I work at a vet Monday-Thursday, so I am available all day Friday-Sunday to care for your critters. I would love to take some furry friends for a walk or sit on the couch with them while their family is on a trip. I will respect your pets space first and foremost. Even if I am staying overnight and your pet is scared to be near a stranger, I will not force them. If they’re more comfortable hiding in the closet, that if more than okay, as long as everyone is safe and healthy. If your pet is a snugglebug and wants to touch me 24/7, that’s great too! I live alone in a 4 bedroom house which provides plenty of space for pups to walk around and get comfortable! I also have large crates if needed or proffered for crate trained dogs. My goal is for your dog to be able to have consistency with their current routine or as close to it as possible. I work from home which allows your dog to get my full attention throughout the day. I have a large fenced in backyard which allows for some great outdoor play time. I like to walk a lot myself which means more walks for your pup as well! I am very flexible and will do my best at keeping your dog's routine. The more details I have on the front end the better to allow me to watch your pup. Dogs have always been a passion of mine. I look forward to working with you and your pup. I love having return customers as well! I currently work from home part time which allows me to give your pup my full attention throughout the day. I have a very flexible schedule. I have a nice size house with a big backyard. I have one dog, But I can easily keep them separated if need be. I have 2 large crates. I have worked at numerous vet’s offices as Kennel Assistants and have always had a cat or dog myself that I have taken care of and consider them my “fur-children”. I love all cats and dogs and would love to take care of you baby and treat them as my own! I’m available most mornings and evenings to take care of your fur-baby! I can help with walks during the day if planned in advance as well. I have a small backyard (not fenced) but am willing to take your animals around for a good long walk in the morning and the evenings as well. I have dog crates available for the dogs to be crated during the day (to board at my house they must be crate trained and be willing to stay in the crate when I am not home). I work only 10 minutes away from my house so I can make as many trips home to give them time out of the crate during the day as needed! I also have a spare room that could be used for the cat or dog to have their own closed in space if needed! I also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, dog toys, cat beds, a cat tower looking outside at a bird feeder for activity, and cat toys for them to play with! I also keep an extra couple of litter boxes handy, in addition to my LitterRobot for cats!

Community is not like an apartment complex! I have three sweet dogs to play with yours if they need a buddy. They are also not allowed upstairs, in case you have a senior dog or a dog who needs peace, your pup can have space to themselves. We have a community dog park if you're willing to let them use this (usually kept and empty). I also give lots of walks and snuggles! I am good with following a feeding and medication schedule. In the summer, we put up our temporary fence to allow for outdoor pool time!

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for 50 years. I’ve taken care of up to seven dogs at once. I’ve had big and small dogs. All my dogs are adopted and some have had special needs. I’m retired, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m currently available to watch or board all week. I love taking dogs for walks. I have a fenced yard. Currently I don’t have any dogs but occasionally I watch my daughters dog. Even though I don’t have dogs I make sure all gates are closed and secured.
