About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. I enjoy going on long walks and hikes, and often take my dogs on hikes. I also enjoy a casual run, and I am happy to take dogs on runs as well! I just graduated from college, and I have a couple weeks available until I begin my job. I will start working as a Firefighter for the Franklin fire department on June 8. Once that starts, I will be available on most weekends and evenings to care for your pet! I am happy to walk or run your pet! I also offer pet-sitting. As a responsible student, with several years of families trusting me with babysitting, I can give you confidence that your home and pet will be cared for as if they were my own.

About: I myself have a spunky 3 yr old border collie/shepherd mix. We have worked with a trainer to channel her high energy drive. Because of this, I have learned ways to overcome a lot of challenges dog owners face & how to build healthy bonds. With me, you wouldn’t be getting just a regular walk or play! We will learn cool things together & have so much fun while doing it 😎 In addition to my own current fur baby, I’ve owned two other pups as well as fostered back home in WI. I dog sit for friends, families, and neighbors. I treat your pups just as my own 🐶 I work M-F at home and have a very flexible work schedule as well as being completely free on weekends! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies for quite a few years. From fostering, to helping neighbors and friends, I have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and have taken great care of each and every one of them. I treat them like apart of the family! :) and I also have a lot of patience, and care for all animals. I currently have some flexibility during the day with my full time job, which allows me to pay attention, spend more time with animals and dogs! And to go on walks, go get plenty of exercise, and to keep all of these dogs great company to make them feel safe! I live in a very quiet neighborhood and live in a house and have access to lots of trails and grass areas! I have watched love to be around me and feel safe. I always let the dogs stay with me in my room, and whatever the client prefers- I am always flexible. I have this indescribable love for dogs, so just know your dog will always be cared for like it was my own! I have flexibility in my days to let the dog out every few hours, and not be gone too much of the day! And to spoil and love them as much as I can. I have a house, where there is access to trails and plenty of grass areas and walking areas and a small backyard! Our two dogs here are so friendly and love having visitors :)

About: I love animals, I have since as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in an animal household so understanding animals, communicating with them, and tending to them has become second nature. I have pet sat and helped handle animals at the Nashville Zoo as a volunteer during my high school years and have watched over friends, family, and neighbors animals for around a decade now. I know how important family is and how pets are family that just so happens to walk on four legs for all of their lives instead of just their infant years. I am currently on staff at my church right now as outreach and ministry team so my times I am unavailable are Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Friday's after 5:00pm. I go to church on Sunday mornings but I can always watch virtually so I can tend to pets overnight. I care for animals as I would care for myself I believe in all life is precious and that any life created is family to me which most certainly includes pets. My approach comes from being gentle, reacting/reading body language, minding my emotions and actions because animals are sensitive to those, and just showering them with love the way THEY want to receive it not how I want to give it. It is their comfort and wellbeing over mine and I will do everything in my power to ensure a healthy environment for everybody's animals.

About: I’ve worked in a vet's office and taken care of pretty much all animals over the years. I grew up showing horses competitively on a small farm with chickens, ducks, cattle, rabbits, pigs, dogs, and cats. Since then I’ve owned and cared for miniature donkeys, standard poodles, Weimeraners, Dalmatians, cats, and chickens. As long as it’s not a reptile, I’m game. I love those who need something extra that your normal pet sitter may not be comfortable with - and I also love all the others who don’t need anything special! I have an extremely flexible schedule and can work around pretty much whatever you need. One thing’s for sure - I will be honest with you. If I can’t do it, I will tell you. I will come to your home and care for your pets just as you do! I don’t need a pre-visit (unless you would like that) - you can show me by FaceTime or you can leave me a note. I am also more than happy to have a pre-visit! I like to communicate with you while you’re away so you know how things are going at home.

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. Friends have called on me to feed, walk and care for their dog on weekends. And I have worked professionally with dogs, cats and goats since 2017, having also been entrusted with bathing them and giving necessary medication. About: I trained my first dog as a puppy 14 years ago and then got another puppy in 2020 and trained it basic commands as well. I love all fur babies and am committed to providing the best care!
