“Keegan is exceptionally gifted with animals. She bonded immediately with our Sheltie Dani, whom she walked all summer. In fact he looked for her first thing when he got out of his crate. Having grown up on a ranch, she has a wealth of information about animals. This proved extremely helpful because at just over a year old, Dani is still a puppy. She conscientiously told us anything unusual that he did, e.g. yesterday he surreptitiously ate a small rock, typical puppy behavior. She came back everyday with stories of Dani’s antics (he loves to chase dragon flies!), showing how she lets animals into her heart. Keegan is extraordinary. We hate to see her go back to college in OK. We and Dani look forward to more walks when she comes home from school at the holidays!”

“We enjoyed meeting Carmen today! Milo liked her instantly and enjoyed his walk.💛☀️ Also Thankful to find someone who lives nearby, and can ck on Milo when we are away for the day.”

“Thank you Ashley!! You were always there and Emmett was excited to go for his walk. I appreciate you for doing this while I was unable to do so because of surgery. I’m sure we will be seeing you again in the future!”

“I had a fantastic experience with Brooke through Rover. She was incredibly responsive and even accommodated a same-day booking, which was a huge help. She bonded quickly with my dogs and made us feel completely at ease. Her professionalism and clear communication stood out from start to finish. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy care for their pet.”

“Adazia walked in and our dog jumped on her lap And bonded immediately! This just doesn’t happen normally! Needless to say Adazia was a rockstar with our baby and took her on a great walk. Looking forward to using her regularly in the future. Very responsive and has a way with animals.”

I enjoy being active, so walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being. This includes adhering to their usual routines for feeding, exercise, and medication administration, if necessary. I provide regular updates to the owners, maintain cleanliness in the home and pet areas, and ensure ample playtime and companionship. Additionally, I respect the client's home and property, keeping everything in order and secure during my stay.
About: I’ve helped family members take care of dogs by walking and bathing when needed. I’ve always loved being around dogs all my life as I grew up around them and worked in pet stores since 2022. I am currently working full time but the earliest i can stop by is 8 am and the latest being 9:30 at night if needed. I had a career in Nursing, but I am currently not practicing so I am free to help you out with your needs. I am very reliable and trustworthy. About: I’ve owned dogs growing up and cats most of adulthood. I have both fostered & boarded dogs and cats on and off for 15 years. Both my cats have been raised around dogs & cats coming over to visit, so as long as the animals coming to stay are cat friendly, mine will be fine with the company. I’ve been entrusted to pet sit sick animals in need of regular medication without any problems. I’ve bathed both cats and dogs, so if needed, I can give your fur baby a bath too! I just started back to school, so I’m unavailable Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm. Outside of these hours, I am happy to take care of your fur babies as needed, whenever needed!😊 I have a nice home with a fenced in yard to allow pups to run and play. I do my best to give tons of love and play with all in my care. If you’re working on some training, I would be happy to help continue with this.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a kid. I love taking care of these awesome little buds! I’ve taken care of and been around all sorts of dog breeds, including a few years of fostering dogs that needed some special love to make them feel safe and comfortable. I currently work part time from home, mostly doing video editing on my computer. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to make time for watching over furry friends when they need it the most. I also live with my cousin, who is around a lot of the time and loves it when friends come to visit! Dogs are welcome to roam the house, and I am happy to crate your pets, if that is desired. Any pets I look after will get an enormous amount of attention, because I just won’t be able to help myself!
About: I have worked for several companies as a professional pet sitter, dog walker, and dog pack hiker (hiking with up to 7 dogs at a time!) I have two Pet First Aid & CPR certifications and have taken several courses on pet care and animal behavior. I'm excited to meet and take care of your sweet dogs and cats! I work a lot of part time and temporary jobs. I'm mostly available weekday mornings and afternoons, but have some flexibility for other days and times. I'm happy to take care of your dogs and/or cats at your home (I'm unable to board pets at my own home at this time.) About: I recently adopted a new best friend, her name is Betty and she is a 4 year old boxer mix. Betty has now been home for over 6 months and has settled in very nicely and is very friendly with other dogs, and hasn't met a person she doesn't like. I have almost always had animals in my life and home. Almost three years ago I lost my deaf boxer who was my best friend for over 11 years. Along with her I had another dog and 2 cats so I am used to a full house of animals. I also worked at a humane society for almost 3 years, leading the cleaning, feeding, dog training, as well as overseeing the matching and adoption process and am comfortable with giving medications. I am also a volunteer at Wags and Walks generally working with the adoption team on weekends. I work full time, three days in the office, and two days at home so am primarily available Fridays through Sundays. Depending on the animal's needs if they are fine being alone for 8 hours a day I am open to other days. I have always and will continue to always only take dogs out on a leash as my yard is not fenced. I am always very aware of my surroundings to make sure myself and animals are safe.
About: I have several years of experience with boarding dogs as well as taking care of my pup Duchess for years before she passed. All Special diets will be taken care of to the letter, and providing a set schedule for any pet is key and something I strive to maintain. It isn't just about watching your dog; it's also about fully engaging with the pup to ensure they are comfortable in a new space while maintaining the consistency of their at-home schedule. My special skills include being a belly rub specialist, proficient in long walks, and a tug of war master. I've loved and taken care of animals since birth, and if your pet will have me, I would love to care for them as well. I am currently working from home, and so rarely away from the house. My family loves going for walks and playing in the park. We also spend lots of time in the backyard! I have a large fenced yard, and I am currently working on teaching my son about respecting animals and responsibility. Maintaining respect with each animal is essential while reading their body language to understand what they want us to know.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
