“It was our first time to use BOTH Rover and Carrie and we left our dog and three cats with her for a little over two weeks! It was an act equally of trust and sheer need. But, Carrie came through for us with flying colors! She came not once but two times before we left in order to get the dog more familiar with her. Our dog was a rescue dog and she really isn’t independent. Carrie also came an hour before we left to help transition the dog into her care. We came home to a very happy, healthy dog and three happy kitties. And, extra bonus, Carrie had cleaned up after herself and the animals, leaving the house just as clean, if not cleaner than when she found it! Carrie checked in with us daily, always responded when we texted, and sent us lots of photos. Thanks so much, Carrie!”

“Elyssa was fantastic. Followed my instructions perfectly, provided great updates and always made me feel that my pup was in good hands. Will look forward to booking again!”

“Grace was great with Dozer while we were out of town. She sent pictures each day and followed everything we left for him. Would definitely rebook with Grace if we ever need someone to stay with Dozer again!”

“Alexis was fantastic. She stayed with our dogs for a few days. We got great updates. But most importantly, when a series of bad storms swept through our town, she was there to comfort the nervous puppies.”

“We used Thomas for house sitting our five pets which include a senior dog with a host of health issues and an anxious, reactive bigger pup. He took great care of everyone and was very respectful of our home. His communication was fantastic and friendly with lots of pics of our happy critters. I'm always nervous leaving our pets but I would feel very comfortable and confident having him take care of our home and critters again. Definitely hope to use him in the future!”

About: I've taken ticks out of fur, trimmed dog nails, cleaned kitty litters, and taught tricks since I was 12 years old. Growing up with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a foster dog in between taught me how to manage multiple pet care. I've cared for pets old, new, sick, and shy. I know how to balance love & care with responsibility, and keeping your pet behaved.*Note: Pets in photos are my own family pets, or pets allowed on specific furniture. I will not pet or allow your animal on furniture they are not permitted to be on. I'm currently in part time work, so I have a very open schedule. Can put multiple days in a row into caring for your pet, with particular weekend availability. While care and basic needs come first, my secondary goal is to make sure I am reinforcing good behavior and discouraging bad behavior in your pet. I understand that part of ensuring a pet's safety & wellbeing is making sure they are not gaining forbidden access to certain objects or locations, or participating in harmful behavior. I promise to do follow any rules or guidelines you set for your pet.

“Carrie was a great dog sitter. She took amazing care of our dogs and house. She sent me pictures of my dogs which made me feel stress free on my trip. Thank you!!”

“Lori did a wonderful job house sitting with Luna and Oliver, and I’m so happy she took them for daily walks! Lori met all of my expectations! Will book again.”

About: I have lived with pets my whole life, including cats, dogs, turtles, fish, rabbits, etc. I have owned labs, terriers, among other dogs and have had them since I was an infant into adulthood. I do not currently own a dog, but my friends and roommates of two years have a mini aussie and we are best friends. I have also cared for a variety of dogs in an official capacity and for my friends who all call me Aunt Amber for their pups. I love walks, playing, and snuggling pups. I also have experience administering meds and have cared for dogs in all stages of life. I run my own business and work part-time outside of that on a contract basis so I have a lot of flexibility. I live north of Nashville in Greenbrier but I am also down in Nashville almost daily for other tasks, so I travel a wide range. I take a lot of care in clients' homes. I make sure to read and understand all household and pet rules and requests, make sure the pets are fed, have water, and are comfortable. I can walk, play with, feed, take them to the bathroom, etc, and happy to clean up after the pet. I respect my clients' homes and hold the privacy and security of the home as of utmost importance.

“Great job!”

“Caitlin was very responsive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire sitting process. She sent daily updates while I was away. I would recommend her to everyone!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I born, the only year without a dog was my freshman year of college. It lasted one year and I moved off campus to get my first dog on my own a Shih Tzu named Basil, next we added a Yorkie named Pepper and finally a Cockapoo named Thyme. My family has always had dogs and of any and all sizes. My wife and I currently work full time but are able to meet your pups needs in the mornings and evenings, we have 3 at home that have their own routine There are many dog parks near by that I would gladly take them to and let them run and be happy. We have a nice fenced in back yard where they could also run. There would be at least 3 other dogs around that all get along with anyone and everything.

“Alex exceeded expectations for sure! I am super nervous leaving my dog who has some health issues and lots of anxiety, but Alex put both me and my girl at ease. Great with communication — i got plenty of updates on how things were going and photos! Plus, my home was clean and exactly how I left it so that was great to come home to. I would definitely recommend and I will absolutely be contacting Alex first for future sitter needs! Thanks Alex!!!”
