About: Honestly, I don't think I've gone more than a few months of my life without a pet around. I grew up with dogs and have since lived with and looked after dobermans, beagles, doodles, pointers, and pitbulls, amongst others, so a big, strong, or stubborn dog doesn't throw me off, and neither does a nervous first-timer. I've also lived with cats for years, so I speak fluent "aloof but secretly obsessed with you." Along the way I've picked up a lot of the extra care stuff almost by accident: giving meds on a schedule, handling a dog with leash reactivity, sticking to a strict routine for an anxious pet, being patient with a senior pet who needs a little more help getting around. I'm not saying I've seen it all, but I've seen a lot, and I actually enjoy the pets who need a bit more thought and attention. They're usually the most rewarding ones to work with. I'm currently a full-time master's student, and don't currently have other part-time work, but I will communicate if that changes in the future. I do have evening classes that are online except for one. Otherwise, I'm available to spend time with your fur babies. I like sitting in your pet's own home when that's an option. It just tends to be less stressful for them than a strange new place. Every pet's a little different, so I'm not going in with a fixed routine; I'd rather figure out what actually works for your dog or cat and stick to that. If your pet needs meds, has a quirk, or gets nervous easily, that's not a dealbreaker for me, if anything, tell me more, because I want to get it right.
About: I have volunteered and fostered dogs for a few years. I have three pups of my own and am excited to start a new journey of caring for dogs when their people need. Currently a part time nanny after teaching for six years, so I have plenty of time to play and walk with your pets! Drop off and pick up times unavailable: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30am-1:30pm Monday-Thursday: 4:30-6pm Townhome isn't an option to pick, but it's a decent sized townhome and I own it! Community is not like an apartment complex! I have three sweet dogs to play with yours if they need a buddy. They are also not allowed upstairs, in case you have a senior dog or a dog who needs peace, your pup can have space to themselves. We have a community dog park if you're willing to let them use this (usually kept and empty). I also give lots of walks and snuggles! I am good with following a feeding and medication schedule. In the summer, we put up our temporary fence to allow for outdoor pool time!
“Rhegan is super helpful & adaptable. I changed the drop in visit day of & she was quick to accommodate us. She really cares for Rosie & Rosie loves her. Can't wait to book with her again!”

“Jaci was incredibly patient with our spicy kitty and great with our other pets. She was on time and had very good communication throughout the time away which is so rare nowadays and super appreciated. Definitely recommend and will book her in the future. Thank you Jaci!”

“Tiffany exceeded expectations. When she first stopped by for an interview, within minutes our cat Max warmed up to her. Max usually takes his time letting someone new pet him. He chose her! Max is 17 years old with age related issues and we were concerned having to leave him. Tiffany was prompt communicating, she takes GREAT pictures to send in updates, she paid attention to weather making sure he was inside during storms. The updates helped us not worry. When we got home, Max was well taken care of and content. Thank you, Tiffany!”

“Afton was incredible. She cared for our two pups as though they were her own. I will definitely book with her the next time we are out of town or need anything she can help with!”

During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, exercise, companionship, and any other care they need while their owners are away. About: I grew up in the country, where I had more dogs than neighbourhood friends. I have rescued countless numbers of animals in my day. My first job was animal control for shelby county when I was sixteen. Now I'm everybody's favorite dog Uncle. I've had numerous friends and family request I watch over their pets because they know they'll be in good hands. Just last year I lost my best friend, a 15 year old black lab named Todd Philip. Turns out he rescued me, now it's time to give back! I'm a motorcycle mechanic so I work Monday-Friday 9am-3pm but this is "very" flexible. I can be available early mornings or evenings. 6am-8am or 4pm-11pm Plenty of room for laying around in my apartment, second story balcony for hanging outside. There is a big dog park less than 50 feet away from my door. Also there are 3 more dog parks that are at adjacent complexes that are easy to walk too. Less than five minutes walk to Percy Priest lake one of my favorite places to explore.

Anna Lauren always does an amazing job with my dogs. She is so reliable, caring, and most importantly, my dogs love her too. She was even able to step in and help last minute when my flight was delayed! She's amazing, and I am very grateful to have found her!

We had a wonderful experience with our Rover sitter. She responded promptly, was flexible with our schedule, and communicated with us throughout each visit. She shared photos and updates on our dog's well-being every time she dropped in, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We felt completely comfortable knowing he was being well cared for, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!

Jennifer was extremely caring for my Frechie while I was away. She was communicative and updated his report card daily, as well as sent pictures to me. And left me a very sweet and detailed note at the conclusion of the her visit! I highly recommend Jennifer in the future

Finding Afton to sit with our two furry gals has been incredible! We have a larger dog and a small one and she is great with both. She walks, plays, distributes meds and gives great attention to each detail. And when we arrived home, everything was neat and tidy. Afton truly goes above and beyond, 5 Star sitter, we found a gem!!

HIGHLY recommend Jenna! She is so kind, such a great communicator, and was prompt and consistent. She sent great pictures and knew how to adapt to our dog’s needs autonomously. 10/10 recommend Jenna and are so grateful to have her so we can be fully present on our trips!
