About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2016, I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile so that I can care for dogs in my home, or care for cats and dogs in your home. When I care for dogs in my home, they are treated as family. No crates, just cuddles. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I can take care of your pups in my home while you are away. No crates, just cuddles. I'm also available to come to your home to care for your pets, whether for daily walks or around-the-clock care. I care for cats as well as dogs. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I have a fenced-in yard area. I will never leave your pups in the yard alone. I always sit with them. I can take them for daily walks as well. I don't use crates/kennels in my home. Your pet will be treated as my two Maltese dogs are.

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, caring for multiple breeds including dachshunds, chocolate lab, beagle mixes, Doberman, Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and mini schnauzer. About: I have been around dogs since I was a very young child. Most of the dogs we have had in our family have been rescues and in need of a new home for some various reason. Growing up I watched my father train our dogs through all kinds of things like potty training, walking on a leash and learning how to be around cats and other animals. There was always a lot of love, respect and patience towards the animals. As an adult I’ve always had a dog of my own and we have a very active life! I have worked with professional trainers in the past as well to help learn training techniques for my own dog! I have a two part time jobs that I love and luckily give me a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Both of my jobs require me to be performing and on a microphone so I have been hoping to find a way to work more but also be out of a loud crowded environment and at peace. What better way than outdoors in nature with dogs! I do have a dog of my own and we have a pretty great routine, I feel confident that I could spend plenty of time with him and add some time in for some other fur friends! I believe in a safe and controlled space for my dog, always trying to keep a clean and peaceful environment. I make my dog Duffy’s food at home, trying to give him only the best quality that I can! He is a very active breed so we take multiple walks a day, he loves car rides, hikes, playing ball and laying outside on a patio watching over his surroundings. I know what works for us but I know each dog has its own unique personality and routine and I would love to know what works best for you and your pet!

About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I'm happy to take on summer holidays or help with mid-day walks, etc. I love to let animals spend their time outside in a safe way, either with a fence or on a leash. My home includes two kitty cats and one medium-sized gentle doodle who enjoys playing and snoozing depending on what your dog enjoys. :)
