I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I’m usually home with my fur babies unless I have to run errands. I might be gone up to 4 hours. When boarders are in my home I try to stay with them more until comfortable. Then if they are social can introduce my pack and slowly meet one by one. Eventually everyone will be able to be out and play. I have a fenced in front yard and fur babies to play with your pets. We have a variety of temperaments and ages, based on your pups body language I would probably have the right fit for them :) or they can also have alone time and be rotated out to avoid other dogs. About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: I’ve taken care of animals for 20 years now . I’ve owned my own dogs all my life and currently have two as well! I love all dogs and cats . I’ve never had any issues with either breed neither! I’m currently working part time after my full time jobs so 5:00 pm to whatever time Sunday - Friday and Saturday I can work all day. I treat everyone’s fur babies like I would want mine to be treated! My two are very spoiled. Me and your fur baby will sit and play for hours at a time if I could!!
