About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. About: I grew up on a farm most my life. I have taken care of all kinds of animals. From dogs and cats, to cows and bunnies. I was in FFA all through high school and I focused a lot of time on animals. I watched the neighbors animals for 3 years. I can do just about anything you need me to do. I also did about 3 months in shelter medicine, but my heart was a little to hurt by the things I seen to stay very long. I have 4 cats and a dog of my own. Taking care of pets is a natural part of my day because my schedule is flexible and I can work from any location. I love being outdoors and staying active, so I truly enjoy walks and playtime. I plan my day around each pet, making sure they always get the attention, exercise, and care they need When I look after your pet at your home, I follow their normal routine and your instructions for feeding, walks, and care. I keep the space tidy and watch your pet to make sure they’re doing well. If your pet stays with me, I give them a calm, safe place and make sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. About: i’ve taken care of animals for about 8 years now. i have also had at least 1 dog and cat for my entire life. i have 3 dogs and a cat myself (including a 16 year old beagle)!! i love animals soso much and think they deserve the absolute best from everyone. i often drive around handing out pet supplies to homeless with animals as well. im currently part time in school and work! i usually have class 8am-1pm but have an awkward break until work at 4pm-11pm. on my off days i am completely available and always looking for stuff to do! i have a fenced in yard for my 3 dogs and keep my cat inside. i often take one of the dogs to run errands with me and explore for some enrichment and fun! i don’t take my elderly dog (16) out too much due to his lipomas (fat tumors- typical for beagles) interfering with his hip/leg movement during long walks. he does get plenty of attention and fun at home though!
