“This was a great first time Rover experience! Kayahja sent me pictures and videos each day I was gone. I was also told my Charli interacted really well with her dogs, which was the main reason I wanted Charli to board with someone who has dogs because she doesn’t get a lot of close interaction. Kayahja was very nice and communicative with me. Will be booking with her again!”

“My fur baby had an overnight slumber party at Laura's. Her two dogs and mine had fun outdoors in the fenced yard and inside with lots of toys. I'm so happy with the care and comfort Laura provided to my dog.”

“Tanya was very welcoming to our beagle Lil Mama for a full week. We got regular updates with photos and messages. Our pups got along great and her home has a nice outdoor space. I would highly recommend Tanya!”

“Amanda was really awesome! Great communication and was very accommodating when my flight was delayed and I was later than expected picking my dog up. She made me feel at ease leaving my baby girl for the weekend and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

“Kat and Rob were amazing and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Their communication was impeccable and they provided frequent updates (with photos & videos) while we were gone. Their space is great to give dogs room to run and play outdoors! Our favorite part was seeing how much fun our dog had playing with their two pups.”

“Emily was fantastic with Minnie! Her home is incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of beds, blankets, and a great backyard for play. Minnie stayed for one night, went on her walks, and I felt completely confident she was in good hands. If we’re ever back in Nashville, we would definitely book Emily again. Highly recommend!”

“Cooper was SO HAPPY during his stay with Jen. We had constant communication and Jen was very quick to respond—and sent plenty of adorable photos! 10/10 definitely recommend Jen!”

“An amazing dog sitter! Very responsible, communicative, and genuinely caring. Enzo was happy, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time. I truly appreciated the updates and attention given. I would absolutely book again!!!!”

“Nathan was fantastic, reliable, and super friendly! My dog Chibs and him hit it off, total buddies. Immediately found comfort and reassurance at drop off, also very easy to talk to and text with. He constantly sent pictures and quickly responded anytime I’d reach out. I’m definitely looking forward to future visits and pup play dates!”

“Michelle is always great! She was very accommodating with scheduling pickup for Truffles with my friend while I was away. Truffles is always so relaxed and comfortable with her!”

“Mallory took such great care of Milo! Treated him like he was her own. Great communication. Sent daily updates on Milo, along with photos. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Laura was very responsive and sent some pictures of my pups during their stay. She sent very detailed instructions about how to find her and was very communicative. Thank you for taking such good care of our boys!”

“Sarah looked after our pup like she was her own! I’m grateful for the updates and photos we received during the visit. She really went above and beyond to make sure our girl ate (not a great eater), including hand feeding her. I know who I am calling on next time we go away!!”

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring a lifetime of love, attentiveness, and reliability to every pet I welcome. I adopted my cat in 2004 and cared for her until she passed peacefully at 19—proof of the deep commitment I have to animal wellbeing. Today, I share my home with a gentle Great Pyrenees–Bernese Mountain Dog mix who’s as friendly as she is fluffy. She adores making new dog friends and would love to keep your pup company during their stay. She has full roam of my house, and your dog will too—if that’s your preference. I want your pup to feel just as comfortable and free as they do at home. What sets me apart? I work from home full-time, so I’m available day and night to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, medication, or just a reassuring presence, I’m here. I also have a fenced yard for safe outdoor fun and provide daily walks to keep your dog active and happy. With my own dog, I maintain a consistent routine that includes daily walks, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and plenty of affection and engagement. Weekends are no different; I’m home and hands-on, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I offer both day boarding and overnight stays, whether it’s just for one night or an extended trip. Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority. Pets in my care are treated like family—with constant attention, affection, and a routine that supports their comfort and wellbeing. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to offer daily leashed walks tailored to their energy level and routine. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and she has full roam of my home. Your dog will too, if that’s your preference, so they can relax and feel right at home. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, I require a meet and greet before any scheduled sitting. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, make sure your pup feels comfortable, and confirm that we’re a great fit. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my priority, and I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where they can thrive.

“5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our girl! She watched our dog for a full week and went above and beyond the whole time. We got photo updates multiple times a day, which made being away so much easier, and she took our pup on walks every single day. When we got home, our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. We can’t recommend her enough!”

Jodi was so accommodating of our unexpected scheduling needs around Juniper's first stay with her. She was very understanding and easy to communicate with. The 4th of July fireworks were nerve wracking for our pup and Jodi helped with giving meds and cleaning up a mess with no fuss! She was so calm and capable throughout, giving us the utmost confidence that Juniper was in good hands. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Our two dogs LOVE going to Brandon’s house! They run right in the door and don’t look back, lol. He’s always really good at sending photos of the dogs while we are away and letting us know how they are doing. Great communication from Brandon before and during the stay. Highly recommend!!

Sean is a beautiful lifesaver with a soul that knows pups! We were in a situation that I don’t wish on any pup owner where we were frantic to find someone to keep our border collie last minute after our plan fell through. Sean is kind and patient with all babes and I’d trust him with any furry!

We had a wonderful experience! He took excellent care of our cat and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for while we were away. He sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind and kept communication open throughout the entire stay. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our cat’s well-being and worked hard to make him feel safe and comfortable. We would absolutely book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

We left out Golden puppy with Angela for a week. She took care of him really well. She used to send his picture every week. Just before our visit we found that our dog had hotspot on his neck and had to take medication. She really took care of all of that. We found our dog come back happy and friendlier. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter.

Michelle provided such a nice family/home atmosphere for my 2 little dogs who stayed with her for a few days. They were a little scared at first but Michelle helped them settle in nicely and kept me regularly updated with updates and photos. My dogs even slept in her bed along with her little dog! It was very reassuring to know that my dogs were in a safe loving environment.

Tyler took great care of our dog Max! We were gone for a week and Tyler treated Max to his own vacation full of attention and playtime with his own dog. He also sent multiple pictures and videos throughout the week. We will definitely be using Tyler for our trips coming up!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
