“DeAnna provided excellent care to our dog, Guinea pig, and chickens! From the start she was a great communicator and we felt at ease being gone from our critters. Our dog got lots of walks and play time. We highly recommend DeAnna!”

“I was incredibly nervous as this was the first time I have ever used a pet sitter, but my anxiety disappeared the moment I met David. He was fantastic from start to finish. He came over a few days before the appointment to meet Gracie and for us all to get acquainted, which put both me and my pup at ease. When the actual pet sitting day arrived, he was prompt, professional, and incredibly considerate. He sent multiple photo updates throughout his visit, which absolutely made my day and let me know Gracie was in great hands. It’s safe to say Gracie has found a new BFF! This dog mom is thrilled to have found such a reliable, caring person to stay with her baby when I need to be away from the house for an extended period of time. I highly recommend his services and will definitely be booking him again!”

“Marissa was fantastic, super attentive to our fur babies needs and attention seeking. Played outside with our youngest pup who enjoys playing, “keep away”. Will definitely book again over and over, highly recommend Marissa!”

“We have a brand new puppy and I was SO nervous to leave him. Blaise instantly put us at ease. She sent updates and took amazing care of our sweet boy it was evident he loved her!”

About: I have three pups of my own, (Roosevelt, 6 year old border collie, Sadie B, 5 year old dalmatian mix, and Chewbacca, 1 year old Carolina dog.) They are all rescues. I adore them, they are my babies. I would have many more if I had a farm and could talk my husband into it. I visit dog shelters regularly and become familiar with all the pups. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pups when you go out of town. Please contact me with your pet sitting needs. Thanks "Every once in awhile a dog enters your life and changes it." "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself." "Be the person your dog thinks you are"

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with German Shepherds and have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years, including cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. My lifelong experience has taught me that every animal has its own personality, needs, and routines—and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm and reliable companion, I provide attentive, compassionate care tailored to them. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. From energetic dogs to shy cats and small animals, my goal is always the same: to make your pet feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Scheduling & Availability I recently relocated to the area and currently have open availability, which gives me the flexibility to help with everything from daily walks and drop-in visits to overnight stays and last-minute bookings. I understand that life can be unpredictable, and I do my best to accommodate your schedule while providing reliable, loving care for your pets. Pet Care in Your Home At this time, I provide care exclusively in your pet's home. I recently relocated, and I find that caring for pets in their familiar environment allows them to stay comfortable, maintain their normal routines, and experience less stress while you're away. By caring for your pets in their own home, I can ensure they receive personalized attention, exercise, companionship, and consistent care in a place where they feel safe and secure.
“Casey took care of our two dogs and cat for a week while we were traveling. She came to our house to meet the “boys” about a week before we left and all three of them took an instant liking to her! She stayed at our house so the boys could be in familiar surroundings and kept us in the loop with photos and texts while we were traveling so we could see what a good time they were having back at home. I will definitely ask her to pet sit again. It was a great experience for our boys and for us.”

“Amira did a great job watching our pets and the house for 3 days while we were out of town. She is very friendly and personable. Great communication during the entire trip. Sent pics of the animals every day. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Amira!”

About: ~Hello, dear friends & furry children! (: My name is Mariah, & I am a 31 year old woman from TN. I am a CNA—certified nurse assistant, who has provided care for several senior patients & families in the Nashville area, within the privacy of their homes. I have assisted patients with daily hygiene, toileting, meal assistance, medication management, sit to stand transfers & movement through the home, housekeeping, grocery shopping, office work for the past 3 years. I have also slept over at one of my patients home many times & made sure her whole house was locked up before we went to bed & everything was taken care of. ~Pets have been a part of my life from a very early age. My sisters had kittens & cats that they cared for when we were growing up, and I owned 2 sweet doggies from the time I was in 8th grade to 29 years old. My second doggy, I raised from the time she was a tea cup sized puppy to her passing at 14 years old. She truly was my fur child, & I grieved her passing. I drove her to vet visits, paid for her medication & surgery. I bathed her, fed her, paid for her food, walked her, held her, & cuddled her as much as I could. She is now buried in my parents’ backyard with a statue to honor her sassy little sweet life, & I keep pictures of her in my room. ~As a dog/house sitter, in the past, I have dogsat for 2 different families while they were away & stayed at their homes. I have provided backyard play, dog walks, followed feeding instructions, & given lots of pets & cuddles. These two dogs were an Australian shepherd puppy & another breed I can’t recall. I have also taken care of my patients’ pets. A calico rescue cat named Callie. I fed her, cleaned her water dishes, refilled her water containers, cleaned out her litter box, vacuumed her room, & gave her lots of attention. Sadie, a Maltese senior dog who I took outside for bathroom visits & supervised while my patient held her leash. Sophie, another sweet senior Pit mix rescue dog who just needed bathroom breaks outside, water, cuddles, & a few short walks. And Gretschen, a goldendoodle with high energy. We went outside together frequently for backyard play with his many toys, neighborhood walks, & fed him twice a day & added his probiotic powder. I look forward to hopefully meeting & taking care of your fur child & home! (: I am currently in a job transition. I am a certified CNA. I provide care for senior patients & patients diagnosed unexpectedly within their home. It has been a privilege. Many of my patients have become like family. I have also taken care of many pets within the home as well as provided dogsitting/housesitting services. I am available for long boarding stays & can even do housekeeping, dog walks & care, anything that is needed for pet care throughout the week. I have open availability. I have a large partially fenced in backyard. I have a great neighborhood for dog walking with side walks leading all the way to the Publix near my house as well as coffee near my house that is dog friendly. I have a dogsitting outdoor restaurant that I could take your dog to..to play & interact with other dogs if socializing is important to you. I also have a public park I could take your dog to. It’s 5 minutes away by car. Obviously this is all if you needed care provided within my home, but I can definitely provide care from your home & neighborhood.
“I can not say enough great things about Rachel. This was my first time using someone from here to watch my fur baby so I was a bit nervous. This young lady is beyond professional, attentive and kind. She made me feel at ease within a few minutes of speaking with her . She kept me updated on all things involving my little Ace and he liked her immediately. I plan on using her again and again and would definitely recommend her!”

“Anna was the best with our pups! We will definitely reach out to her again when our pups need a sitter! She took the best care of them and they didn’t want her to leave when we got back. 10 out of 10 highly recommend Anna for top notch care for spoiled pups! Thank you so much Anna for making our daughters day super special!”

“Rachel was great! She came on time, our dog loved her, and seemed well taken care of. We received photos of our dog comfortable at our house through out the time she was home sitting. I’d would love to book her again!”

“Nicole is awesome! She was incredibly attentive to my dogs during her stay, and sent daily updates and pictures. She went above and beyond to make sure the dogs got plenty of attention, walks etc, and also made me feel extremely comfortable leaving them in her care for an extended period of time. I would absolutely use Nicole for future house /dog sitting, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable pet sitter who genuinely loves animals and taking care of them. Thank you so much!!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred White Oak Flat walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in White Oak Flat maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in White Oak Flat choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
