About: I’ve taken care of hundreds of dogs over the past 2 years, all of different ages and sizes, with different needs. From walking, transporting, playing, supervising playtime, cuddling, cleaning, and assisting those in need, I am capable of doing just about anything you need for your fur baby. About: Hi! Before moving to Tennessee, I lived at a 35-dog professional racing kennel on the North Shore of Minnesota. Needless to say, I am passionate about dogs, and critters of all kinds for that matter! I am well-versed in medication delivery, first-aid, temperamental pets, unique feeding preferences, and just about anything else you could throw at me. I work from home with flexible hours! I am a notorious early bird and I’m more than happy to spend as much time as possible with your baby. I am eager to learn your exact care preferences to make sure your pet barely notices you’re gone! About: I have taken care of dogs since I was nine. In the past three years I’ve recently become a cat mom and now have 12 cats on my own with my fiancé. We live on a farm and we’ve been using the 11 acres we have to offer homes to pets that need new environments or random cats we found and neutered in the local stray colony. Through this process I’ve learned a lot about veterinary animal care, from getting care for small cuts and abrasions to CPR to recovering from surgery and so much more. I have cared for cows and horses, though it has been a few years so I would need a refresher course. I love animals and I love caring for them and would love to care for yours as well. I’m currently working from home as a freelancer. My schedule and time are very flexible as I can work from pretty much anywhere with the Wi-Fi signal. I do occasionally have work calls throughout the day, but nothing that usually disrupts any feeding schedule. I have a lot of experience of caring for pets in other people’s homes/ as I’m house sitting at the same time. As I have a home filled with animals, it seems to an environment that might be overwhelming to some pets. I have a lot of experience with animals that need medical attention as I have taken care of many strays. I can handle pretty much any age level from kitten to senior cat, from puppy to senior dog, etc. When I housesit, I usually clean the entire place, including the bathroom and kitchen areas unless otherwise requested. Of course, cleaning any litter boxes needed as well as general tidying, such as vacuuming or sweeping.

About: I grew up on a farm caring for all kinds of animals so if you’re looking for a diversified animal sitter I’m your guy. On the farm I gained experience working with and caring for dogs and cats from birth to elderly. I’m a personal trainer in Nashville Tn on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you’re located in town I’m available to drop in periodically on those days and am available around the clock on all other days. If you’re outside of Nashville it may be as long as 8 hours that I’m away on M,W,F but I’m available around the clock on all other days. As an in home pet sitter I try to replicate the same schedule, play time, attention and care that your pets are accustomed to in order to reduce their stress while you are away.

Overall, I was pleased with the care of my home. The care of the pups was lackluster. I found poop and pee in the cage, on the rug by the garage and through the yard. Water bowls were empty in the bedroom, outside and cage. Based on the photos from the garage and the doorbell, frequency of care visits were not as requested (about 4-5 hours apart). These are senior pups and one with issues with her hind legs which also impacts her ability to squat. Overall, as I said, I was happy to leave and know someone was looking after them. I just wish my expectations and the care were more aligned.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
