About: I have taking care of dogs and cats since I have been able to walk. I have worked at numerous vetâs offices as Kennel Assistants and have always had a cat or dog myself that I have taken care of and consider them my âfur-childrenâ. I love all cats and dogs and would love to take care of you baby and treat them as my own! Iâm available most mornings and evenings to take care of your fur-baby! I can help with walks during the day if planned in advance as well. I have a small backyard (not fenced) but am willing to take your animals around for a good long walk in the morning and the evenings as well. I have dog crates available for the dogs to be crated during the day (to board at my house they must be crate trained and be willing to stay in the crate when I am not home). I work only 10 minutes away from my house so I can make as many trips home to give them time out of the crate during the day as needed! I also have a spare room that could be used for the cat or dog to have their own closed in space if needed! I also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, dog toys, cat beds, a cat tower looking outside at a bird feeder for activity, and cat toys for them to play with! I also keep an extra couple of litter boxes handy, in addition to my LitterRobot for cats!
âDianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!â

âThese guys are the real deal! Dogs are truly their passion! Theyâre attentive to the individual needs of every dog they accommodate. My dog has special emotional needs (due to past abuse) and they literally catered to his specific needs. They even regularly sent pictures and videos of his daily activities. I highly recommend them to everyone who truly loves their pets (family). Best boarders in the area by far!â

we are so grateful for Sarah in the amazing care that she provided for our cat and dog while we were away getting married. I didnât need to stress about the fur babies because she sent me pictures every single day and gave me updates on how they were doing and what they were up to. We will definitely book with her again in the future.

Victoria was great. She was responsive to messages. She was gracious enough to allow me a revisit before the drop off. Very easy to work with. Her accommodations and big fenced yard which always makes me feel safer for leaving my dog. She sent pictures and few times a day. My dog seemed to have a great time. Definitely recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
