“Jessica responded right away on such short notice and sent the cutest pictures of Juniper. She even accommodated a later pick up due to traffic. So glad Juniper was taken care of and loved in Jessica’s care! 🤗”

“Kali had 3 great day at Doggy Day Care with Hayley. We were visiting the area and Hayley was flexible to watch Kali while we explored. Communication was very easy. Kali's excitement at arrival on the second and third day made us know she was having a good time and made us feel very comfortable. We would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve always treated pets like family! Not just my own, but every dog and cat I’ve cared for over the years. From helping a nervous rescue settle into a new routine to caring for a diabetic dog who needed consistent, attentive support, I’ve learned that every pet deserves personalized care, patience, and love. Pet parents trust me because I pay attention to the little things; like routine, behavior, comfort, and communication. Whether it’s puppy care, drop-in visits, dog boarding, cat sitting, or administering medication, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and understood in their own environment. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, anxious dogs, and cats with specific preferences, and I always adapt to each household’s needs. I’m also happy to follow detailed instructions. You can expect reliable care, a calm and loving presence, and regular photo updates, so you always feel connected while you’re away. I’d love to meet your pup or kitty and become someone they’re excited to see 🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work in the same building where I live and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide 3-4 walks a day, and frequent check-ins throughout the day if you decide to board. I’m available for boarding during the week and can easily accommodate morning, midday, and evening care, depending on your pet’s needs. Because I’m home often, pets are rarely left alone for over 4 hours periods, which is especially helpful for puppies, senior pets, or pets that need extra attention. Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make it a priority to give each pet the time, structure, and attention they’re used to at home. I live in a cozy apartment equipped with a home camera for added safety, and I have a friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys the company of both cats and dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and daily exercise. My neighborhood is great for dog walks and enrichment, with plenty of space for sniffing and exploring.
“My doberman had a great day of socializing with Phoenix the Rottweiler. They played really well together. I am looking forward to more visits to help my pup not be so reactive to other pups in public.”

“Sally is the epitome of what one could hope for when seeking doggie day care. I was traveling through Nashville and needed my pup cared for. She not only accommodated my last minute booking, she ensured he was comfy, exercised and loved. He’s a senior dog and pretty attached to me but he was putty in her hands. I highly recommend Sally and will certainly see her again when I come through Nashville!”

“I am so grateful for Allison and the way things just happened to align in short time given that I was traveling from out of state and needed day care for my dog. Allison was so incredibly warm, supportive and sensitive to my dogs needs, and communicated throughout the two days of care she provided. Would absolutely recommend her and prioritize her when I roll through town again!”

About: I will take care of them like if they were my own doggies. Cuddle them so they won’t miss Mommy and Daddy. I will sit on the floor and hand feed them if they seem like they’re not eating. They with them with their toys, and I am going to do everything to make sure they are happy and healthy. It is important to have a fresh water, regular exercise, feed them as necessary depending their weight, enough potty breaks, and good sleeping habit, good amount of quality time with them, grooming his hair, clean his ears, give them treat, cuddle them, show attention to them. Depend of the needs of my client’s pets. I need to know first everything about their pets, so I can take care well of them. They have to feel the same as home or even better, but loved and appreciated. They are important as a member of a family.

About: What sets me apart is my love for animals. i have had and took care of many myself. Also, my attentiveness towards your furry baby will make them feel loved and cared for. I’m currently at home a lot, so this job will be perfect. I’m good at setting times for food, and outside. i’d say i have a pretty good schedule for this type of job. i have a huge yard and fence, so if wanted your dog can run around and have all the fun they need. i also have a pet dog that’s very chill, and wouldn’t bother any other animal at all.

About: Hi, I'm Kelly! If you're anything like me, your dogs aren't just pets—they're family. I know how hard it can be to leave them behind, whether you're heading to work for the day or taking a much-needed vacation. The worry about whether they're comfortable, happy, and being cared for the way you would care for them yourself is something I completely understand. Dogs & cats have been a part of my life - forever, and caring for them has always been one of my greatest joys. While Rottweilers hold a special place in my heart, I have raised and trained them for more than 25 years - I've also had the privilege of loving and raising Dachshunds, West Highland White Terriers, and German Shepherds. I truly believe that dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and secure. Just like people, they find comfort in familiar routines and consistency. When I'm caring for your pet, I do my best to keep their days feeling as normal and comfortable as possible, so they can relax while you're away. I’m currently a stay at home Mom. My husband and I have two children (4 years & 5 years old) and two beloved Rottweilers, Beau and Abby. Beau is our big, goofy 120-pound boy with a confident but gentle nature, and Abby is our calm and steady six-year-old girl who seems to have an old soul. We recently lost our senior dachshund Marvin. Years ago, I spent time involved in competitive obedience training and earned therapy certifications with my big dogs. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for canine behavior, communication, and the importance of building trust and understanding with our dogs. More than anything, they taught me that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and respect. I am a Christian, and my faith influences how I care for others—both people and their pets. When you're trusting me with your dog and your home, I understand what a responsibility that is. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for with genuine love, attention, and compassion. Our property is designed to give your pup a fun, safe, and relaxing vacation while you're away. We have a fully fenced backyard on just under an acre, providing plenty of room to run, play, explore, and soak up the sunshine. For dogs who love the water, we have an in-ground swimming pool, and they're welcome to swim under supervision. We even provide doggie life jackets so they can enjoy the pool safely. Your dog's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. All meals are served separately to ensure a calm, stress-free dining experience, and I use brief crate rotations when needed to give each guest quiet time or individualized attention. At bedtime, non-destructive pups are welcome to curl up on a cozy queen-size bed in our guest suite. For dogs who find comfort in background noise, I can leave the TV on to help them relax and feel at home. Each day is filled with personalized attention, games of fetch, outdoor play, cuddles, and plenty of enrichment. On warm days, our guests even enjoy dog-friendly ice cream as a special treat! My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back for their next vacation. Here, your pup isn't just being watched—they're treated like family and spoiled with love every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My life is dedicated to raising my children, and pet sitting allows me to earn a little extra income while doing something I truly love. I strongly believe in routine and structure. As a former teacher, I enjoy keeping things organized and providing a consistent, comfortable environment for everyone in my care. Before caring for your pet, I'll ask plenty of questions about their daily routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they're with us. We have a spacious home with a split floor plan, which allows us to easily accommodate different dogs. If your pet is staying overnight, we can separate dogs when needed, rotate playtime, or allow them to socialize together, depending on their personalities and comfort levels. My dogs do well with other dogs of various sizes, and I always prioritize safe, supervised interactions. We have a fenced yard with a pool. My goal is to provide each pet with the right balance of rest, play, exercise, and socialization so they feel at home while you're away.
“Valerie was amazing. I could not have asked for a better pet sitter. She absolutely loves and understands dogs. Had water ready for them. Took them outside to go potty as we had just got in from Gatlinburg. She kept me up to date. Will definitely use her again if we are ever in Nashville again.”
“Michelle made us feel at ease when leaving our sweet girl with her. We got picture and video updates of how her stay was going, which was so appreciated!! ? our first stay went so well we will definitely be booking again!! Lilah was a happy, tired girl after a FUN day with Michelle and sweet puppy "Bella". ?”

“It was our first time booking the Doggy Day Care service with Jessica and she did awesome. She quickly bonded with our dog and has provided excellent care. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and knowledgeable person to care for their pet.”

“Both dogs came home tired and content after a full day of play! Brook was amazing and very responsive, quick to solidify our booking and sending photos and videos throughout the day of our dogs. Jules can be a wildcard because of her anxious GSD energy, but even she relaxed and appeared to have a good time.”

“We're very pleased with Konnor's doggy daycare service. She was very accommodating of our last-minute, 1-day notice. Finn had plenty of fur friends to play with. He returned to us looking as happy as a clam! We will definitely book with her again the next time we stay in the Nashville area.”

“My Rose seemed to enjoy her 1st two days of doggy daycare with Brandon. Brandon kept me updated on her throughout the day and was very quick to respond when I was checking on her.”

“Megan is amazing !! Both Megan- and Polly- took in my anxious rescue pup with open arms (and paws). I have seen him become less anxious over the last few weeks, and so excited about going to the house. I absolutely recommend her to watch your pups!!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
