I love walks, playing fetch, and cuddling always! I have a 10 year old son who is obsessed with doggies and can keep them busy and active for hours (if allowed)! We are big explores, and would love to take your first babies to the park, hikes, or a quick run to Starbucks for a pup-cup. I have a job that doesn’t consist of a certain schedule. Therefore, mornings and days are always a go for me. Night works as well :) I will care for your pets like they are my own. I respect and follow all rules and regulations you give and will have a great time doing so.I will always ask permission before anything involving your babies, and keep you posted with pictures and text through the stays.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life but I’ve worked with dogs professionally for about a year now. I work at dog training and boarding facility in a few different roles. I’ve been a trainer, kennel technician, bather, as well as in the office scheduling boarding stays for our pups! I’d love to care for more dogs after work! I’m good at it and I enjoy it so much! I currently work 8am to 4pm. But I have plenty of time to spend with your pup after work! We can go for walks, go to the park or have a bath and get cleaned up! I can come to you home and care for your dog there or I can pick them up, take them out for some fun to get some energy out, and bring them back home safe and sound. I can crate them in my SUV for easy and safe transport.

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, caring for multiple breeds including dachshunds, chocolate lab, beagle mixes, Doberman, Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and mini schnauzer. Currently, I care for a 5-year-old neutered Doberman and an 8-year-old spayed Mini Schnauzer. My fenced yard and work-from-home schedule allow me to offer near-constant supervision and exercise. Since I work from home, taking care of dogs fits perfectly into my day. I’m able to check in on them frequently, give them plenty of breaks and playtime, and keep an eye on them all day long. I make sure they get regular exercise in the fenced yard and lots of affection between work tasks. Because I’m home almost 24/7, I can easily adjust my schedule to fit each dog’s unique needs and routines, making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away. When dogs stay with me, I make sure they feel right at home. I give them plenty of time to play and relax in my fenced yard, and I stick to their regular feeding and potty schedules so things feel familiar. Since I work from home, I’m around a lot to give them attention, take breaks, or just hang out. If I’m caring for a pet at their own home, I follow the owner’s instructions exactly and treat their space with respect. My goal is to keep every dog happy, comfortable, and safe no matter where they are.

About: Hi! My name is Shayna. I am 29 years old and have been living in Dickson for over 18 years. I am always looking to build connections within my town and my favorite way to do that is through animals! I am happily married with a beautiful daughter, and we currently have 3 dogs and 3 cats. I also foster dogs from time to time! (We currently do NOT have any fosters, but I will be sure to update or inform you if that changes). I have had pets for all of my life, all varying from pocket pets all the way to large animal. My number one priority is the happiness and safety of your pets and I have no breed restrictions, but I do ask that you notify me ahead of time if your pet has any quirks or behavioral issues that would require additional time or care. I can also provide grooming services! I have 10 years of experience as a veterinary nurse where I have gained an abundance of knowledge in medical care and animal husbandry. I have rescued, bottle fed, and helped to place multiple pets in their forever homes. I would love to create a custom plan for your pup(s) as I understand the importance of making them comfortable and keeping them on a schedule that works for everyone, so please send me a brief message when you reach out to book giving me a general idea of what your needs are and a little info on your pup so I can get to know them. I typically respond very quickly and I look forward to hearing from you!! I am currently available any day during the week at most times of the day, however I do have an elementary school aged child that will require me to pick her up in the afternoons unless I have arranged ahead of time for alternate childcare, which is why I ask for at least a day's notice for booking, but I can usually work in same day pets as well. Having a new person entering the home can be stressful to some pets, so I always make sure to have treats and a calm demeanor when meeting new friends. I am confident in my ability to read body language and help your pet feel the most comfortable when in my care. **Boarding** (Currently very small scale as we are still setting up our boarding area) I understand that every fur baby is different and I want to insure all of the pups are as relaxed as possible. I keep our pups separated from new friends until I know for sure your pup and ours are comfortable enough for interaction. I have a fully fenced yard with a doggy door so they can come and go as they please, as long as the weather is nice. **House-sitting** I am only available on the weekends due to having a child I must get to school during the week, but I am available on the weekends when someone else can be home with her. I will happily stay at your house and take care of your pets and your home. You won't even be able to tell I was there!
