Welcome! I’m a mom of two toddlers, have an 8 year old golden retriever, and am a proud plant parent, so I know how much love, patience, and attention it takes to care for those who can’t always tell us what they need. Your dog will be treated like part of our family from the moment they arrive, with plenty of love, attention, and care throughout their stay. To help ensure a safe environment for everyone, I do require that all boarding dogs be comfortable around young children. If any concerns arise during their stay, I’ll contact you right away so we can address them together. We can’t wait to welcome your pup!

Sydnie and her family are great sitters for our dogs. This past stay for them was the longest they’ve been away from us for a stretch and Sydnie always kept us updated with plenty of pics of our boys!

Schedule
I work full time at Vanderbilt University and operate on a hybrid schedule, giving me consistent availability throughout the week. With my 2 boys in daycare during the day, I am able to dedicate focused, uninterrupted time to your pet. My husband is also able to work from home on the days I am in office.

I care for pets the same way I care for my own, with consistency, attention, and a calm, safe environment. I supervise interactions closely and make sure every dog has space to relax or play depending on their personality. My golden retriever is friendly and helps new dogs settle in, but I always prioritize a calm, controlled environment. I am responsive, communicative, and flexible. Every evening, I’ll send you a few photos of your pup along with a recap of their day. Sometimes your pup even “writes” a little note to Mom or Dad to let you know how much fun they’re having! 🐾
Pets
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level. That can include neighborhood walks at their pace, playing fetch in the yard, or letting them explore and sniff. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to spend time giving attention and keeping them company with a movie on the couch. If your dog enjoys other dogs, my golden retriever is friendly and often becomes a built-in playmate. 🐾
