About: I genuinely treat every pet like they're my own. I'm comfortable caring for pets with different needs, whether that's high-energy dogs that need long walks and playtime, puppies still learning routines, or older pets that need a slower pace and a litle extra patience. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications (if necessary), and any specific instructions you leave. I also make a point to keep you updated with photos and check-ins, so you're never left wondering how your pet is doing. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I work as a paralegal in downtown Nashville during the week, but I'm available during my lunch break for walks or quick drop-ins. After 5 PM, I'm fully available for longer walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your pet company. On weekends, I'm much more flexible and can be available pretty much all day depending on your needs. Whether it's multiple visits, extended stays, or last-minute plans, I'm happy to help. I just ask for about an hour's notice, so I can make sure I get there on time and give your pet the attention they deserve. In my own home, I'm used to caring for two very different personalities. I have one high-energy dog who loves to run and play, and one more relaxed dog who prefers to take it easy. I adjust my care based on their needs , whether that means being outside throwing a ball and staying active, or slowing things down for cuddle time and a calm environment. When I'm in a client's home, I follow that same approach. I pay close attention to each pet's personality and routine and adjust accordingly. If your dog loves to play, I'm more than happy to keep them active and engaged with walks, games, and mental stimulation. If they're more laid back or just want companionship, I'm just as happy to spend time relaxing with them and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

About: Growing up, I’ve always been around animals and caring for pets. I had a corgi named Mickey, a bunny rabbit named Kiki, a German shepherd/hound mix rescue named Bailey, and a dachshund/terrier mix named Cinnamon. “Elyssa is absolutely a fantastic sitter. She watched our golden retriever for the weekend while we were out of town. It was our first time leaving him post moving which always makes me nervous. Elyssa, though, was fantastic. At first contact, she set up a meet and greet to come meet us and Triton to make sure we were a good fit (which I appreciated a ton). It always makes me feel better meeting the person who will be taking care of my fur baby. She is great at communication and responds quickly with any updates. Triton got so much love and pets while we were gone and we were able to not worry of him while being gone. I’m really grateful for how well he was taken care of and the peace of mind we had leaving him in Elyssa’s hands!”

About: Hi all! I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, but I officially started fostering 5 years ago! I have plenty of experience with senior pets, puppies/kittens, and disabled pets as well. I also have experience working in a vet clinic so I’m very comfortable administering oral medications and have experience handling reactive dogs and spicy kitties! I have 2 furry friends of my own that mean the absolute world to me. Neptune is a 3 years old Lab/basset hound mix I adopted in 2023 and Angel is my sweet kitty girl that has grown with me since 2017. I'm available 7 days a week now for any drop-ins, walks, and/or sitting as needed! I currently do not work as I am going back to school (online) full-time, so I have plenty of time for all the furry friends! While I don't have a fenced in yard, I do live in a very pet friendly and walkable neighborhood and will always ensure pets leashes are secure before all walks/outside time. I have a 3 year old lab retriever mix who is very friendly with all animals and an indoor only cat who keeps to herself, unless she wants cuddles of course! I have experience in puppy training, specifically with crate training and leash walking, from fostering pups in the past.
