About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have been in my life as long as I can remember. Pets are my passion and caring for them is my purpose. I’m currently based in Nashville and will be relocating to the Owensboro/Utica area in December. I’ll have availability for pet-care services in October and November, with more flexibility once I’m back in Kentucky. My home is located on approximately 50 acres in the beautiful countryside of Utica, offering pets plenty of space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in a peaceful setting. I live in an apartment, so frequent walks are vital to keep him exercised and entertained. We do have a small dog park in the complex. I love taking Lakota to Ellington Ag. Center because it backs right up to the complex and has great walking trails. His best friend’s name is Alfie who lives in the neighborhood and I take him a few days a week to my apartment and the little dog park here to play with Lakota. We also enjoy going to the Pitts Park dog park or Edwin Warner.

About: Growing up I have always been around animals. From farm to household pets, I have been around and taken care of just about everything. Duties include but not limited to: walks, bathing, feeding, overnight stay, extended stay, et cetera. Most available during the day for walks as needed or even as simple as checking up on your favorite loved one. As for overnights, the little homies are gonna be comfy as once they find their own little spot. I do my best to care for pets as similar as their owner would. Same mannerisms, disciplining or any other methods that work best with said pet.

About: Hey! If you have an active or athletic dog, you've found the right person. Growing up, my family and I raised two dogs from puppies to adults. I liked to take them hiking, running, swimming in the lake, and to the park regularly. I currently have a five year old treeing walker coonhound who I regularly walk and play enrichment activities with! I'm currently working part-time on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to take your pups on adventures! About: Experienced caring for dogs of various sizes and personalities, including walking, feeding, playtime, supervision, comfort during storms, and managing excitement with patience which is fun!! When I pet sit we start with food in the morning. I usually will take the dog for a walk and enjoy the scenery. After we get water both of us because we need to stay hydrated! The dog will usually take a nap in that time. Then after the movie we play! But it really depends on the dog either way we have a very fun time! If you and the dog are having fun then that’s all that matters. Then we do it all over again the next day. I think that a human connection and bond with a dog is very important. You need to establish trust with the owner and the dog. As for safety of the dog I take that very seriously. If the dogs feels scared I like to comfort them. Food safety is also important especially when in comes to dogs. If anything happens first I would call the owner then the vet immediately. A dogs safety and life is my first priority. I also know when something’s off about a dog. If a dog is shaking or the nose is dry. Sudle signs like that can definitely indicate if a dog is in immediate danger.

About: I've taken care of many different types of animals since I was 10 years old. I have recently watched my neighbors dogs for weeks on end. I have a great joy for animals and feel they bring me as much if not more joy than I might them. I’m a teacher, so I have fairly flexible hours and have the majority of the evening to take your dog on long walks. I'm an early riser so I can always take them out as early as desired.
