“Our husky loves Carly! She is so wonderful, always communicative and sends great updates. Follows our directions to a T. We always feel safe knowing Carly is coming to take care of our dog (or chickens or guinea pig, if needed!).”

About: Hi, my name is Hannah! I am 30 years old and currently a full time mama to one, and dog mama of 2! We have a goldendoodle, and a Great Pyrenees.I've been around many dogs(all breeds) and I've cared for them as well. I believe in caring for pets just like they are my own. I love spending time with them, playing, and just giving them the unconditional TLC(tender loving care) that every animal deserves. I've had experience with giving dogs medication on a time schedule, walking and running, overnight stays, keeping shoes on pets where they did not scratch the owners floors, and mostly making sure pets are safe at all times and that they have plenty of food and water available. I consider myself to be a reliable and trustworthy person who takes pride in her work. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a stay-at-home parent. Since I’m already on a consistent schedule with my toddler—feeding times, outdoor walks, and playtime—it’s easy to integrate caring for pets. If I’m caring for a pet in a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own home. I follow the client’s instructions to the letter—whether that’s feeding, playtime, cleaning litter boxes, or administering meds. I send updates and photos so they feel confident their pet is in good hands. Cleanliness and reliability are very important to me, especially when entering someone else’s space.
“Really Love Dogs and are patient with new clients. My Neptune loves her. I can tell in the pictures he is having fun. My Neptune took to her immediately. He waits for her by the window. Like she is the walkie fairie”

About: I've had dogs most of my life and handled every dog emergency there is. I have kind and gentle nature and have lot's of experience both pups that have endless energy and older dogs that need a little more help. I work part time from home helping women who are caring for their parents so I'm very flexible and can often even change my schedule to fit yours. I feel strongly that the advantage of having pet care in your home is that they get to keep their routine! So my rule is follow instructions while making sure they feel safe and loved.
About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up around dogs, and cats. I love being with animals. I was always the one that my family or friends called when they needed someone to walk, feed or bathe their pets when out of town or stuck at work longer than expected. I currently have 3 large dogs, a female German Shepard mix, a male brindled mutt,a yr old male German Shepard. I also have 2 very chatty orange tabby cats. All of which are rescues. I’m currently working part time from home, so I have all the time to care for your pets! I am free to house sit, take your pups for a walk during the day or even just pop in to check in on them. Nothing is as nice as being able snuggle with your furry ones. I want to be able to help you by taking care of your pets as if they were my own. Be assured they will get all the pets and snuggles while you are gone. I will follow the owner’s routine as closely as possible. If the pets are use to sleeping the room with you, I do not mind staying in the room with them if you prefer, otherwise the guest room is perfectly fine.
About: I have been caring for dogs my entire life, and growing up my father was a dog trainer so have lots of experience in dog care and training. I also worked in veterinary medicine for 6 years and have lots of veterinary knowledge. I worked in an emergency clinic for over a year and would be able to handle any emergency that could occur. I also have experience with puppies and with senior/special needs animal care. I have pets of my own and always love taking them on walks and would love to be able to do that for other peoples pets as well. I have a very open schedule as long as I know in advance. I am free most days and have very open availability through the day. I always try and learn what the pet(s) are used to and attempt to emulate that. Pets can be protective in their home so I always try and make them as comfortable as possible.
“Chloe responded to me super quick and was able to walk my puppy for me even though I requested her like 24 hours before I needed her! She was super friendly and sent me lots of pics of my girl and was so loving towards her! I would definitely ask her to help out again!”

About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2007. I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile. I’m available for Drop-In visits or House Sitting. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I’m not taking care of pets in my home, but I can come to you; Drop-Ins and House Sitting. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I can come to you, Drop-Ins or House Sitting. About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, caring for multiple breeds including dachshunds, chocolate lab, beagle mixes, Doberman, Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and mini schnauzer. I have hands-on experience providing end-of-life care for a senior dog with osteosarcoma, demonstrating compassion and patience in difficult situations. Currently, I care for a 5-year-old neutered Doberman and an 8-year-old spayed Mini Schnauzer. My work-from-home schedule allows me a flexible schedule for your pet’s supervision. This deep personal experience, combined with my flexible availability ensures professional and cozy care tailored to each dog's needs. I ensure that all dogs are treated with love and respect. Letting them know they’re safe and that everything is okay while their humans are away is of utmost importance to me.
“Alesha is my pups other mother. Sake is almost 17, so she needs extra reassurance that she is safe since her eyesight is fading. Alesha walks my dog regularly, but also stepped in as mom for two months last year when I was on a place every 4 days. Her love and compassion is why she is my go to person to take care of my best friend. Knowing that you have someone to love your pet as much as you do is important. I can travel for work knowing that Sake is in good hands.”
About: I have three pups of my own, (Roosevelt, 6 year old border collie, Sadie B, 5 year old dalmatian mix, and Chewbacca, 1 year old Carolina dog.) They are all rescues. I adore them, they are my babies. I would have many more if I had a farm and could talk my husband into it. I visit dog shelters regularly and become familiar with all the pups. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pups when you go out of town. Please contact me with your pet sitting needs. Thanks "Every once in awhile a dog enters your life and changes it." "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself." "Be the person your dog thinks you are"

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
