. until around 5 o clock. I am available in the evenings during the week, and any time on the weekends. I worry about my baby when I am away so I completely understand the expectation of your animal being taken care of however is best for him/her. It’s important to me to give each animal the attention they need and also respect your wishes as well as theirs.
“Jennifer went above and beyond for my puppy. Her detailed reports gave me peace of mind while I had to be away. She loved on my boy as if he were her own. I'm so grateful for the outstanding care she gave him.”

“Christy goes above and beyond! Our dog loves her and from one worried mama, I’ve never felt more that our boy was in the best hands. With consistent updates and photos we felt so at ease! We have an older boy too who needs special attention and medication, he was in the best hands. Could not recommend her enough. 🩷”

“India was amazing! She was available last minute to take care of my boy Sawyer. She took her time walking him and even played with him at our complex dog park. She sent a ton of pics and he was a happy boy when I got home. We will definitely ask her for help again!”

About: I have my own dog and have taught her how to sit, stay, and give paw. I have taken care of other people’s dogs for a few days! I also have had a elderly dog with diabetes and took god care of him! I also have pet sit for family friends dogs! I’m available all the time. Anytime except early mornings because I am volunteering then. I can stay nights or just spend time with your animals! I will spend time getting to know your pets and how they behave and I will play with and feed your animals when needed! Take them on walks or just stay and watch tv with them!

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing! This was our first time leaving our kitties at home with a sitter and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. We were a little nervous as one of our cats runs out of the house anytime an opportunity presents itself - Jennifer was extremely understanding of this and took the extra steps to make sure our little escape artist would not get out. She really took the time to make sure they had everything they needed and plenty of treats, love and attention. She is extremely communicative - she sent lots of cute photos and detailed updates every visit which we really enjoyed looking through. I am a Rover sitter myself and Jennifer exceeded my expectations in every way possible. We will 100% be using her again for future trips and highly recommend her.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
