About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, and I’ve owned pets my entire life. I also worked at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, where I cared for and worked around horses and other animals daily, giving me hands-on experience in a professional animal care environment. In addition, I have experience as a veterinary technician, where I assisted with handling animals, monitoring their health, administering medications under veterinary supervision, and helping keep pets comfortable during visits. I’ve also studied animal health and care through school, which has given me a strong understanding of pet behavior, safety, and basic medical needs. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I work for myself, which allows me to create a flexible schedule and provide reliable pet care throughout the week. Because I have control over my hours, I can often accommodate last-minute requests, extended visits, and consistent routines. Whether your pet needs a quick drop-in, a long walk, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible by providing dependable, compassionate care and keeping you updated every step of the way. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With experience as a veterinary technician and years of working with animals, I know how to recognize changes in behavior, safely administer medications if needed, and provide calm, compassionate care. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, you can expect plenty of love, attention, exercise, and photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family.

“Elizabeth was absolutely amazing! She was reliable, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and well cared for. Halo immediately took to her, which says a lot about her warm and caring nature. I loved the updates and photos she sent—it really gave me peace of mind while I was away. I’ll definitely be booking with Elizabeth again!”

“Maggie and Michael were amazing! They took such good care of my pup, she looked happy and comfortable the entire stay so I will surely bring her back again and would highly recommend them!”

“Robin was wonderful with my pets. Both Bella and Riley were happy campers. She sent us photo updates, which helped my mother in law, because she worries about leaving her dog with “strangers”. However her dog loved Robin and fit right in with her little doggie pack. She really understands dogs and people, and is just a nice person herself, so she was very accommodating to us booking at the last minute, fitting us in to her busy schedule, and helping to meet our needs. We will definitely use Robin again.”

“Haley has been an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! She is dependable, caring, and truly treats our dog like her own. We especially appreciate her flexibility and willingness to accommodate schedule changes — it gives us so much peace of mind. She keeps us updated and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. We feel very lucky to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter!”

“Alison has been named Taz's godmom! She is an outstanding dog sitter. I know that my Taz is being loved when he is at Allison's. She usually has more than one dog there, and I think Taz likes hanging around with his friends. She has a nice big backyard. Frankly, I can't say enough good things about Allison.”

“Melissa is a wonderful and accommodating host. She took great care of our bulldog, Weezer. In fact, he had so much fun he's been sleeping like a rock for the last two days since we picked him up! Communication was great and we received photo and text updates throughout his stay. Highly recommended!”
“Trevell was very flexible and welcoming. He took excellent care of Onyx. When I picked him up he was happy and his usual energetic self. I will definitely book again in the future.”

Sharon was the absolute best!! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog with her. I knew from the moment I met her she was a dog lover and was going to take the best care of my baby and she did!! Stella loved her other dogs, they played and got along great. 10/10 recommend!!

Ms. Olivia was absolutely the most amazing dog-sitter anyone could ask for!! She has a true gift to care for dogs the way she does, and you don't see that too often. This was my fur babies first time ever being with someone else, and she did amazing! The love and care that Olivia and her family gave to my sweet girl, was more than I could ever ask. She went over and beyond to make sure my girl felt loved, safe, and comfortable. She truly cared for her, as if she was her own!! I received updates and pictures everyday, and you could see just how happy my girl was!! Hands down the best care and love, it truly felt like the perfect match the very first moment Ms. Liv met my sweet girl!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
