About: With over 20 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring a lifetime of love, attentiveness, and reliability to every pet I welcome. I adopted my cat in 2004 and cared for her until she passed peacefully at 19—proof of the deep commitment I have to animal wellbeing. Today, I share my home with a gentle Great Pyrenees–Bernese Mountain Dog mix who’s as friendly as she is fluffy. She adores making new dog friends and would love to keep your pup company during their stay. She has full roam of my house, and your dog will too—if that’s your preference. I want your pup to feel just as comfortable and free as they do at home. What sets me apart? I work from home full-time, so I’m available day and night to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, medication, or just a reassuring presence, I’m here. I also have a fenced yard for safe outdoor fun and provide daily walks to keep your dog active and happy. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just boarded—they’re cared for like family. I offer a calm, nurturing environment where your dog will feel secure, loved, and truly at home. Pet care is seamlessly woven into my daily and weekly routine—it’s not just something I do, it’s how I live. As a seasoned pet owner with over 20 years of experience, caring for animals is second nature to me. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and night to meet the needs of any pet in my care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just being a calming presence, I’m always nearby and attentive. With my own dog, I maintain a consistent routine that includes daily walks, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and plenty of affection and engagement. Weekends are no different; I’m home and hands-on, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I offer both day boarding and overnight stays, whether it’s just for one night or an extended trip. Whether you need a few hours of care while you’re at work or a safe, loving home for your dog while you travel, I’m here to accommodate your needs. Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority. Pets in my care are treated like family—with constant attention, affection, and a routine that supports their comfort and wellbeing. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for outdoor playtime and exploration. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to offer daily leashed walks tailored to their energy level and routine. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and she has full roam of my home. Your dog will too, if that’s your preference, so they can relax and feel right at home. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, I require a meet and greet before any scheduled sitting. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, make sure your pup feels comfortable, and confirm that we’re a great fit. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my priority, and I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where they can thrive.

About: I've taken care of dogs since childhood through my own pets. I can administer medicine and provide plenty of love and cuddles for our best friends. I am transitioning to working in the local school system to work my way up to becoming a certified teacher for K-5. I will be able provide care for animals after school hours - 3:30pm and beyond. Over breaks and weekends, I will be able to provide more full-time attention to pet care. I am able to provide drop in visits in your home, which will be less stressful on animals to have to go into a new environment while you are away. I will take dogs out for potty breaks and walks, if needed, puppy pads changed, provide food and fresh water daily for all animals, water plants, bring in mail and packages, cats will have litter box changed daily and provided plenty of food and water. Playtime will be enjoyed by both animals and myself! Exotic animals will have cage/hutch cleaned daily with each drop in visit and fresh food and fresh water. All pets will be given treats as a thank you for letting me take care of them while you are away!

Met Rowan before we left and felt wonderful with entrusting our house & pets with her. She is very thorough and diligent about knowing what our pets needs were and checked in at the appointed times promptly. Our cats are normally very anti-social so we didn't expect to see them come out for her at all but to our surprise she was able to send us pictures of them (after the 1st day) and by her third trip there were even videos of them coming out for her! She's truly a cat whisperer and we couldn't have been happier. She'll definitely be hired again!

About: I have extensive hands-on experience, caring for dogs of all ages sizes and temperaments with over six dogs of my own throughout my adult life. These breeds include chowchow, pit-bull, golden-doodles, pugs, and dobermans so I’m comfortable handling everything from high energy dogs to more independent or strong willed personalities. I currently have a golden doodle so I’m very familiar with daily routine routines exercise needs, and providing consistent structure and attention. I also specialize in caring for senior dogs, including administrative medication and offering the extra patience, gentleness, intent if they require it. I understand how important it is to keep pets, comfortable and stress-free, especially when their owners are away. My approach is to make your dog feel as at home as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine whether that’s feeding schedules walks, playtime or downtime. I pay close attention to each dog personality and need so they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and plenty of updates pictures videos, etc. so you always have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I primarily work from home and run my own business, and attend school online part-time, which gives me a high level of flexibility and availability throughout the day. This allows me to provide consistent attention, regular walk’s playtime and companionship without leaving pets alone for long periods of time. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m also able to accommodate a variety of needs, including early mornings evenings, weekends even last minute or Emergency pet care when needed. Whether your dog thrives or structure routine or needs more attention, I’m able to adapt and be fully present. This is heavily based off of the pet and or the clients needs for caring for pets in my home or clients home. My priorities always gonna make sure that pets feel safe and comfortable and their environment, and that they feel safe. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs so taking the time to learn their schedule, habits preferences, and our medication’s and every little detail will help help him feel at ease. My goal is to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible, while providing plain affection, attention, and supervision, just as my own dog in my home. I am mindful of every pet comfort level and temperament, and the surroundings, knowing that I am a guest in their home. For instance, my golden doodle has separation anxiety, and if I am not home, I know that keeping the TV on classical music on a low volume and keeping the curtains closed while he is in his large kennel, keeps him at ease from his anxiety. These are the types of steps and information that is required in good dog sitting and or care.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including my own two dogs, several cats, and many other pets. Because I care for animals every day, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and paying attention to each pet’s unique needs and personality. What sets me apart is my real-life experience managing multiple animals with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals, so I treat every pet like part of the family. You can also count on regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I’m available throughout the day and night, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and overnight care as needed. I’m especially available on weekdays and weekends, so I can be dependable for both regular schedules and last-minute bookings. I enjoy giving pets attention, exercise, and consistent care while their owners are away. We can always decide together what schedule works best for you and your pet to ensure their needs are consistently met. In both my home and a client's home, I ensure a structured daily routine for pets that includes feeding, walking, potty breaks, and playtime. I provide regular meals according to each pet’s dietary needs, ensure consistent exercise through daily walks, and offer frequent potty breaks. Playtime is tailored to each pet’s preferences and energy levels, ensuring they stay engaged and happy. This routine helps maintain a stable environment, whether at my home or yours!

About: I am an animal lover and have over 33 years of experience! I grew up having dogs and cats. I have had 3 of my own dogs and 2 cats, 4 of which were strays. I have trained all of my furry friends and even helped my Boston Terrier Mix have puppies. I have also cared for elderly pets and so I understand what it takes to give them the love and treatment they need in their more frail years. Yoko was absolutely amazing with our three dogs! As they are not very socialized, I was initially worried about how our German Shepherd would react. However, as soon as my dogs met her, they bonded right away. I would describe her as a dog whisperer since our dogs can be quite picky and selective. Yoko is a great communicator and incredibly trustworthy; we felt completely at ease leaving our pets in her care. I highly recommend her services and will definitely be using her again in the future! This was our first time ever leaving our dogs and relying solely on drop-in visits while we were completely out of town, so finding someone trustworthy was incredibly important to us. Hannah did an amazing job. Communication was excellent, she kept us updated throughout the visit, followed all of our instructions, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Our dogs seemed very comfortable with her, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was also very attentive and may have even helped tidy up a bit, which was such a thoughtful touch. We came home to happy dogs and zero issues. We would absolutely book Hannah again and are so relieved to have found someone reliable and trustworthy to care for our dogs when needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
