About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. I enjoy going on long walks and hikes, and often take my dogs on hikes. I also enjoy a casual run, and I am happy to take dogs on runs as well! I just graduated from college, and I have a couple weeks available until I begin my job. I will start working as a Firefighter for the Franklin fire department on June 8. Once that starts, I will be available on most weekends and evenings to care for your pet! I am happy to walk or run your pet! I also offer pet-sitting. As a responsible student, with several years of families trusting me with babysitting, I can give you confidence that your home and pet will be cared for as if they were my own.
“Kaylene was amazing! My original Rover Walker bailed the first day. I was frantic! Kaylene responded quickly and was able to start the next day! Piper loved having Kaylene for walks every day. Informative notes, many pictures, and genuine care for our pup. Awesome service and just friendly and kind!!”

About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2016, I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile so that I can care for dogs in my home, or care for cats and dogs in your home. When I care for dogs in my home, they are treated as family. No crates, just cuddles. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I can take care of your pups in my home while you are away. No crates, just cuddles. I'm also available to come to your home to care for your pets, whether for daily walks or around-the-clock care. I care for cats as well as dogs. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I have a fenced-in yard area. I will never leave your pups in the yard alone. I always sit with them. I can take them for daily walks as well. I don't use crates/kennels in my home. Your pet will be treated as my two Maltese dogs are.
About: I have been a lifelong dog owner, caring for multiple breeds including dachshunds, chocolate lab, beagle mixes, Doberman, Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and mini schnauzer. I have hands-on experience providing end-of-life care for a senior dog with osteosarcoma, demonstrating compassion and patience in difficult situations. Currently, I care for a 5-year-old neutered Doberman and an 8-year-old spayed Mini Schnauzer. My work-from-home schedule allows me a flexible schedule for your pet’s supervision. This deep personal experience, combined with my flexible availability ensures professional and cozy care tailored to each dog's needs. Since I work from home, taking care of dogs fits perfectly into my day. I’m able to check in on them frequently and give them plenty of breaks and playtime. I make sure they get regular exercise and lots of affection between work tasks. Because I’m home almost 24/7, I can easily adjust my schedule to fit each dog’s unique needs and routines, making sure they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away. I ensure that all dogs are treated with love and respect. Letting them know they’re safe and that everything is okay while their humans are away is of utmost importance to me.
About: I’ve worked in a vet's office and taken care of pretty much all animals over the years. I grew up showing horses competitively on a small farm with chickens, ducks, cattle, rabbits, pigs, dogs, and cats. Since then I’ve owned and cared for miniature donkeys, standard poodles, Weimeraners, Dalmatians, cats, and chickens. As long as it’s not a reptile, I’m game. I love those who need something extra that your normal pet sitter may not be comfortable with - and I also love all the others who don’t need anything special! I have an extremely flexible schedule and can work around pretty much whatever you need. One thing’s for sure - I will be honest with you. If I can’t do it, I will tell you. I will come to your home and care for your pets just as you do! I don’t need a pre-visit (unless you would like that) - you can show me by FaceTime or you can leave me a note. I am also more than happy to have a pre-visit! I like to communicate with you while you’re away so you know how things are going at home.

About: Ever since I was little, I loved looking after animals big or small. I was the neighborhood kid to call if there was a need for pet care. I started at 10 doing as little as picking up poo from yards to growing up and staying over if the owner was out of town! I have experience with dogs, cats and yes fish at almost every stage of life. I have a long list of clients who would recommend me to look after your furry friend!! I am a part time employee at the moment so I have flexibility in my hours! Depending on the service needed I can make it work along with my schedule. I will be a local college student starting up in August but will continue to have an open schedule! I have a dog of my own and she is one of my top priority’s! When I stay at a clients home I ensure their furry friends have plenty of play and outdoor time. Walks are a non negotiable with my dog so I am very good with taking clients dogs out multiple times a day! Cats have the same priority, I ensure they have play time if that is up their alley or just a couch buddy! Every animal is different so I adjust accordingly!!
About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats the last 7 years. In a boarding and clinic environment. I have experience with every size dog and cat as well as medicine administration (oral or injection). I’m usually home with my fur babies unless I have to run errands. I might be gone up to 4 hours. When boarders are in my home I try to stay with them more until comfortable. Then if they are social can introduce my pack and slowly meet one by one. Eventually everyone will be able to be out and play. I have a fenced in front yard and fur babies to play with your pets. We have a variety of temperaments and ages, based on your pups body language I would probably have the right fit for them :) or they can also have alone time and be rotated out to avoid other dogs. I crate all my dogs at night before bed. I have cameras around my yard and outside the house for security as well.
About: I live with 3 dogs and two cats, which I take care of as if they were my children. I have looked after many dogs and cats, and you won’t be disappointed when choosing me to keep your pet as happy as possible while you are gone. I’m available every weekday except holidays. I am currently doing online college which I can take with me anywhere, including your house to be with your pets. I can feed, walk, and play with your dog as much as you need me to. I can handle unique circumstances such as diet restrictions and health issues.
About: I've loved and taken care of dogs & cats for a very long time...I'm very good with animals and they seem to love me! I've trained them also, with good results. Sadly, I have taken care of my animals as they got older. This is always difficult, but I have the compassion to ensure they have the best quality of life, while feeling loved. I have a fenced-in yard and can crate if necessary. Active dogs are a lot of fun, and I love playing with them. I'm retired and bored. I would love to help out with your precious animals. Almost always available but would need at least a day's notice. My wife and I also keep our family's pets during vacation times and emergencies. I have a fenced-in yard, and our house is well away from the main road, so no need to worry about them getting on the road. Our home has a walking trail in the woods if you think your pet would enjoy that. I take our dog, Toby for a long walk every morning.
About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years. I am currently on staff at my church right now as outreach and ministry team so my times I am unavailable are Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's after 5:00pm. I go to church on Sunday mornings but I can always watch virtually so I can tend to pets overnight. I care for animals as I would care for myself I believe in all life is precious and that any life created is family to me which most certainly includes pets. My approach comes from being gentle, reacting/reading body language, minding my emotions and actions because animals are sensitive to those, and just showering them with love the way THEY want to receive it not how I want to give it. It is their comfort and wellbeing over mine and I will do everything in my power to ensure a healthy environment for everybody's animals.

Since I work part-time, I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule and spend most days at home which means your pet gets lots of attention, playtime, and companionship. In my home, pets have a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of playtime, and a calm environment tailored to their needs. I follow your routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I'm happy to take on summer holidays or help with mid-day walks, etc. I love to let animals spend their time outside in a safe way, either with a fence or on a leash. I'm also happy to hang out indoors if the dog prefers, and ensure everything is taken care of!
About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up helping care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. My dad owns a farm, so I’m very comfortable around larger dogs, including our Bernese Mountain Dog and two German Shepherd mixes, while also caring for smaller breeds like my Yorkie. Over the years, I’ve helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and everyday care, so I’m confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog-sat multiple times for family friends, many of whom have continued to use my services year after year, which I believe speaks to my reliability and trustworthiness. In addition, I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including senior dogs and households with different types of animals, such as dogs and birds together. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’ve also grown up around animals my whole life, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and checking in on pets are already a normal part of my day. I enjoy being active and spending time outside, and I’m reliable when it comes to maintaining routines and making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and well attended to. Safety, trust, and comfort are the most important parts of pet care to me. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a calm and positive environment. I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, feeding instructions, and any special needs to help pets feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owners are away. I also understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I’m dependable, respectful, and communicative, and I always strive to treat every pet and home with care. Having experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and ages—including senior dogs—has taught me to be patient, attentive, and adaptable in different situations.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and breeds since I was 11. I have worked with senior dogs, puppies, and all the ages in between. I have 3 dogs of my own, as well as a gecko and fish. I have also worked with ducks/birds. I have worked with cats as well and love all of them!! I will be going into my freshman year of college at Lipscomb University, so I will have a lot of free time to see any and all animals! I always follow every rule provided about your animal. I know the importance of routine, comfort, and stability. I will ensure each pet gets the adequate exercise, food, and love desired by the owner.
About: I myself have a spunky 3 yr old border collie/shepherd mix. We have worked with a trainer to channel her high energy drive. Because of this, I have learned ways to overcome a lot of challenges dog owners face & how to build healthy bonds. With me, you wouldn’t be getting just a regular walk or play! We will learn cool things together & have so much fun while doing it 😎 In addition to my own current fur baby, I’ve owned two other pups as well as fostered back home in WI. I dog sit for friends, families, and neighbors. I treat your pups just as my own 🐶 I work M-F at home and have a very flexible work schedule as well as being completely free on weekends! I am able to do drop by visits and walks just about anytime you are needing! The same trust and care that my own receives is exactly what yours will too! I take great pride in ensuring all pups & homes are safe in my care.
