About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! I graduated Austin Peay with a Bachelor’s in Agriculture and concentrated in Veterinary Technology. While I was in school, I worked at a boarding facility and daycare. I worked in an animal hospital for over 3 years until I had my son in November. I stay home with my son now as a full time mom. My veterinary experience allows me to administer medication, provide extraordinary care, and give lots of love! I currently am a stay at home mom to my son who was born in November! Our days are open and willing to help out families with their fur babies! I have 4 dogs of my own- 2 senior small girls, a senior lab (though she doesn’t act like it), and a middle aged silly boy! They are all friendly and welcoming to any animal in our home. I do have an unfenced yard but do have runners and will leash walk all animals in my yard. I am able to crate any animal if necessary.

About: I am the youngest of 4 girls and we always got the same pets together. But for some reason, my pets always lived the longest! I like to think its because I took the time to train, play and love on my pets. My first pet was when I was 7: a hermit crab. Then a finch, a parakeet, a hamster and a rabbit. My hamster even knew his name, Ted, like a teddy bear. So when all the hamsters escaped their cage, only Ted came back! When my family got our first dog, Kovu, I quickly became his best friend (after my dad, of course). I taught him sit, down, shake, spin and roll over. We got a second dog, Hercules, who I taught all those tricks to as well as beg! Herc was a little more agile than Hunky Kovu. Kovu went on to learn how to retrieve their dog bowls for dinner and to help carry bags of trash to the trashcan or groceries to the house. As Herc got older, he became more anxious. So I’d give him extra cuddles every 4th of July and put on his vest that felt like a hug around him. Both Kovu and Herc have gone on to Dog Heaven after 14 years of life each. And I’ve gone on to live with a roommate with a very skiddish, anxious dog to owning two rescues with my Husband, Jax and Milo. They too, know all the tricks I taught my family dogs and have learned to be great around our 6-month old baby. I’m working part time in the early morning hours on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Otherwise, I am free pretty much all day to care for your fur babies. If you have a fenced yard, I’ll make sure to get them plenty outside time for play. If not, I’m happy to take them for walks throughout the day. I’ll make sure to clean up after them so your home stays nice and tidy while you are away. I can give them a bath if needed and time for tricks and treats if you allow!

About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve cared for my own dogs, as well as family, friends, and neighbors’ pets, and I truly love making dogs feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m a proud dog mom to my 3-year-old Black Lab, Raven, who is friendly, playful, and always excited to make new dog friends. Your pup will have a built in buddy for playtime and companionship! I have a spacious home with a basement that is comfortably set up for dogs, and I’m happy to welcome pups onto the furniture because I believe dogs deserve to feel at home (my couch has washable covers). My backyard is partially fenced, and I’m also close to a beautiful Greenway where I love taking dogs for walks and adventures. I also live 3 minutes from Rovers dog park! I understand every dog has their own personality and needs. I have the space and ability to give dogs their own areas or separate them when needed, so every pup can feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed during their stay. I also have a membership at Urban Dog Bar in Nashville and love giving dogs fun experiences beyond just sitting at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or quiet time, I’m happy to tailor care to what makes your dog happiest. Your pup will be treated like family here with lots of love, attention, and belly rubs included! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine! I’m home most weekends and work remotely every Monday and Friday, which allows me to spend lots of quality time with the dogs in my care including walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping them company. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays I work from the office, but I have a consistent routine. I make sure dogs get outside in the morning before I leave, as soon as I’m home, and again before bedtime. I’m also able to provide a comfortable, safe environment where they can relax while I’m away. My backyard is fenced in on three sides and is a decent size for dogs to enjoy. I do let my own dog roam freely, but I completely understand that not every dog is comfortable or safe doing that. I have a running cable available if needed, and I’m also happy to take dogs outside on a leash for potty breaks and walks. I also have a basement that is separated into two spaces with dog gates, a large dog kennel if needed, and an upstairs area that can be separated with another doggy gate to help create a safe and comfortable space. From one dog mom to another, I understand how important it is to know your dog is in a safe environment with a trusted human. I want every dog in my care to feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re here.

My elderly Mother lives in a separate Mom Suite in our basement so it was important for me to find someone trustworthy and caring. Anita went above and beyond our cat sitting needs. She came for 4 visits to feed and scoop for my two indoor cats. She checked the mail and visited with my Mom and watered the plants. About: I have cared for pets since I was double digits. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and dogs. Dogs are my favorite, though. It doesn't matter what breed; they are all unique in their own way and beautiful as well. I have personally owned a Rotti (Rocco), Husky mix (Mercedes), English Bulldog (Diesel), Frenchies (Kingston & Khloe), and now a pocket bully (Oakley) and English Bulldog (Lola). Since our kids are grown, these are our fur babies. We always say that this is their home, and they just let us live with them. I am able and comfortable with injuries, wounds, bathing, and cutting nails if needed. We are currently going through the puppy stage with Lola, so we have a lot of patience as well. We would love for you to choose us to stay with because we love meeting new friends, no matter their age or breed. I work from home 3 days a week, so I am here most of the time to care for pets. Dogs are like kids; once you have more of them, they are easier to care for because they move in a pack for the most part. I have two extremely friendly and loving dogs here. We have a fenced-in yard in the back. We live in a quiet subdivision out in the country with sidewalks and other friendly dogs. Our home is dog-proofed in the sense that we have a dog gate, multiple dog beds throughout the house downstairs, and two bins of dog toys. We also keep plenty of treats for training and snacks.
