There is some sibling rivalry between my two cats and he made sure both of them had a chance to eat by sticking around and feeding them in separate rooms if need be. He also kept an eye on the house, and kept me informed of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood, made sure our windows were locked, took out the trash, etc. He was very communicative and responsive. This definitely made me feel more at ease during our trip. When the Microsoft crash shut all the airlines down, he reached out to see if our flight was affected and said he could keep feeding the cats if needed. I would highly recommend Doug for other pet owners, and would definitely use his services again in the future.”

The worry about whether they're comfortable, happy, and being cared for the way you would care for them yourself is something I completely understand. Dogs & cats have been a part of my life - forever, and caring for them has always been one of my greatest joys. While Rottweilers hold a special place in my heart, I have raised and trained them for more than 25 years - I've also had the privilege of loving and raising Dachshunds, West Highland White Terriers, and German Shepherds. I truly believe that dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and secure. Just like people, they find comfort in familiar routines and consistency. When I'm caring for your pet, I do my best to keep their days feeling as normal and comfortable as possible, so they can relax while you're away. I’m currently a stay at home Mom. My husband and I have two children (4 years & 5 years old) and two beloved Rottweilers, Beau and Abby. Beau is our big, goofy 120-pound boy with a confident but gentle nature, and Abby is our calm and steady six-year-old girl who seems to have an old soul. We recently lost our senior dachshund Marvin. Years ago, I spent time involved in competitive obedience training and earned therapy certifications with my big dogs. Those experiences deepened my appreciation for canine behavior, communication, and the importance of building trust and understanding with our dogs. More than anything, they taught me that every dog deserves patience, kindness, and respect. I am a Christian, and my faith influences how I care for others—both people and their pets. When you're trusting me with your dog and your home, I understand what a responsibility that is. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is being cared for with genuine love, attention, and compassion. Our property is designed to give your pup a fun, safe, and relaxing vacation while you're away. We have a fully fenced backyard on just under an acre, providing plenty of room to run, play, explore, and soak up the sunshine. For dogs who love the water, we have an in-ground swimming pool, and they're welcome to swim under supervision. We even provide doggie life jackets so they can enjoy the pool safely. Your dog's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. All meals are served separately to ensure a calm, stress-free dining experience, and I use brief crate rotations when needed to give each guest quiet time or individualized attention. At bedtime, non-destructive pups are welcome to curl up on a cozy queen-size bed in our guest suite. For dogs who find comfort in background noise, I can leave the TV on to help them relax and feel at home. Each day is filled with personalized attention, games of fetch, outdoor play, cuddles, and plenty of enrichment. On warm days, our guests even enjoy dog-friendly ice cream as a special treat! My goal is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed, and excited to come back for their next vacation. Here, your pup isn't just being watched—they're treated like family and spoiled with love every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. My life is dedicated to raising my children, and pet sitting allows me to earn a little extra income while doing something I truly love. I strongly believe in routine and structure. As a former teacher, I enjoy keeping things organized and providing a consistent, comfortable environment for everyone in my care. Before caring for your pet, I'll ask plenty of questions about their daily routine, preferences, and any special needs so I can make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they're with us. We have a spacious home with a split floor plan, which allows us to easily accommodate different dogs. If your pet is staying overnight, we can separate dogs when needed, rotate playtime, or allow them to socialize together, depending on their personalities and comfort levels. My dogs do well with other dogs of various sizes, and I always prioritize safe, supervised interactions. We have a fenced yard with a pool. My goal is to provide each pet with the right balance of rest, play, exercise, and socialization so they feel at home while you're away.

About: After a decade of begging, my dad finally gave in to getting a dog on the basis that it would require no work from him. I took this to heart and my passion for animals has only grown caring for my fur baby every day of the week. I have rescued and fostered a dumped dog off the street and found her a loving home. I have done drop ins for some friends’ cats and dogs a couple times before with no problems as well. I am a student currently working as an EMT and I am looking to fill in the gaps doing what I love most while mutually helping out others. I have experience with a dog and cat of my own. I will love on every animal big and small, they are my world and what keeps me going. I don’t mind doing dirty work, and your furbaby will get all the attention they need! I can dog walk, cat-sit, and do drop-ins with the occasional home stay, with additional services conditionally.

About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, and birds. I began dog sitting in my neighborhood (under my parents supervision) when I was 10. I am now 28 and have gained a wealth of knowledge in caring for dogs of all breeds (big and small) and ages. I personally have a terrier and an American shorthair cat. I have cared for them since they were very young as well as into old age. I absolutely love all animals. They are purest of heart and I just want to give them all the love and attention they deserve. About: I love to keep most pets on routine whether it’s feeding times, potty breaks, or playtime! It’s important to implement these so pets have standard routine I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I can be needed whenever and wherever to fill gaps where pets need the most care. I can work most days except Sundays. I have gates that block off certain areas in the house where pets are not allowed to go near or in. For example: dining areas and gates at the stairs.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania and took care of many different animals but we always had dogs and cats in and around the house. I have a huge love for animals and can't have a dog myself right now with my cat so this is a great opportunity to love on dogs and cats alike and make some new friends! I am a singer/songwriter and need something flexible but also something I love to do and be a part of. I am very thorough in taking proper steps to take care of our fur babies and give them the attention they need! Sometimes I would much rather be around animals than people. Throw me a bone, hand me the leash and we'll have fun! My weekdays are pretty open during the day/evening right now and some weekend days. My schedule can be pretty flexible based on availability and requests. I will take every precaution to keep your pet safe and if you have specific instructions for your house/property I will make sure it’s taken care of.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for 50 years. I’ve taken care of up to seven dogs at once. I’ve had big and small dogs. All my dogs are adopted and some have had special needs. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m currently available to watch or board all week. I love taking dogs for walks. I have a fenced yard. Currently I don’t have any dogs but occasionally I watch my daughters dog. Even though I don’t have dogs I make sure all gates are closed and secured.
