About: Hello! My name is Karen and I've been an avid and passionate animal lover my entire life. I have over 20 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Fog Rescue, and currently have two of my own dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. The space includes direct access to a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunity for outside! I am a full time remote employee, so I am here all the time. We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.

About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. I enjoy going on long walks and hikes, and often take my dogs on hikes. I also enjoy a casual run, and I am happy to take dogs on runs as well! I just graduated from college, and I have a couple weeks available until I begin my job. I will start working as a Firefighter for the Franklin fire department on June 8. About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

About: Dogs have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember, and my experience extends beyond Rover through years of caring for family and friends pets. I have experience with puppies, seniors, dogs with medical needs and a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have two dogs of my own who are complete opposites, one is a high energy working breed and the other is happiest relaxing on the couch. Caring for both has taught me that every dog has different needs and deserves an individualized approach. High energy dogs are absolutely welcome here and will have plenty of opportunities for both physical exercise and mental stimulation throughout their stay. Pet care is already built into my daily routine. I work from home from 8-4, which allows me to be available all throughout the day and provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, exercise, and attention as needed. I believe it’s far more important to adapt to a dog’s lifestyle rather than to force them to adapt to mine. If your dog has a specific routine, I am happy to maintain it during their stay. Safety is my highest priority when caring for each dog. I introduce dogs carefully if they have not already met, I monitor their interactions closely, and never leave dogs together unsupervised. If for some reason dogs are not a good match, I am comfortable keeping them separated and rotating them as needed so everyone gets the exercise, individual attention, and comfort they need. All dogs are fed separately in different rooms, and I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept at one time so I can provide appropriate supervision. My home has a fenced in yard, baby gates, crates, and multiple areas where dogs can safely relax or decompress. I am also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions.

About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I’m usually home with my fur babies unless I have to run errands. I might be gone up to 4 hours. When boarders are in my home I try to stay with them more until comfortable. Then if they are social can introduce my pack and slowly meet one by one. Eventually everyone will be able to be out and play. I have a fenced in front yard and fur babies to play with your pets. We have a variety of temperaments and ages, based on your pups body language I would probably have the right fit for them :) or they can also have alone time and be rotated out to avoid other dogs. I crate all my dogs at night before bed. I have cameras around my yard and outside the house for security as well.

We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.
