“Sally is the epitome of what one could hope for when seeking doggie day care. I was traveling through Nashville and needed my pup cared for. She not only accommodated my last minute booking, she ensured he was comfy, exercised and loved. He’s a senior dog and pretty attached to me but he was putty in her hands. I highly recommend Sally and will certainly see her again when I come through Nashville!”

“Allison was very good with our dog Bourbon she sent pictures of him and even took him in her car to pick up child he seemed to enjoy his time and was complete worn out when we picked him up.”

“I really love the whole Rover thing! Hayley was wonderful! She took pictures and let me know how my puppy was doing. She went above and beyond with everything I ask of her. I am super grateful for her care and love for animals! I will definitely use her again!”

“Valerie was amazing. I could not have asked for a better pet sitter. She absolutely loves and understands dogs. Had water ready for them. Took them outside to go potty as we had just got in from Gatlinburg. She kept me up to date. Will definitely use her again if we are ever in Nashville again.”
“So thankful for Michelle! Needed help last minute and she took my dog in for daycare, and my dog had a wonderful time. Michelle had a very nice set up for watching the fur babies: in house space, fenced backyard and a doggie door. She is home and can be there for them which is fabulous! My baby will be coming back to Michelle!”

“Both dogs came home tired and content after a full day of play! Brook was amazing and very responsive, quick to solidify our booking and sending photos and videos throughout the day of our dogs. Jules can be a wildcard because of her anxious GSD energy, but even she relaxed and appeared to have a good time.”

“We're very pleased with Konnor's doggy daycare service. She was very accommodating of our last-minute, 1-day notice. Finn had plenty of fur friends to play with. He returned to us looking as happy as a clam! We will definitely book with her again the next time we stay in the Nashville area.”

About: Hi, I’m Jazzy! I grew up on a ranch and have spent my entire life caring for animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and livestock. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and routines. As a long-time business owner, I know how important trust, communication, and reliability are when someone is caring for a beloved family member. My goal is to provide a safe, calm, and loving experience while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. I have experience caring for senior pets, administering medications, following specialized feeding schedules, and supporting pets who may need a little extra patience, reassurance, or attention. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a consistent companion nearby, I strive to make them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for in their own environment. Before each booking, I’d love to know about any medications, dietary restrictions, health concerns, routines, training cues, fears, or special preferences that help your pet feel safe and happy. Every animal is different, and I believe the best care comes from understanding what makes them unique. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I maintain a flexible schedule, work from home therefore I am able to accommodate many pet care needs. I work around your pets routine, personality, and comfort level! Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I offer reliable care, a calm environment, and thoughtful attention tailored to your pet’s individual needs.
About: Hey there! I'm Lily, dog-momma to Teddy, a 2-year-old goldendoodle. I work fully remotely, so your dog will have lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I’m also active, so walks and playtime are always on the agenda. I’d love to welcome your pup into my home for boarding or doggy daycare. We have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for running, playing, and getting those zoomies out. I also have the sweetest 2-year-old Goldendoodle who absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playmate around during their stay. I know how hard it can be to find someone you fully trust with your furry friend. My goal is to make you feel completely at ease, knowing your pup is safe, loved, well cared for, and having a great time while you’re away. I am currently working remote full time so I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I’ve found this makes it easy to meet all walking schedules with no stress. My safety rules: - I believe in keeping a leash on when walking - Even if your dog is kind, others might not be, so if we go to a park or go on a walk, I will always be on guard to protect your dog if the other instigates a fight - I will feed your dog by your instructions - I will only give your dog treats that you authorize, no human food - I will consistently make sure there is water for your dog

About: Hi! I’m Jake, a lifelong dog lover with professional daycare experience. I grew up with dogs and spent time working at a busy dog daycare and boarding facility in Denver, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That experience taught me how to read dog behavior, keep play safe, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet with someone else, so I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away, whether that’s during a walk, a drop-in visit, or longer care. My schedule is very flexible, and communication is important to me. I always keep my phone nearby and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I make sure to follow what works best for them so they feel right at home. I’d love to meet you and your pup! 🐾 I’m a musician who recently moved to town, so my schedule is very flexible right now. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and attentive care. I structure my days so the pets I’m watching always get consistent attention, exercise, and communication with their owners. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision, while keeping their environment safe and calm. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I always communicate with owners so they feel confident their pet is living their best life and having a great time!
“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
