I've had animals all my life and have been taking care of pets for friends and family for years now. I love having new animals around and caring for them the same way I would care for my dog, Nova. I've cared for senior dogs with mobility concerns, large dogs, small dogs, hyperactive puppies, and everything in between.

Lauren is amazing!! My dog Ivy looked like she had a blast with Lauren and her family. She came home exhausted. Lauren sent lots of videos and pictures. She even met us halfway for drop off and pick up!

Lauren went above and beyond taking care of Cece! From the moment we left, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Lauren sent so many photos and updates of Cece clearly having the best time while on walks, hanging out, and enjoying lots of cuddles. It honestly felt like Cece was living her best life while we were gone. If I could rate Lauren 10 out of 10, I absolutely would. I can’t recommend her highly enough! Lauren was AMAZING! It was my 1st time boarding Maggie and I could not have hoped for a better experience! Maggie was treated like family and didn’t even know I was gone. Lauren was communicative the entire time with updates , pics and videos. I highly recommend! We will be visiting Lauren and Maggie’s new family often!!

Schedule
I have one 7-year old blue heeler named Nova who is great with other pets and one senior cat named Poppy who keeps to herself. I have a flexible schedule and a large fenced in backyard, so my dog is never going more than ~4 hours without going outside. I care for any pet I sit the same way I care for Nova.

Safety, trust & environment
I keep a large dog crate in my guest bedroom for any pup that needs to be crated if I’m away. Otherwise the dogs are out and about with me. I'm a night owl, so there is lots of cuddle time at night. I'm also a big gardener, so I have the dogs outside with me often. I have a ramp off the back porch that was for my senior dog before she passed away, so my space is very accommodating for dogs who struggle with stairs.
Pets
A typical day
I'm outside a lot so there is a lot of time to explore outside without being pulled away on a leash. Inside, we lounge! I usually put a blanket on the couch and don't mind for the pups to be on the couch that way for cuddles. If they are a playful dog, Nova LOVES having a buddy. I also can take very active dogs to my parents house down the road where they can swim in the pond and run on a farm.
