Abigail is an amazing person and an extra awesome pet sitter. My dog can be a little anxious and Abigail handled it perfectly. Beau (the dog) had an amazing time. He got good walks, care, and I got regular updates and photos. Abigail even checked in afterwards with updates on his well-being and some things he did that might be important to keep an eye on. 10/10 good pet sitter, responsive, and a great pet lover who genuinely cares about making sure your pet is safe, well cared for, and has a good time. Separation anxiety can be hard for pets but Abigail took it into account for Beau and he got support and comfort and was able to settle in without getting to stressed or searching for me too much. When I got back Beau was excited to see me but still happy to hang out with Abigail. I will definitely request them again in the future.

Abigail is an incredible pet caregiver. She grew up with dogs and cats and rode horses. She's fostered several dogs in Nashville including a dog and her newborn puppy. She was more than up for the challenge and both the mom and baby thrived while staying with her. I would strongly recommend her!

Schedule

I am currently a grad student, so although I have class during the school year, I have a very flexible schedule that can meet your pet’s needs. I also tend to have a very flexible schedule when on summer break and other school holidays. Being a student also means always needing a study buddy (preferably the four-legged kind!)

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I currently live in a small studio apartment, so can only accommodate smaller animals in my space. As far as in others’ homes, I strive to create a calm environment and stick to the pet’s usual routine as much as possible!

A typical day

I enjoy lots of cuddle time and indoor play time as much as I love a good walk and exploration time! I really enjoy getting to know a pet's personality through these activities and prioritizing what the pet likes best!

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Takes only 1 client at a time
Abigail can host up to 1 pet per night
I have a preference for smaller breeds (under 50 lbs) to ensure that I will safely be able to walk the dog and stay in control in the case of unexpected excitement or energy. I do have experience administering medication to dogs and cats, and am happy to do that for your pets!
