“Millie has a new best friend in Samantha, who showered her with love and attention while we were away! We got frequent updates and happy pictures throughout the stay, and I swear that dog was smiling!!!”

“This was the first time our dog, Piper, had ever stayed overnight with anyone other than family, so we weren't quite sure how she'd do, but Sharon is clearly a dog lover who put Piper (and us) right at ease! From the daily pics Sharon kindly sent us, we could tell that Piper was settling in quickly with Sharon and felt right at home curled up next to her & happily exploring Sharon's nice back yard, which greatly helped us to enjoy our trip more knowing how content Piper was and how well she was being cared for. Highly recommend leaving your precious pet in the care of Sharon, who is caring, flexible, and a good communicator....we'd love for Piper to stay with her again sometime!”

“Lia & Jacob were amazing in every way in their care for Blue!! From their flexibility to their communication and all of the love, I could not have asked for a better home-away-from-home for Blue. I highly recommend them and will definitely reach out again for Blue's next stay!”

“Moneissa really does a great job at making both pet and parent feel comfortable! As someone who always feels uneasy leaving their dog with someone else, I was fully confident my dog was in great care with Moneissa. If you love solid updates and reassurance, she is the sitter for you! Eevee had so much fun during her stay and will be visiting again!”

“Very communicative and accommodating to my Emile who I don't leave alone very often. Pictures kept me at ease too that Emile was in good hands and will definitely be booking with Gina again if I need a sitter again in the future!”

“Serenity has been an incredible dog sitter for our senior dog, Molly. She watches her for extended periods and always provides the most loving, safe, and comfortable environment while we’re away. Molly has elderly-dog needs, and Serenity is so patient, attentive, and accommodating to them. It gives us such peace of mind knowing Molly is so well cared for and genuinely loved in our absence. We are beyond thankful for Serenity and highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate pet care!”

“Ritch and his family were absolutely spectacular to deal with. Not only were they accommodating of some last minute setbacks on my end, but they went above and beyond to ensure that Jasper was happy and taken care of when he was feeling a little under the weather. Really looking forward to dealing with Ritch and his family again.”
“Ariana was awesome! Sent pictures of Yona with her Aussies daily! I could tell Yona had such a great time! I would definitely recommend Ariana to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup! Thanks so much Ariana!”

“We had a 10/10 Rover experience with Marissa! She was super easy to coordinate with and we could tell that she took the best care of Eddie. He was so sleepy when we brought him home from playing with her pup all weekend! We will definitely be calling her again.”

“My pup has never been so at home! She didn’t even want to leave and as soon as she did come home with me she barked me back to the car to take her back to Ute. Ute is wonderful and really went above and beyond to make sure my girl was well taken care of.”
“Max stayed for over 2wks with Jennifer and Michael. They sent me pictures regularly and Max came back with as much energy as he was dropped off with…so I know he was played with plenty. It was great getting pictures of him with all the other dogs. He’s normally the only dog at home, so I know he loved playing with the other dogs while he was there. It was great to see him pulled in as part of their family while we were gone.”

“Jonathon did a great job taking care of Zeema. He communicated every night and Zeema seemed to be very comfortable with him. I will be calling Jonathon the next time I need to go out of town.”

“I had Pluto stay for 6 nights, and this was my first time on a trip without Pluto, but Madeline was very accommodating and made sure that he got the love he needs! I had no worries during my trip that he was getting good quality time. She sent pictures and updates daily. Would definitely recommend her to others and would be happy to have him stay again!”

“Rosie loved her stay with Natalie! Natalie made us feel super comfortable and was very responsive. We loved the photos and getting to hear about Rosie’s stay! Rosie got the royalty treatment- including movie nights on the couch with cuddles! We will definitely be using Natalie again the next time we pass through Nashville. Highly recommended.”

“Trish rules! She took the best care for my dog when i was out of town, was super communicative, and sent photos every day. My dog and I are so happy, I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks again!”

About: I'm newly home all day and want to help out folks who need someone who will truly care for their furry friend. I'm a dog lover and have two rescued doodles. They are both dog, cat, and kid friendly and can't wait to make new friends! My dogs get one walk a day, plus potty breaks in our yard, as needed. This is how I take care of our Rover friends, too. I do more walks when the Nashville weather isn't scorching! My priority is to provide the care that your dog needs. I have a fenced-in backyard and love all doggos. I can't wait to meet you!
“I was so anxious using Rover for the first time, but Remy absolutely LOVED her time with Karen! She sent us lots of pics and videos of our girl looking so happy. This was so important to us because Remy doesn’t do well with strangers. Now we know Remy has a home away from home! So grateful! ❤️”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
