About: I have 20+ years experience caring for my own dogs, pet sitting, and fostering for dog rescues, including experience with senior dogs, puppies, and medical cases. I work from home so I can provide your pet with plenty of love and attention and have very flexible scheduling for services within my home or within your home. For services within my home: I have a large, adult, fixed male dog who is great with other dogs and is very calm. I have two acres of unfenced property with beautiful mature trees and surrounded by farmland. My dog and I frequently sit on the back patio and enjoy the sounds of nature. Depending on the needs of your dog, I can take them on our regular walk to the nearby park (about 1.5miles total, 1-3x per day) or shorter walks around the property. For services in your home: I understand the importance of your dog's routine and I have the flexibility to offer services so that they won't skip a beat when you're out of town.

I work professionally in the events industry doing lighting and drapery, which means my schedule is incredibly flexible. I do not work a rigid 9-to-5 desk job. Instead, I am often home for long stretches of the day to play, cuddle, and hang out with your dog.Please note: Because I work in events, my hours can occasionally be unconventional and my schedule can change last minute (i.e. a last minute 5 am event installatin or a 12 am installation take down originally scheduled for 12 pm); However, I am always 100% transparent about any changes as they happen! And after much begging to my mother, we rescued my childhood dog from a humane society shelter in Ft. Worth, TX, and the rest is history. With me, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is receiving all the love and care possible. Dogs are not a job, but a life passion of mine! My first pet sitting experience, at the age of 6 (under the supervision of my mother), is one I won't soon forget. The neighbors had tasked me with watching their cat while they were away. The only problem was that they had forgotten to leave us a key to the apartment. Times like this one taught me to be quick on my feet in emergent situations. In the end, we were able to secure a key, and the cat was safe and well cared for. Over the years, my experience grew immeasurably, and even included a long standing stint as a "dog nanny" when her dog mom and dad vacationed. I am in between jobs at the moment, so Rover is my full time income. This means extra quality time and love for your babies! If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring it along, as this can provide a sense of comfort and safe space them. I do have a camera that I sometimes use to check in on the dogs, should I have to leave to run a quick errand or something.
