“Hayley was awesome! Very professional, friendly and accommodated our requests. She was able to board Cosmo for a night and 2 days of daycare on short notice. Our doggie was exhausted but happy after playing and hanging out with Hayley’s doggies! Definitely recommend her services!”

“Alyssa not only saved us with short booking, it was evident she was skilled at working with dogs. Her furry loved one showed great disciple and we knew immediately she was gong to care for our loved one. We came into Nashville from Pennsylvania and couldn't have felt more comfortable. And honestly Alyssa's responsiveness before we met put that at ease. When we came to pick Obi up it was like he was a part of their pack. Thank you! We'll definitely be looking you up again when we are back in town!”

About: Hello we have a wonderful 1 year old puppy named Tommy. He gets along with every dog big or small. I do get help from my boyfriend so we work together to watch your pet☺️ Make your pet feel comfortable by bringing their own food, treats, toys, cage and whatever other supplies they will need for their stay with us please🙂 We take our dog to the dog park every day to get a good exercise in and some energy and normally our pup is alone at our dog park. available whenever at least one of us will be home We go outside everyday to get all of the energy out. We have lot of toys for dogs to play with. Also with my very energized puppy its very necessary.
“Brooke is fantastic! He sent lots of videos of my Ripley playing with the other dogs. She was good and tired after her stay. Very happy baby. I have already booked Brooke for future visits.”

“Great communication and extremely accommodating. Our pup got sick before day care and she was more than willing to do drop ins instead to prevent other dogs from getting sick. He also clearly had a great time with Bethany!”

“Sally & Daniel are amazing! They are true animal lovers. Their energy is so comforting. I will be booking many more day-care days as well as overnights. I wish I found Sally years ago. My dog is quirky and has a couple special considerations. I feel 110% confident in Sally and the care she provides to my little guy. My dog had the best 1st day with her. He cuddled, played, napped, sunbathed, pottied, and barked. Sally texted me updates with pictures of him throughout the day, which brought me so much joy. He was sent home with a report card giving an overview of his day (love!!!!). It puts me at so much ease knowing he is taken care of like a special prince when I am not available for him. Sally is such a genuine, kind, loving person. I am excited for my dog’s next day with her (so is he)!”

“What a personable and accommodating young man. We had never left our dogs but after meeting Tyler we really felt they were in good hands. He sent pics and we could see both dogs were chillin. Thank you Tyler for enabling us to experience a taste of Nashville.”
“Mellisa was like a second momma bear to our puppy Lilly! She watched Lilly our mini dachshund for a couple weeks while we were in Nashville for work. She took such good care of our puppy like she was her own. I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for someone who will care for your dog as much as you do if not more! We Will definitely be using her next time We are in Nashville.”

“Carolyn is very conscientious and caring, making sure she knows everything about how to take care of your fur baby. The boys had a blast with her and I got lots of pictures and videos. Thank you!”

“My Rose seemed to enjoy her 1st two days of doggy daycare with Brandon. Brandon kept me updated on her throughout the day and was very quick to respond when I was checking on her.”

“Reyhan was communicative throughout the booking and day care stay. I had to find a sitter last minute and her updates helped make me feel comfortable that my dog was safe and relaxed.”

“This was our first time using Rover. Mariah quickly eased my anxiety of leaving Duke with someone I didn’t know. We received a picture mid visit. Mariah is very personable and communicates well. I would highly recommend using her. We certainly will use her again when we are back in the area. Thank you Mariah for taking care of our boy.”

“Landy and Tim are great! Chewie’s first daycare with them went so well! He got two walks, lap sitting, and enjoyed being a part of their pack. Thanks guys! We’d love to book again!”

About: I've cared for a variety of pets- birds, lizards, turtles, dog, cats, you name it! I have grown up with animals but have been indecisive about getting my own pet- just because I don't think I could leave the shelter with just one! I work hybrid schedule so most days I am home all day, so caring for pets throughout the day is not an issue! I also love pets that love being loved on, or may like to be pet more than others. I'm also okay with pets who don't need as much attention from their human. I typically go into the office one day a week but it's depends. I always know ahead of time! Just let me know what you need and I'll see if I can accommodate. I always make sure to love on the pets I care for. I always have treats and ensure to ask about allergies or special accomodations.
About: With over 20 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring a lifetime of love, attentiveness, and reliability to every pet I welcome. I adopted my cat in 2004 and cared for her until she passed peacefully at 19—proof of the deep commitment I have to animal wellbeing. Today, I share my home with a gentle Great Pyrenees–Bernese Mountain Dog mix who’s as friendly as she is fluffy. She adores making new dog friends and would love to keep your pup company during their stay. She has full roam of my house, and your dog will too—if that’s your preference. I want your pup to feel just as comfortable and free as they do at home. What sets me apart? I work from home full-time, so I’m available day and night to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, medication, or just a reassuring presence, I’m here. I also have a fenced yard for safe outdoor fun and provide daily walks to keep your dog active and happy. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just boarded—they’re cared for like family. I offer a calm, nurturing environment where your dog will feel secure, loved, and truly at home. Pet care is seamlessly woven into my daily and weekly routine—it’s not just something I do, it’s how I live. As a seasoned pet owner with over 20 years of experience, caring for animals is second nature to me. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and night to meet the needs of any pet in my care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just being a calming presence, I’m always nearby and attentive. With my own dog, I maintain a consistent routine that includes daily walks, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and plenty of affection and engagement. Weekends are no different; I’m home and hands-on, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I offer both day boarding and overnight stays, whether it’s just for one night or an extended trip. Whether you need a few hours of care while you’re at work or a safe, loving home for your dog while you travel, I’m here to accommodate your needs. Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority. Pets in my care are treated like family—with constant attention, affection, and a routine that supports their comfort and wellbeing. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for outdoor playtime and exploration. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to offer daily leashed walks tailored to their energy level and routine. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and she has full roam of my home. Your dog will too, if that’s your preference, so they can relax and feel right at home. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, I require a meet and greet before any scheduled sitting. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, make sure your pup feels comfortable, and confirm that we’re a great fit. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my priority, and I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where they can thrive.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have lots of experience feeding, walking, and caring for pups. I’ve raised puppies as well as cared for senior dogs. I work full time Monday - Thursday until 6, but I am mostly available the rest of the time. I typically have weekend and evening availability. My husband is often home during the day and can help with providing care as well. I have a fenced yard and a very sweet, small dog who loves other dogs. I can easily crate your dog as well if necessary.
“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Kelsey was great! She was prompt in communication and took great care of Kane. She has a dog that is very friendly and both dogs played well together. We will definitely use Kelsey again in the future.”

Both dogs came home tired and content after a full day of play! Brook was amazing and very responsive, quick to solidify our booking and sending photos and videos throughout the day of our dogs. Jules can be a wildcard because of her anxious GSD energy, but even she relaxed and appeared to have a good time.

Alyssa not only saved us with short booking, it was evident she was skilled at working with dogs. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Hermitage commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
