About: I LOVE dogs and cats. I have had dogs and cats of my own my whole life of all breeds and sizes. From over night stays, to just a quick check in I will be available for any need your dog(s) may have. Activities I enjoy most with dogs- walks, inside & outside playtime, and doggy cuddles. I am willing travel to reach you around the Dickson/ Hickman County areas. I am also willing to take dogs to appointments/dog parks in my car so I am versatile and mobile. I try my hardest to be flexible with my schedule to be available at different times as much as possible. No dog is too small or too big. No dog is too young or old. Trust me to take care of your dog care needs. Please note I don't mind dropping in to help with cats and walking cats also. Just due to allergies I cannot have them in my own home. I work from home and my husband and I are home most nights and weekends. So, he will be around your animals as well in our home. Any drop in visits and walking I will be handling myself. We have two (female) dogs of our own who require medications and extra care. So, we are familiar with routines for dogs with special needs/ requests as well. I have also had dogs in my care from newborn puppies to senior dogs. So, I am used to furry friends of all ages and sizes. In home we have two (female) dogs of our own who get along great with other dogs. Our home offers a fenced in back yard so dogs can hangout outside or inside. There are various dog beds throughout and an extra room to allow for personal space, alone, and quiet time. Going to other's homes I stay mindful of a dog's or cat's space and preferences, as well as clients personal property. I also have access to nearby dog parks and I live in a neighborhood where I can walk dogs for extra exercise as well.

I've also had extensive experience caring for cats. I'm currently in between jobs, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends. I’ve grown up with various breeds of dogs and have cared for friends rescue dogs, as well. I live in a townhome with some fun open space in the loft to play and run around! She is great playing with other dogs and I’ve never known her to be aggressive with other humans or dogs. I have a crate available if you prefer for your fur baby to be crated during the night or at any time. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but have safe walking paths around where I live and walk my own pup! I am also available to come to your own home to care for your pup, take them on walks, play around, get some good love and attention! I am also available for overnights with your pet if you prefer them staying in your own home or residence.

About: I grew up on a farm most my life. I have taken care of all kinds of animals. From dogs and cats, to cows and bunnies. I was in FFA all through high school and I focused a lot of time on animals. I watched the neighbors animals for 3 years. I can do just about anything you need me to do. My family adopted B.B. when we were both four years old, and we grew up together exploring the woods around our Mississippi home. As a Jack Russell, he was only about 15 pounds, but he was scrappy, incredibly smart, and I knew he would protect me from anything we encountered on our adventures. He was my best friend and companion through an unpredictable and often stressful childhood, and he looked out for me until he passed away at nearly 20 years old. Now I try to give the same patience, attention, and companionship B.B. gave me back to the pets I care for. The first pet I took care of besides B.B. was a Weimaraner belonging to my neighbor that I began dog sitting at the age of nine until I was a teenager. Since I first began dog sitting over 15 years ago, I have cared for all creatures great and small from pet rats to dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and even horses for extended stays. I've cared for pets of all ages, ranging from puppies to seniors, including complex care requiring medicine to be given multiple times a day. One of my own cats, Sabbath, has feline lower urinary tract disease and requires two oral medicines which I give to him daily. My childhood adventures with B.B. instilled in me a lifelong passion for staying active and exploring nature through hiking. To this day I am an avid hiker, and I believe that B.B.'s active lifestyle is one of the factors that allowed him to live such a long, healthy life. Now I take my toy Australian shepherd, Andy, on these adventures and specialize in exercising and socializing dogs on group hikes. I have experience hiking dogs as a pack of two or more up to eight dogs at one time (including multiple dogs over 100 pounds at one time). These pack hikes have proven to be physically, mentally, and socially enriching for my doggy clients, especially recurrent pack hikers. They love the new sights, new smells, and playtime with other dogs. I am a flexible, full-time sitter, and I am currently available any day of the week for one-time or recurrent dog walking/hiking, drop-in visits, or overnight house-sitting until slots begin to fill up! For walks and hikes, I always bring plenty of water for myself and the dogs along with other necessities including waste bags, a first-aid kit, and, if needed, paw protection. When caring for pets in their own homes, I work with pet parents to try to keep their pets' routines as consistent as possible, adding in walks and playtimes as needed, to ensure they are just as comfortable as when their parents are home. I teach English online and make my own schedule so I am very flexible and free to pet sit when and where I want. Since I work from home, I will be able to hang out with your pet lots! First of all, I want to spend time with your pet(s)! I prefer not to leave them alone for an extended period, no more than 3-4 hours, so rest assured - they will receive lots of attention! While caring for your pet(s) in your home, I will keep a close eye on them so no mischief ensues! I will closely follow whatever guidelines/safety precautions you set forth and typically adhere to. About: I’ve taken care of dogs from the moment I can remember. I grew up with my mom being a dog walker and going with her to every house to help her. Not only that but we’d watch tons in our own home while the owners were home on top of having two of our own forever. Once I moved to college I began doing it on my own for a bit.
