I work from home and have flexibility for walks and drop in visits within the Donelson and Hermitage area at most times during business hours and some after hours options. I can accommodate last minute bookings and after hours walks on most days as well for existing clients although a last minute fee will be assessed. I’ll be available to stay in your home overnight if needed and to spend several hours per day in your home, if your home office setup and pet calmness level allows. Wilbur and I will strive to spend as much time as possible with your pet aside from working, attending meetings and running errands. I also offer walks and drop ins whenever is needed for your schedule but require a meet and greet ahead of time.

I am available to play with your dog throughout the day while sitting if working in your home. I can walk dogs as frequently as needed during house sitting or daycare options. I can crate dogs or allow them on the furniture based on your preference. Extended stays will get a dog park visit pending owner approval. Any pets left with me will not be left alone unattended with Wilbur or any other dog for safety reasons, as I take this very seriously and have a 100% success record for avoiding any attacks or dog fights. Wilbur is present with me at all long term services including boarding, house sitting and daycare. Please select walks or drops ins if your pet is not friendly with other dogs. Note that house sitting preference will be given to clients whose pets are friendly with dogs or who allow me to bring Wilbur.

Let me know if your pet takes any medications or requires special medical attention. Please alert me if your animal has any history of destructive behaviors or howling/barking tendencies.
A typical day
For house sitting, I will follow the typical let’s schedule whenever possible. We will create a care plan and price out services accordingly at and after the meet and greet to ensure your pets are met to your expectations. For boarding and daycare, all dogs will gets plenty of exercise and walks as well as mental stimulation. My dog Wilbur will keep your pup engaged with playtime and there is no shortage of toys here! I enjoy treat training dogs, tug a war, hide and seek or scent work. I love walking local trails and parks, so dogs will get lots of new sniffs in a variety of settings. I’m home throughout the day (subject to additional fee for house sitting) to provide lots of belly rubs and butt scratches!

Pet care experience
I have experience with dogs extending back over 20 years. I grew up with professional trainers all around and owned Great Danes who were involved in shows. I also have experience with puppies and young dogs as well as dogs with serious health concerns who require special attention or particular feeding instructions. I am very thorough and strive to make sure all pets are happy and well cared for during my time with them. I currently have a 7 year old pup named Wilbur who enjoys playing with other dogs who are friendly and engages well with puppies and kittens as well.
