I ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, whether in my home or the client’s. At home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention and playtime. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs-large and small, young and old-since before high school and now I am in graduate school still enjoying it! I will not only walk dogs and dogsit at houses, but I have also house sat and made sure to water plants and bring in mail and packages! I have experience with puppies and older dogs and keeping up with medicines for older dogs. I love to maintain good communication and send updates and photos for longer dog sitting jobs! I am currently on summer break from graduate school and working part-time. My schedule will vary, but nights are typically free for overnight dogsitting and daytime will also be available for dog walking and drop ins. I would love to work with owners on the times and dates they need! In my clients homes, I will care for the pet as instructed, whether feeding, letting them outside, etc. If they need to stay on a leash or are free to roam a fenced in yard, I will follow instructions for that. If they want to play or cuddle, I love doing that with them. I will respect the homes I go into, and I always try to leave things as I found them!

About: i’ve taken care of animals for about 8 years now. i have also had at least 1 dog and cat for my entire life. i have 3 dogs and a cat myself (including a 16 year old beagle)!! i love animals soso much and think they deserve the absolute best from everyone. i often drive around handing out pet supplies to homeless with animals as well. im currently part time in school and work! i usually have class 8am-1pm but have an awkward break until work at 4pm-11pm. on my off days i am completely available and always looking for stuff to do! i have a fenced in yard for my 3 dogs and keep my cat inside. i often take one of the dogs to run errands with me and explore for some enrichment and fun! i don’t take my elderly dog (16) out too much due to his lipomas (fat tumors- typical for beagles) interfering with his hip/leg movement during long walks. he does get plenty of attention and fun at home though!

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, a registered nurse and lifelong animal lover offering drop-in visits, walks, and boarding in my home. I currently travel all throughout Nashville and surrounding areas providing wound care to patients, so my schedule is extremely flexible and there’s a good chance I’m already in your area often. My nursing background has made me very dependable, attentive, patient, and comfortable handling routines, medications, senior pets, puppies, and anxious dogs. About: Looking for a loving companion for your dog (or cat) while you're away? Look no further! My immense love of dogs started at quite a young age. And after much begging to my mother, we rescued my childhood dog from a humane society shelter in Ft. Worth, TX, and the rest is history. With me, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is receiving all the love and care possible. Dogs are not a job, but a life passion of mine! My first pet sitting experience, at the age of 6 (under the supervision of my mother), is one I won't soon forget. The neighbors had tasked me with watching their cat while they were away. The only problem was that they had forgotten to leave us a key to the apartment. Times like this one taught me to be quick on my feet in emergent situations. In the end, we were able to secure a key, and the cat was safe and well cared for. Over the years, my experience grew immeasurably, and even included a long standing stint as a "dog nanny" when her dog mom and dad vacationed. I am in between jobs at the moment, so Rover is my full time income. This means extra quality time and love for your babies! If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring it along, as this can provide a sense of comfort and safe space them. I do have a camera that I sometimes use to check in on the dogs, should I have to leave to run a quick errand or something.

About: We have been training and taking care of dogs since we were little. My family always rescued dogs so I have experience with all pup personalities! My husband works from home and can give around the clock pet care. I have a very flexible schedule and can take home days when caring for someone else’s pup. We live in a newly built single family home. We have a 4 year old shihtzu that is very laid back and loves making friends. We are obsessed with dogs and they are always the center of attention in our household. We allow dogs on all furniture and in the bed! We don’t require our dog to be put in a crate but he is very comfortable in one just in case you require your pup to be crated!

About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and my dogs have all lived very long and healthy lives. I’ve adopted them and taken in strays, including one that was pregnant and then had 8 very healthy puppies which we cared for, weaned and found permanent homes for. Several of my dogs have lived very long senior lives (21!) and I can give medications and special diets. I’ve also transported many dogs, large and small, to the vet. I take my dogs to the dog parks on a regular basis and have taken them on long trips too. I am available to dog walk and also watch them in fenced-in yards for potty breaks and play. I produced several “Pet Care" series for HGTV, DIY Network and TNN, including dog care segments with Dr. Craig Prior, owner of Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular and well-known Nashville veterinarian, who was also my personal vet for many years. I’m retired so I’m available all days and times. And I love taking photos and videos of pets and would be able to share updates for clients. I am currently retired and am available all days and times. I do volunteering on a regular basis but can adjust that schedule as needed. I also do freelance Marketing and Development including grant writing for nonprofits, on my own time schedule. I have a fenced-in back hyard for my own dogs but also take them on walks and to the dog park. So I would be able to walk dogs as needed. I also know about safety in a home, including keeping food, liquids, cleaners and materials away from pets. My own Beagle can get ninto things easily so I always put things up. My dogs do not use crates but I know how to crate dogs too.

About: Hi! I’m a local mom living on a mini farm in Goodlettsville with my husband, son, two dogs, and ten chickens. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we spend most of our days outside exploring, playing, and staying active. My son absolutely loves animals and is a wonderful little helper.
