Drop off and pick up: ***All dogs must be on a leash at drop off as we have free range chickens on the property. All dogs will be on a leash at pick up to load into your car. Drop off and pick up hours 8 am-10 am and 4-6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon between dog parents and host. Please notify us if you are going to be late and how late. Fees may apply for late drop off or pick up. New clients: If this is your first time staying at Autumn Valley Dog Retreat, we require a meet and greet within 3 days of your booking request. If the M&G is not completed the request may be cancelled. If your requested stay is longer than a weekend for first time guest, we may request a client paid overnight trial before confirming a week or longer. Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request! We are a family of four with 2 beagles who will love and care and exercise your pups. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company. We will crate sleep the visiting dogs at night.

About: I’m a homeowner with a huge fenced in backyard. I WFH so potty breaks and play time is not a problem. I have a 70lb golden retriever who loves to play. I take my own dog for a minimum of two walks a day. Most days I get out three or four times. I have a huge fenced in backyard for in between walks. I have a very sweet 5 year old golden who loves other dogs. I have experimented caring for super young all the way to end of life care for senior dogs.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and horses most of my life and just generally enjoy their company. I am familiar w administering meds, adept at noticing issues and detail oriented. I am available full time during the week at my home and can do morning and evening drop-ins as well. Overnight stays are available as well. I have a fenced in yard, a pool for those that like to swim. A large area for running when weather permits. My home includes two kitty cats and one medium-sized gentle doodle who enjoys playing and snoozing depending on what your dog enjoys. :)

About: I have been volunteering at a dog shelter for the past 4 years and it has been wonderful, I got to indulge myself in the love and care for dogs, cats and other animals and i got to understand the love and attention they need. It made me realize how amazing animals are to us. I also eventually dog sit for multiple people, and dog walk around my neighborhood. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 5-5:30. As I am in school and im on the bowling team for school. I have two precious Cavapoo and they are super playful and they love company, if there is another dog at my house I typically take them out on a leash just for safety purposes. If there is anything else people would like me to do i would be understanding. Kennel, puppy pee pad, etc.

This has been my great joy. My home is pet friendly and pet safe. I understand how it feels to leave your beloved pets and I know how much it means to know that your sweet ones are feeling happy and well loved while you are away. I enjoy sending my clients pics of their pets during their stay. Providing secure accommodations and a fun place to stay is paramount. This is my absolute purpose, goal, and pleasure. Pet sitting is my only job. I am home all day. With your approval, your dogs will be free to enjoy inside or outside. I have a secure privacy fence and a pet door for easy access. Of course, if you prefer a more regimented potty break schedule and time outside, I am happy to oblige. I allow dogs to make themselves at home. Sitting on furniture is A-okay. (as long as you approve.) I will certainly respect your rules. I like our dog visitors to be comfortable, feeling safe and welcome. I have a ChiWeenie; who sleeps A LOT and keeps to herself mostly; however, she is friendly. I also have a very friendly and playful Jack Russell/Beagle mix who enjoys company. My yard is secure and fun. We also have patio furniture they can lounge on. I keep our upstairs access gated. Of course, I will follow your instruction in regard to their sleeping. I am happy to do a “meet and greet” prior to your scheduling.
