“Leah provided so many updates and details that it was as if I hadn’t even left my sweet Daisy behind. Leah & Wes and “the girls” welcomed Daisy with open arms and paws! I’m so glad we found this wonderful family to look after Daisy when we are away. Daisy came home happy and I know when we use Leah & Wes again she will be well taken care of!!”

“Marisa was super nice working with us. We had a snow and ice storm the day before we left. She made arrangements for us so we didn’t miss our trip. Coco did well with her.”

“Brooke went over and above to take care of Bella and make her stay enjoyable! She is an excellent communicator and I enjoyed the photos she sent throughout Bella’s stay. We will use Brooke again!”

“Our golden loved it here. They have a large fenced in back yard for him to run around and let all his energy out and had plenty of toys for him to destroy. Brandon sent me pictures everyday also which I loved.”

“Laura did a wonderful job taking care of our pup while we were away for the weekend. She treated him as one of her own and was very communicative in sending “pupdates” (videos of the dogs playing in her awesome fenced in yard or cuddling on the couch). Your dog will be in very good hands with Laura - I highly recommend!”

“Huri has been the best with my Addie Mae! She has been great at updating me and sending me photo updates! And she helped me out and gave her a bath! I’m so thankful I found someone that Addie and I love and I feel so much better having to leave her when I know how happy and well taken care of she is!”

“Pamela was great with our Rhaegar, she sent pictures and he seemed like he had a lot of fun. He told me all about it when we got home, as all huskies do! Thank you will book again.”

“She is so gentle & amazing with my rescue dog! She got her to open up & now she loves Margaret so much! Margaret is also such a good communicator and goes above/beyond. I will continue to book with her!!”

“We loved having Penny stay with Ritch! He sent the sweetest pictures and was great at communicating throughout her stay. I could tell she had had the best time and had been loved well when I picked her up.”

“Lauren was great with Lola and Oakley. She sent messages and photos so that we didn't worry about our dogs as well. Not only do Ithink that Lola and Oakley made new human friends but I also feel like they made new pup friends and have new memories that are going to last.”

“Mochi had a fantastic time with Scott’s family. Scott sent us daily pictures of Mochi and his new friends, and we were so happy to see him enjoying his stay. I truly appreciate the wonderful care Scott provided, and we will definitely be back. :)”

“Erin and Joseph were great. I have 2 German Shepard rescues that came from a very abusive start. They never really have been able to completely overcome their trauma but they are sweet and gentle and just want to feel safe. Erin and Joseph were very kind and patient and just let them do their thing. They provided updates and I could tell that they were being loved and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Erin and Joseph for your daycare and boarding needs.”

“Katie was so sweet with Murphy, she graciously let us do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure he and Margot were buddies (they got on famously), and was very communicative about his time there, and was diligent in administering his twice daily medications. She was flexible working with our drop off and pick up schedule and I look forward to booking with her again if the need arises!”

“Shannon and Barbara took wonderful care of my dog, Bunny. I could not be more grateful and impressed. They had wonderful response times and answered any questions I had since it was my first time leaving Bunny with someone outside of family. They updated me frequently and made this whole process a dream. Definitely planning on rebooting with them in the future!”

“We had a great experience! They have two dogs of a similar size to ours, and both were very friendly. We did a meet-and-greet before booking to make sure all three dogs got along well, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Everything went smoothly, and our dog was comfortable and well cared for the entire time. We felt very confident that our dog was in a safe and happy environment. Highly recommend!”

“Cyndie was the PERFECT match for my Farrah Grace. She sent pictures and updates at the most prefect times. We will ALWAYS be using Cyndie for future pet sitting.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Greenbrier
Shelby was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we met her, we knew Bella and Bailey were going to be in great hands. She took excellent care of our girls, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. As an added bonus, her sweet dog, Scout, got along great with Bella and Bailey. Shelby also took great care of our home, leaving everything clean and just as we left it. We couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter. We would absolutely book Shelby again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
