“Hayley was amazing, she saved my night with my family when I needed care super last minute. XO came home happy and tired which is always a great thing. If I bring XO to Nashville again I'll definitely reach out to Hayley.”

“Loved all the photos. Cyndie was super responsive. My pup had a great time. It was my first time using Rover and was a little nervous but Cyndie and her family were terrific. I would definitely rebook with her.”

About: A Loving Home Away From Home for Your Dog! I’m a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of many breeds. I’ve owned more than 10 dogs throughout my life, so I understand how much our furry family members mean to us! I work from home, which means your pup gets plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Our 5-member family are all dog lovers, so your dog will have lots of love, playtime, and cuddles. Our home has a fully fenced-in 0.25 acre backyard where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and exercise. We also have a dog doorbell, so pups can let us know when they want to go outside or come back in. When your dog stays with us, they aren't just being watched—they're becoming part of our family! Since I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, so pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. I can easily let them outside for potty breaks, with our doggy doorbell. I care for pets in my home, where they can enjoy a fully fenced-in backyard for safe play and outdoor time. I also have a friendly dog who loves having new furry friends to keep her company! I work from home, so pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, and love throughout the day.
“Michelle is truly amazing, I 100% will go again. She is very good with dogs and sends pictures throughout the day, also does her best to feed them. Very very helpful”
“Both dogs came home tired and content after a full day of play! Brook was amazing and very responsive, quick to solidify our booking and sending photos and videos throughout the day of our dogs. Jules can be a wildcard because of her anxious GSD energy, but even she relaxed and appeared to have a good time.”

“Megan is the absolute BEST!! This was my first time dropping out English mastiff puppy off for daycare of any sorts and she made sure to keep me informed and updated throughout her whole stay! Harley absolutely loved her time with Megan and her pup Polly! We absolutely will continue to use her for future daycare needs. THANK YOU MEGAN!💗🐶”

“What a relief to have such a great first experience on Rover. I was nervous leaving my baby with new people. But from the moment we arrived at Brandon’s house for the meet and greet, our little Charlie was a happy boy. Brandon did a great job keeping us updated throughout the night with pictures and text messages. We could tell that Charlie was being showered with love. We could tell that he had a lot of fun and got a lot of exercise because he fell asleep immediately when left at the end of the night. I will definitely use Brandon again. Could not have asked for better care!”

“Carol and Marc were the absolute best! Our girl came home every day energized and happy. She absolutely loved them. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for doggy day care in a caring home”

About: I’ve grown up with animals always in or around the house and treated like they are one of the family. Your pup would be no exception. I work from home, Monday-Friday along side the reigning employee of the month Butter bean, my 3 year old terrier mix. Who gets along with any pup. I have a fenced in yard, doggy door and baby gate on the front porch. I’m experienced with crate trained pups but if you’re alright with it they could have free range in the house. I’m also experienced with pups needing meds or special care.

About: Hi, I'm Kelly! If you're anything like me, your dogs aren't just pets—they're family. I know how hard it can be to leave them behind, whether you're heading to work for the day or taking a much-needed vacation. The worry about whether they're comfortable, happy, and being cared for the way you would care for them yourself is something I completely understand. Dogs & cats have been a part of my life - forever, and caring for them has always been one of my greatest joys. While Rottweilers hold a special place in my heart, I have raised and trained them for more than 25 years - I've also had the privilege of loving and raising Dachshunds, West Highland White Terriers, and German Shepherds. I truly believe that dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and secure. Just like people, they find comfort in familiar routines and consistency. When I'm caring for your pet, I do my best to keep their days feeling as normal and comfortable as possible, so they can relax while you're away. I’m currently a stay at home Mom. My husband and I have two children (4 years & 5 years old) and two beloved Rottweilers, Beau and Abby. Beau is our big, goofy 120-pound boy with a confident but gentle nature, and Abby is our calm and steady six-year-old girl who seems to have an old soul. We recently lost our senior dachshund Marvin. Years ago, I spent time involved in competitive obedience training and earned therapy certifications with my big dogs. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for canine behavior, communication, and the importance of building trust and understanding with our dogs. More than anything, they taught me that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and respect. I am a Christian, and my faith influences how I care for others—both people and their pets. When you're trusting me with your dog and your home, I understand what a responsibility that is. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for with genuine love, attention, and compassion. Our property is designed to give your pup a fun, safe, and relaxing vacation while you're away. We have a fully fenced backyard on just under an acre, providing plenty of room to run, play, explore, and soak up the sunshine. For dogs who love the water, we have an in-ground swimming pool, and they're welcome to swim under supervision. We even provide doggie life jackets so they can enjoy the pool safely. Your dog's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. All meals are served separately to ensure a calm, stress-free dining experience, and I use brief crate rotations when needed to give each guest quiet time or individualized attention. At bedtime, non-destructive pups are welcome to curl up on a cozy queen-size bed in our guest suite. For dogs who find comfort in background noise, I can leave the TV on to help them relax and feel at home. Each day is filled with personalized attention, games of fetch, outdoor play, cuddles, and plenty of enrichment. On warm days, our guests even enjoy dog-friendly ice cream as a special treat! My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back for their next vacation. Here, your pup isn't just being watched—they're treated like family and spoiled with love every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My life is dedicated to raising my children, and pet sitting allows me to earn a little extra income while doing something I truly love. I strongly believe in routine and structure. As a former teacher, I enjoy keeping things organized and providing a consistent, comfortable environment for everyone in my care. Before caring for your pet, I'll ask plenty of questions about their daily routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they're with us. We have a spacious home with a split floor plan, which allows us to easily accommodate different dogs. If your pet is staying overnight, we can separate dogs when needed, rotate playtime, or allow them to socialize together, depending on their personalities and comfort levels. My dogs do well with other dogs of various sizes, and I always prioritize safe, supervised interactions. We have a fenced yard with a pool. My goal is to provide each pet with the right balance of rest, play, exercise, and socialization so they feel at home while you're away.

About: I will love your pets as if they were my own! I’d love to help you feed, walk, bathe, and play with your pets whenever needed. Lover of both dogs and cats (I currently have both myself). Will provide all the love and cuddles to keep your little friend happy until you come home, and you stress-free from worrying about your kiddos. I am a freelancer and work from home so my schedule is very flexible! Happy to help with any early morning or later evening requests too. I live on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of walkable area around. Comfortable with crating dogs if needed. Whatever rules you keep for furniture or sleeping arrangements, I am happy to oblige by to keep your furry friend feeling as at home as possible while you’re away! For drop-ins at your home/apartment, if there is a dog park in the vicinity, I’d be happy to play with them there! For cats, I can feed, play, and change/scoop their litter if it applies.
“Troy was great with Pixel. He accommodated my work schedule and helped with Pixel’s anxiety being in a new place. Troy made sure to send me pictures throughout the day and kept me updated on how things were going. Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Mariah quickly eased my anxiety of leaving Duke with someone I didn’t know. We received a picture mid visit. Mariah is very personable and communicates well. I would highly recommend using her. We certainly will use her again when we are back in the area. Thank you Mariah for taking care of our boy.”

“Jessica responded right away on such short notice and sent the cutest pictures of Juniper. She even accommodated a later pick up due to traffic. So glad Juniper was taken care of and loved in Jessica’s care! 🤗”

“We love Ashlee and Nash! Nash is so patient with our energetic puppy and I love seeing videos of them playing throughout the day. I feel comfortable knowing that our puppy is in good hands during the day!”

About: New to Rover but very seasoned animal professional and pet sitter. With nearly 30 years of professional hands-on experience from busy veterinary clinics to service as a nonprofit veterinary clinic board member to high volume animal rescue, I'm one of the most seasoned and knowledgeable animal caregivers you'll find on Rover. I've worked with dogs of every age, size, and temperament - from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler touch. Providing reliable, high‑quality care is a priority for me, and I’m committed to giving your pet the same level of dedication I give my own pets. Ensuring safety and trust is at the center of how I care for pets. My home has a large, fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for supervised outdoor time. I share my home with three crate‑trained dogs and two friendly, laid‑back cats who enjoy greeting newcomers. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and very experienced in reading behavior, which allows me to adjust interactions and routines to keep everyone feeling safe and relaxed. I take pride in caring for your pet with the same attention, patience, and respect you give them at home. **It’s also important to note that I’m trained and educated in maintaining clinical‑level cleanliness to prevent cross‑contamination. Haley was so sweet! If only she lived closer, I’d have her take care of Hershey and Milo for the rest of the week. She did such an amazing job with them. They looked so happy and content when we came by to pick them up. I also really appreciated the photo updates she sent while they were with her. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were doing well. I would definitely use her again if I had extra time on my hands to make the drive out to her. Thank you so much, Haley — you rock!

First, I want to say I greatly appreciate the time Madison took to meet with us and make sure we were comfortable. Next, I like that she makes certain the dogs she keeps are current on all shots/meds. Finally, we were provided photos and videos of Rue with her new friends during her time at daycare and it was awesome! My dog is currently in the backseat totally thrilled and tired. We couldn’t be happier!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
