About: I have been around pets since the age of 3. Even at the young age of 3, I knew that I had a special connection with all animals and enjoyed helping to care for the animals in our home. I have had dogs, cats, a rabbit, guinea pigs and even reptiles at one point. Caring for and loving these animals has helped me become adaptable to whatever situations come my way. The first dog I took care of was my pug, Wilma. She required a lot of maintenance where I had to help clean her face and even gave her baths from time to time. I've also lived with a special needs goldendoodle, where he had oral medicine to help prevent seizures and navigate walking instead of in circles to the left. Throughout taking care of my guinea pigs, cats, and rabbit, I always paid great attention to detail to ensure their areas were clean, as well as their litter boxes. I work full-time at a job in the rosa parks area from 730 to 4, Monday to friday, but I can leave early or come in late so that I can help your pets get the care they need. I am off on weekends Reading and following the details in the instructions from the owners is always a top priority. I ensure the pets are cared for through feeding, giving fresh water, as well as walking and playing with the animals. I am dedicated to spending quality time with each animal I care for, whether it's belly rubs, fun walks or playing with their favorite toys. After watching how the pets move through their natural environment and observing their natural behavior, the routine of taking care of your pet becomes natural for me. I have had many people comment on how calm their animals feel around me.

About: I’ve cared for dogs on my own and for friends and family 🐶 I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing with them, and making sure they’re well taken care of 🦴🐾 I love dogs and genuinely enjoy having them around and spending time with them ❤️ I am a breakfast server and work mornings 3-5 days a week and am home around lunch on those days. I then use the rest of the day to spend time with the dogs, take them to the park, and spend quality time together at the house :) I care for your dog like they’re my own 🐶 I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave, make sure they’re fed, get outside, and get plenty of attention while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs weather overnight or drop ins for a few years mainly for neighbors at first then branching out into others around the area who need help! I also have 3 golden-doodles at home who are very hyper and love people. My goal is also to get a Great Dane in the future! I am currently an intern at Warner Records Nashville but I have a flexible schedule which allows for drops ins as well as staying overnight at your house! About: Hi, I'm Agrima! I've spent plenty of time caring for my friends' pets and have worked at an animal shelter for a year. I absolutely love animals but a dog of my own isn't quite in the cards on a grad student budget just yet. That's exactly why I joined Rover, it gives me a doggo to walk, snuggle, and play with and it gives you someone who's genuinely excited to see your dog. I would love nothing more than to take care of your fur baby and give them all the love and attention they deserve! I'm also in a really dog-friendly, walkable neighborhood, a short walk from Centennial Park, so there's no shortage of green space, walking paths, and ways to keep your furry friend happy and entertained. I also love going for morning and evening jogs so your pet will get plenty of exercise. I'm a grad student, so my schedule is genuinely flexible. I can plan my days around your pup's routine. Midday walks, feeding times, or check-ins that a 9-to-5 can't cover are exactly where I can help. I live in a gated community with its own dog park, just minutes from Centennial Park, plenty of secure space for play and longer walks. About: i’ve taken care of animals for about 8 years now. i have also had at least 1 dog and cat for my entire life. i have 3 dogs and a cat myself (including a 16 year old beagle)!! i love animals soso much and think they deserve the absolute best from everyone. i often drive around handing out pet supplies to homeless with animals as well. im currently part time in school and work! i usually have class 8am-1pm but have an awkward break until work at 4pm-11pm. on my off days i am completely available and always looking for stuff to do! i have a fenced in yard for my 3 dogs and keep my cat inside. i often take one of the dogs to run errands with me and explore for some enrichment and fun! i don’t take my elderly dog (16) out too much due to his lipomas (fat tumors- typical for beagles) interfering with his hip/leg movement during long walks. he does get plenty of attention and fun at home though!

About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact.
