About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2016, I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile so that I can care for dogs in my home, or care for cats and dogs in your home. When I care for dogs in my home, they are treated as family. No crates, just cuddles. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I can take care of your pups in my home while you are away. No crates, just cuddles. I'm also available to come to your home to care for your pets, whether for daily walks or around-the-clock care. I care for cats as well as dogs. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I have a fenced-in yard area. I will never leave your pups in the yard alone. I always sit with them. I can take them for daily walks as well. I don't use crates/kennels in my home. Your pet will be treated as my two Maltese dogs are.

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, caring for multiple breeds including dachshunds, chocolate lab, beagle mixes, Doberman, Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and mini schnauzer. I have hands-on experience providing end-of-life care for a senior dog with osteosarcoma, demonstrating compassion and patience in difficult situations. Currently, I care for a 5-year-old neutered Doberman and an 8-year-old spayed Mini Schnauzer. My work-from-home schedule allows me a flexible schedule for your pet’s supervision. About: I would love to help you by providing care for your furry family members! I have worked at kennels and have been a dog owner for the past 8 years in addition to growing up with animals. I am very observant and will be very careful and mindful when looking after your pet(s)! I am available to dog sit, walk dogs, drop-in on weekends and offer walks and drop-ins in the evenings during the week. I am willing take your dog to the groomer, to a dog park if that is preferred, or I can just hang all day at the house with them! I am available to work through July during the week and weekend. About: I have taken care of animals most of my life i am new the Rover community but I do have kennel technician experience and dog bather experience along with drop by visits. I do have to walk or be driven by my mother since I don't have a license and or car because I have epilepsy and hydrocephalus. Despite my disabilities I am a very hard worker and always make sure the fur babies are safe and taken care of. I do have four dogs and a cat also. I have been around all sorts of dogs and or cats along with other animals so I don't scare easily and I am very patient with them. If you are willing to take a chance on me I will not let you down I wake up and take care of my five dogs as soon as I get up. Two of them take meds and I give it to them if my grandma doesn't do it for her two Goldens I let them outside feed them give them water give them their medicine and make sure they are taken care of. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I'm happy to take on summer holidays or help with mid-day walks, etc. I love to let animals spend their time outside in a safe way, either with a fence or on a leash. About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. About: I’ve had dogs in my life for over 10 years, so caring for them is second nature to me. From daily walks to long hikes, I understand their energy, needs, and personalities. Spending time outdoors with dogs has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to keep them safe, happy, and stimulated. I am currently a self-employed seamstress, and work part time for my dad’s business Bham Services. I have lots of time and availability to care for your pets as well as mine. I know it can make our babies nervous meeting new people/furry friends so I make sure to keep a gentle approach. I’ll have them sniff me and get to know me as I get to know them as well.
