About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: Growing up I have always been around animals. From farm to household pets, I have been around and taken care of just about everything. Duties include but not limited to: walks, bathing, feeding, overnight stay, extended stay, et cetera. Most available during the day for walks as needed or even as simple as checking up on your favorite loved one. As for overnights, the little homies are gonna be comfy as once they find their own little spot. I do my best to care for pets as similar as their owner would. Same mannerisms, disciplining or any other methods that work best with said pet.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 20 years. My experience was with a very active Golden Retriever and now we have a 5 year old “drent” Drentse Patrijshond. I work from home with flexibility to care for your pet. My wife is also available to help me with our pets in the evening and weekends. I have a very friendly “Drent” Ryder who loves being around other dogs. Ryder is very mellow and loves to hang on the couch. We will care for your pet just like our own!

About: Hi! I am an animal lover since childhood, I work full-time as a therapist, and for years, I have done pet sitting on the side. I have a townhome I take pride in that is located in Bellevue (near Edwin Warner Park) with a small back patio and no pets or children in the home. I would love to offer a safe space for your pet. I have a partner who lives in the home and also loves animals, and she is available to take care of any pets I watch, as well. I do ask that any pets I care for are up-to-date with their shots, vet care, medical-grade tick prevention (and you can provide proof), and I am not comfortable caring for pets that bite or scratch. I really hope to connect with you soon! : ) Brooke I am home most of the time, and I am currently working mostly from my home office except on Wednesdays when I work in my therapy office in Crieve Hall. I will defer to my partner for some scheduling needs on Wednesdays. I make sure I have a clean, serene and non-stressful environment for pets I watch in my home. I will let your pet sleep in the bed if they want, walk your pet, feed your pet, play with your pet, and I will give it as much (or as little) affection as it needs! No other animals or children reside in my home at this time.

About: I have always had a deep passion for animals, which began in childhood when I was thrilled to be old enough to walk my grandparents’ dogs. For the past four years, I’ve also had the joy of being a cat mom, which has further strengthened my appreciation for the love and care that pets bring into our lives. In addition to my personal experience, I have over two years of professional pet care experience, including dog walking, drop-in visits, and administering specific care and medical instructions. I am comfortable working with both low-energy and high-energy dogs, and I always tailor my care to meet each pet’s unique needs. Pet care fits seamlessly into my schedule, as I am off work at 2 p.m. each day and have the remainder of my day available to dedicate to walking or caring for your pet. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 10 years, so caring for them is second nature to me. From daily walks to long hikes, I understand their energy, needs, and personalities. Spending time outdoors with dogs has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to keep them safe, happy, and stimulated. I am currently a self-employed seamstress, and work part time for my dad’s business Bham Services. I have lots of time and availability to care for your pets as well as mine. I know it can make our babies nervous meeting new people/furry friends so I make sure to keep a gentle approach. I’ll have them sniff me and get to know me as I get to know them as well. I’m very aware of my surroundings and always want any animal to feel safe around me.

About: I've had dogs most of my life and handled every dog emergency there is. I have kind and gentle nature and have lot's of experience both pups that have endless energy and older dogs that need a little more help. I work part time from home helping women who are caring for their parents so I'm very flexible and can often even change my schedule to fit yours. I feel strongly that the advantage of having pet care in your home is that they get to keep their routine! So my rule is follow instructions while making sure they feel safe and loved.

About: I have been around cats and dogs most of my life. Had mostly larger breed dogs. Two Weimaraner‘s, a black lab, and a Rottweiler. Had a cat for about 10 years growing up. My son has a Great Pyrenees that I went with him to pick up when he was only two months old and he is now a year and a half. I walk my sons dog two times a day at minimum while he is working. I do travel some, but otherwise I will be home. Retired and ready to walk. I always wash, and clean water bowls, food bowls when adding new food. Put on calming music for the dog as well to ease them.

About: I have had a dog since I was 10. I have dog sat for many friends for years. I have worked with shelters for many years and with rescue dogs. I’d love to dog sit while my job is slower and on weekends. When our team is on the road I’d love to give some love to your fur babies! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies for quite a few years. From fostering, to helping neighbors and friends, I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and have taken great care of each and every one of them. I treat them like apart of the family! :) and I also have a lot of patience, and care for all animals. I currently have some flexibility during the day with my full time job, which allows me to pay attention, spend more time with animals and dogs! And to go on walks, go get plenty of exercise, and to keep all of these dogs great company to make them feel safe! I live in a very quiet neighborhood and live in a house and have access to lots of trails and grass areas! I have watched love to be around me and feel safe. I always let the dogs stay with me in my room, and whatever the client prefers- I am always flexible. I have this indescribable love for dogs, so just know your dog will always be cared for like it was my own! I have flexibility in my days to let the dog out every few hours, and not be gone too much of the day! And to spoil and love them as much as I can. I have a house, where there is access to trails and plenty of grass areas and walking areas and a small backyard! Our two dogs here are so friendly and love having visitors :)

About: I’ve taken care of hundreds of dogs over the past 2 years, all of different ages and sizes, with different needs. From walking, transporting, playing, supervising playtime, cuddling, cleaning, and assisting those in need, I am capable of doing just about anything you need for your fur baby. (Worked at Greymont kennel services and Chasing Tail Pet Farm, have done pet sitting off of rover, and have owned multiple dogs of different age/size, with different limitations) I have a very flexible schedule, but I do have to be available for school drop off and pick up. (0700 then again at 1500) In your home, your pets comfort and safety are a top priority, as is respecting your space. Your home will always be left as it was found if not better, and your pets won’t be lonely with me around!

About: I love to care for dogs and have watched ages from puppies to senior dogs. I have also done many drop in visits to feed or give medication. I am currently enrolled in school full time so it fits into my routine perfectly with not having to work different jobs while in school.
