I've had pets all my life, from small animals, fish, birds and reptiles, to now a cat and a dog on a farm. I love companion animals and believe we have a responsibility to make their lives the best they can be. Each animal has their own personality and I will treat them like they are part of the family.

Rachel took such great care of our three fur babies - kitty cats Lily, Tempo, and Bobcat (2 girls and a boy). She gave us priceless peace of mind while we were away for 5 nights. Rachel did a fantastic job with our two dogs! Her drop-in visits were the perfect way to break up their day, and she went above and beyond by playing with them, making sure they had fresh water and treats, and even working on some training. Knowing the dogs were genuinely enjoying her visits gave us total peace of mind and made being away on our trip so much easier. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such great hands. We will definitely use Rachel again in the future!
Rachel was amazing. I was so nervous because I had never left my dogs and cat with anyone they didn’t know. I just moved to the area and needed to take an 11 day trip! I am so glad I found Rachel. She made my trip so much better.i felt at peace knowing they were well taken care of. From the moment I met her I knew she would be the one. She took great care of them. She sent me updates and pictures. She was patient and caring with one of my dogs which is a bit nervous. She gained their love and trust, and they became her shadows which says a lot about how well she cared for them. I highly recommend her and I am very grateful and thankful I found her.
Thank you to Rachel who sat for our three felines, Tempo, Lily, and Bobcat, 2 girls and a boy. We went away overnight, and she helped us with two sittings. She did an amazing job and sent great photos to us each time. We could see that the kitties were safe, sound and happy! Thank you, Rachel! This was my first time using Rover. Rachael agreed to a last minute and quick meet and greet to go over routine with the pups. I had a last minute booking with her due to a family emergency. Was very happy she came and took care of them as agreed.

Schedule
I am a homesteader so I get up early and treat my pets like they are part of my daily lifestyle. I take my dog for his weekly long walk and daily ball chasing / short walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have a fenced yard but I have 6 acres with lots of good deer trails for dogs to sniff on a leash. I know of pavement walking trails in the community if they require a jog or more exercise. My home has wood floors and stairs. I crate when I'm gone but my dog sleeps with me. I can accommodate pretty much any needs.
Pets
A typical day
I love to use exercise and play as a baseline before cuddles and attention, but it all depends on the energy and ability of the critters! I like to hike in my backyard and play with toys in the house.
