About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. Whether you have a Great Dane or a Pomeranian, I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. About: I have 5 dogs that are my kids. I am a stay at home dog mom. Your dog will be my dog while in my care. 4 are small and 1 medium sized. They are all fixed, UTD on shots and heart worm. All adopted from different states and shelters. They are between the ages of 10 and 12, and 1 senior who we believe is about 16. They are only crated at night if I go out for an extended period of time, except Charlie, the old man, he is out 24/7. We live on a half acre, fully fenced back yard (5 ft aluminum with puppy pickets). They can get on the furniture if they want and I have dog beds throughout the house. My dogs typically get on very well with other dogs. I dog sit 2 dogs in my home a few times a year for a few days to a week at a time. 1 medium and 1 large. I have fostered various dogs for Big Fluffy Dog Rescue in the past and I have helped and run adoption events at Petco for about a year for Simpson County Animal Shelter/Friends of the Shelter in Franklin KY. I am a stay at home dog mom. I can pet sit any time of the day or week, for just a few hours, a day or overnights. I only leave the house to go to the store or run a few errands. Typically not out for extended periods. If I am dog sitting, I prefer to be at home as often as possible. I am always around my dogs. I have dog beds in all areas of the house. I keep an eye on them when they go outside. I play with them regularly. When I get a new foster dog, I usually will keep them leashed for a little while until they get acclimated and used to the other dogs. You, my customer are more than welcome to come into my house and yard and meet myself, and my dogs.

We love to have our dogs Bertie and Chester near us wherever we are, indoors and outdoors. More recently, we have welcomed two incredible cats, Belle and Zesty, into our family as well. In my experience, having pets truly makes life better. I would welcome spending time with your pet, whether in your home or out on a walk, and would care for them as I would one of the pets in my own family. I am comfortable caring for active pets as well as seniors who are moving a little slower these days. I am taking some sabbatical time away from my full-time profession, so I have lots of time and energy available to care for your furry friends (as well as my own dogs and cats). I believe that pets make our lives better, and in turn I am committed to making their lives as comfortable and enjoyable as I possibly can. You can depend on me being detail-oriented and conscientious; I will stick closely to the instructions you share with me about how best to provide for your pet’s needs while you are away (as regards schedule for feeding, cat litter box tending, dogs being taken outside, medications to administer, and so on). As someone who has entrusted my own pets to the care of sitters over the years, I understand the importance of making sure my clients’ dogs and cats get lots of loving care and undivided attention, in addition to providing for their physical needs.
About: I've had dogs most of my life and handled every dog emergency there is. I have kind and gentle nature and have lot's of experience both pups that have endless energy and older dogs that need a little more help. I work part time from home helping women who are caring for their parents so I'm very flexible and can often even change my schedule to fit yours. I feel strongly that the advantage of having pet care in your home is that they get to keep their routine! So my rule is follow instructions while making sure they feel safe and loved.
About: I’v taken care of dogs since I was old enough to be responsible for them, around age 12. I was in charge of feeding our family dogs, walking them, and exercising them through intentional playtime. We had 3 dogs then, and now we own two. I enjoy going on long walks and hikes, and often take my dogs on hikes. I also enjoy a casual run, and I am happy to take dogs on runs as well! About: I have taken care of animals most of my life i am new the Rover community but I do have kennel technician experience and dog bather experience along with drop by visits. I do have to walk or be driven by my mother since I don't have a license and or car because I have epilepsy and hydrocephalus. About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a teenager. I grew up around dogs, and cats. I love being with animals. I was always the one that my family or friends called when they needed someone to walk, feed or bathe their pets when out of town or stuck at work longer than expected. I currently have 3 large dogs, a female German Shepard mix, a male brindled mutt,a yr old male German Shepard. I also have 2 very chatty orange tabby cats. All of which are rescues. About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old.
