“Jeri did an amazing job taking care of Lucy! She was happy, got plenty of play time, and was well-loved during her stay. I am so thankful to have found this family and will definitely be rebooking in the future!”

“Valentina was great with Biscuit! She sent daily updates and took Biscuit to fun activities like a hike and farmer's market. I had no worries that he was being well taken care of and I plan on booking with Valentina again!”

“Leah was the perfect sitter for our dog! She was very responsive when it came to any questions that we had as first-time boarders. Leah gave us little updates each day (including photos!) on how Pearl was doing, which definitely put our minds at ease while we were away. Leah’s house is the perfect doggie sanctuary with a large yard, and our high energy girl had the best time!”

“My dog stayed with George for the whole day on the 4th of July, and everything went really well. George was extremely accommodating even though my booking was last minute and for a major holiday. He was great about drop off flexibility and late pickup, he sent photos of my pup and was very communicative, and my dog seemed happy to be there and well taken care of. Will definitely bring Tango back for more visits!”

“Dianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!”

“Patti and family gave our Tenby much love and care while we were away on family business. She was able to extend his stay when we were suddenly required out of town longer than we thought. Patti kept us updated with photos and reassurance that all was fine. Thank you Patti for helping us when we needed it most!”

“She took great care of my dog and was very kind and reliable. It’s our 2nd time with her!! I really appreciated the updates and the love she showed my pet. Highly recommend”

“Kelly did amazing. Our pup is super shy and is terrified of strangers, but he warmed up to her and her children better than anyone else he has stayed with. Kelly asked plenty of questions to make sure she understood his needs ahead of time and sent me updates and photos regularly. We will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Valerie responded quickly to my booking request and we were able to quickly schedule a meet and greet. She took great care of Olly when my husband and I went away for the weekend. She sent lots of photos and messages. We would definitely ask her to watch Olly again.”

About: I’m a dependable dog lover who provides a safe, clean, and loving home away from home. I share my home with a friendly Toy Poodle and a well-socialized Doberman, so your pup can enjoy companionship—or, if you prefer, I can keep them separate for a more personalized stay. Whether your dog loves to play or prefers a calm environment, I’ll treat them like family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. 🐶💕 I work remotely, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, supervision, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Your our pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive the care, love, and attention they deserve. My home features a fully fenced yard for supervised play and exercise, along with a dedicated pet area for rest and relaxation. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I require that all dogs be house-trained and crate-trained.
“Brook took amazing care of our girl this weekend. He has an awesome yard and the pups he had there were so happy! Right when we got there he made sure to take our pup up to the other dogs slowly and let her get used to them before he let her off of the leash, but once she was comfortable she had the absolute best time! He even sent pictures and videos to us while we she was there, which made it easier to be away from her ❤️”

“Jessica was an amazing sitter! She sent lots of updates and photos and it was obvious our pup had a blast with her and her dogs. We would definitely recommend and would book her again!”

“Konnor was very sweet and obviously loves dogs! She was able to watch my babies with only a day's notice. She also let us know when our little guy was struggling a little to understand what was going on (he is only 9 months old and this is the first time we've ever left him). I appreciate knowing that. I could tell she cared! It is so hard to leave my babies, but I felt very comfortable with Konnor and the updates she sent were so appreciated:)”

“Katherine and her husband once again took such good care of Juni, she was all tuckered out when she got home! Always so happy to drop her off and know she’s in perfect hands 😊”

“Ashley has a great place for high energy dogs! Big open space for them to run around and even a creek for the hotter days. Would definitely board here again!”

BRI AND DANIEL WERE AMAZING! They sent updates, kept me in the loop, and were very responsive! Smoke definitely enjoyed his time with them! I will be using their services again very soon! If you’re looking to have your dog taken care of, please book them! 5 out of 5!!

Kristin took amazing care of our dog, Niko, and treated him like one of her own. She made him feel completely at home, letting him sleep on the couch and taking him on regular walks. We really appreciated the daily updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She even sent Niko home with a special treat in his bag, which was such a thoughtful touch. Niko was so happy and comfortable with Kristin that he almost didn’t want to leave when we picked him up! We highly recommend Kristin to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
