“Katherine watched Hank for a week and she was great! Hank had a good time playing with her dog and another golden she was watching at the same time. He settled in quickly and I got daily photo and text updates. I will definitely use her again!!”

“Natalie was AMAZING with our Sookie girl. We received lots of updates and knew she was being well taken care of. We cannot thank Natalie enough for her help while we were out of town and we'll definitely request her again in the future!”

“Frankly, I was afraid that my dogs would not want to come home with me. They probably had a blast. Leah sent me pictures of the dogs hanging out with her kids, participating in game night, running through the open area that Leah has. This is an awesome setting!”

“🐕🦺💕 I cannot say enough good things about Michelle and Bryce who watched our fur baby Rocky when we went on a family cruise Rocky is only a year old And he's a big baby weighing about 75 lb We have never left him with a pet sitter but Michelle and Bryce seem so kind and comforting from the first conversation we had, I knew the first time I met them that they were the perfect pet sitters for us they sent us plenty of pictures and videos and Rocky felt at home from the very beginning You could tell that they had a genuine love for him I will absolutely use them anytime that I need a pet sitter in the future what's we got back to our home it actually seemed like Rocky missed Michelle and Bryce which was just gave melconfirmation that they were the perfect pet sitters for us💕”

“Alexandra and Katya were the best I could ask for. They took Layla in an emergency situation and treated her with so much care. My dog had a lot of extra needs and they were so kind and caring. Cooked for her, and made sure she was comfortable. They also kept me updated everyday with pictures. I would choose them again in a heart beat. Thank you ladies so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Hank had a blast staying with Maddy! The daily update pictures were so thoughtful, especially since it was Hank’s first time staying with them. Will definitely be using Maddy for future stays!”

“Nathan is amazing! He took such excellent care of our dog, Tulip. She went on so many adventures and loved playing with his dogs. I can’t recommended him highly enough!”

“My dogs had the best time and were well taken care of! So thankful that she was able to keep my pups while I was gone! Would recommend Amanda to anyone that needs a sitter while out of town! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Tara was a wonderful sitter for our golden retriever. We traveled to the Franklin area with our family and decided last minute to find a sitter for our pup so we could explore the town and not worry about leaving him in the hotel alone. Tara gave him lots of love and snuggles and was great at communicating/ sending photos.”

About: I'm a dog lover with two miniature dachshunds who loves caring for other small dogs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I started pet sitting because I genuinely enjoy having extra puppy friends around. I only take one small dog at a time, so every guest gets lots of one-on-one attention in a calm, relaxed home environment. I’m a PhD student who works primarily from home, so your pup will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and playtime throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide daycare and overnight boarding on both weekdays and weekends. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so every guest gets the care, love, and attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have two friendly miniature dachshunds, Kiki and Lulu, who love other small dogs. To create a calm and safe environment, I only accept small breeds. Every dog is introduced slowly, supervised during play, and given their own space if they need a break. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, potty breaks, medications, and bedtime, and I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is having a great time.

“Ashley was a great communicator, very flexible, and my dog was clearly having the best time with her based on all the pics she sent! We will definitely look forward to booking her again in the future.”

“Alescia is a great sitter and person in general. Took great care of my pup, was very communicative, and would definitely refer her to others who are looking for a good dog sitter in the Nashville area.”
“We live in a screwed up world so my Bella helps me get thru the day. So I like to leave her when I have to with someone who is a true dog lover and Mrs Kathrine is that person. I don’t like dealing with a whole lot of people so hopefully I can let Bella enjoy a stay with her again”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She took amazing care of my two dogs, keeping me updated with regular photos and videos so I knew they were happy and safe. Communication was great throughout, and it was clear my dogs were having a wonderful time with her. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
