“Susie is the absolute best. We use her every time we go out of town and it’s so wonderful to have peace of mind knowing your animals are safe and in good hands.”

“Maggie was great! Our girls looked so happy with every picture she sent! Maggie was great with keeping us up to date on all her drop in visits! Highly recommend because we will definitely use her often!”

“I cannot recommend Brittany enough! I have a cat with heart disease that requires a fairly strict medication routine, and I’m very hesitant about leaving him in the care of anyone else. I’m recently moved here from Missouri, and had to travel back this weekend. Brittany took such good care of my cat and it helped me relax and enjoy my time at home. I will definitely be using her again any time that I can in the future.”

“Thank you for all of your help! Your initial check in and information gathering visit was very nice and informative. Loved the detailed notes and pictures for every drop in visit and that our dogs loved you. It was a major help you were also able to help take care of our crested gecko!”

“Deborah was awesome! She took great care of our doggies. Which I appreciate very much. She sent pics and kept us informed. We have never left our doggies with a sitter before. I would highly recommend her for anybody looking for somebody that takes good care of their babies. Thanks again Deb. Quit.”

“Abigail was awesome!!!! She did 2 drop in visits a day for a week for my cat and he loved her. He usually takes a little bit to warm up to someone, but by day 2 or 3 he was curled up on her lap in a photo she sent. What a relief! So happy I chose her. She also made sure to visit first, before she accepted, which I couldn’t have been happier about. This way she got to meet me and my cat and get the lay of the land with where everything was. Not everyone on Rover offers that, that’s for sure. She even went above and beyond. I realized that after I left my front door lock was losing power, I was so nervous it was going to go out and there would be no way for her to get in before the week was up, so I told her where everything was and asked if she can change the batteries and she did it immediately. She did such a great job all around! I’ll definitely use her again.”

“We were very nervous leaving our sweet kitty for the first time and bringing a stranger into the home to watch him, but Kim was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so comfortable. She was always on time and sent hilarious photos promptly after visits. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our fur baby. Thank you, Kim!!”

“Jenna was great with Honeybee and I felt like she cared for her like she was her own! I also loved how detailed her notes were after every visit! We will definitely rebook her in the future!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing with our cats! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter while we were away. She went above and beyond - bringing in our packages, checking on our fish, and even offering to grab our mail. It gave us such peace of mind knowing everything at home was being cared for. Our cat, who usually hides from everyone, actually started coming out more with each visit - clearly, she felt comfortable with Heather! It’s safe to say we’ll definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!”

“Haley is our go-to pet sitter, and she always does an amazing job! This time was no exception she came by to check on our cat, and as always, she was kind, professional, and communicative. She has checked in on our kitty once before now, and we trust her completely to take great care of our fur baby. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care!”
“Alicia was wonderful in dropping in on our cats while we were gone on vacation. She has good communication and made sure that both cats were doing well in our absence, even taking the time to play with our attention seeking cat. Would recommend!”

About: My husband and I love dogs and grew up with dogs of our own! Now we have a 3 year old lovable olde English bulldogge who likes to play with friends! We have a dog door, fenced in yard, and good flexible work schedules. We spend lots of time at home and will give your pup the love and care they need while you’re away! I work 1-2 days hybrid a week and the rest in office. My husband works 8-3 and I work 8-4. We are home weekends. We have a dog door and spend our evening at home. We give lots of love and walks but your dog would have access to a safe outdoor area 24/7 with our tall wood shadow box fence. We have the most chill flexible dog so we can adapt our schedule to your pets needs. We treat every pet we meet like our own! We love dogs and spoil ours! We do train our pets and are good at working with others when needed. We do have a medium sized crate if needed for your dog but ours is not crate trained. We will follow whatever directions you leave us! We want your dog to feel at home whether in our home or yours.
About: Lived with cats my whole life and can help and adapt to whatever pet needs care. I’ve taken care of mostly cats and some dogs over the years. I work as a gig worker for Convention Production Rigging and I take jobs as they are given. Some of their jobs they give me may be last minute, but I will only take them if it doesn’t conflict with a booking. I have 2 cats at home and they live a very comfy life. We have an automatic litter box that I perform maintenance on when necessary, dry food always available and wet food at night. They have cat trees for climbing and plenty of soft seats and beds for resting.
About: Every dog is different, and I believe their care should be too. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and preferences so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. Whether your dog is playful, laid back, anxious, a puppy, or a senior, I’m happy to adjust my care to fit their individual needs. I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful, and I do everything I can to make the experience comfortable for both you and your dog. Whether you have a calm companion or a high-energy working breed that thrives on activity and engagement, I’m happy to tailor my care to fit their individual needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I never assume unfamiliar dogs will get along simply because they’re friendly. Introductions are done slowly, interactions are always supervised, and I’m happy to separate dogs whenever needed. Every dog deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and respected during their stay.
About: I adopted my first dog in 2015 and he’s been with me ever since! I also recently adopted a rescue Beagle who came from a testing lab in east tennessee! I’ve been a dog groomer for a little over year so I have experience with all types of breeds and ages! I currently work full time as a dog groomer with Thursday and Friday off so I’m fully available all day on those 2 days! I’m also available everything afternoon after work! I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and spoiled! As a full-time dog groomer, I’m experienced reading dog body language and making pets feel comfortable. I’ll stick to your pet’s normal routine, give them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and send lots of photo updates so you know they’re having a great time!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jameson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
