“I felt totally comfortable leaving my fur baby with Glen. He sent pictures, and she looked very at home. He was familiar with issues related to senior dogs, and she was happy to be there.”

“Marcus was the perfect choice for keeping our senior dog. He was so attentive. He cared for Rex like he would his own dog. He sends pictures and updates frequently. When issues arose, Marcus reached out immediately and asked for guidance and offered assistance. I was able to fully relax and enjoy our family trip knowing that Marcus was keeping Rex exercised, fed and cuddled.”

About: I have been the proud owner of 5 rescue dogs over the past 30 years of my life. During that time I have rescued 4 Siberian Huskies at different times and one Chihuahua, who was abandoned and showed up on my lawn. All my dogs are now deceased and this is the first time I haven't had an animal in 30 years. I am new to Tennessee, so I thought this would be a wonderful way to fill the void. I am so passionate about dogs and I am looking to fill my time by doing something I absolutely love, which is care for dogs. I used to volunteer at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary up in Utah, when I was living in Las Vegas. My relationship with Best Friends was a really great one and as a result, they allowed me to rescue a "Red-Collared" Husky years ago, which meant he was considered "unadoptable" because of his unpredictability. They take adoptions very seriously and made a visit to my home back in Vegas and they saw my commitment to my 2 other dogs at the time and the love I had for my dogs, so they allowed him to come to my home as a foster and then they allowed me to adopt him permanently. I am hoping, as I acclimate to my new life here in Tennessee, Rover will give me an opportunity to become a positive part of this community. I don't know anyone here and feel this would be a wonderful way to meet people, while providing a very important service to those who need a trustworthy, intelligent and loving person to care for their pet, while they are away. Thank you for your consideration. I have a very flexible schedule, which should allow me to be able to work with the needs of any clients you have for me. I do not have any children and I live alone, so my time would be very focused on the needs of the dog. I am open to going to someone's home to walk the dogs and or visit with them. Flexible with overnights, either my home or theirs. Depending on the situation of the dog and what is best for him/her.
“I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care that my two dogs received from Callee. Leaving them in her care was an absolute pleasure. One of my dogs has epilepsy, requiring regular medication, and she handled it with absolute professionalism and care. The regular updates she sent eased my mind while I was away. It was evident that she not only took care of their physical needs but also nurtured their happiness and well-being. I highly recommend Callee to anyone seeking a responsible, caring, and trustworthy sitter. My dogs returned home happy, healthy, and undoubtedly looking forward to their next visit!”

“Brian is amazing. We brought him rowdy who is a puppy and into everything and still learning and Brian sent pics every few hours and we felt so comfortable with him. We hadn't been able to get rowdy to go for a real walk and when we went to pick rowdy up,we got to see Brian and him doing a morning jog. He's truly amazing. If yall want someone reliable, loving, active and that you can trust with your baby let Brian watch them!!! He's great.”

“This is my second time having Robin watch Sadie and she is just absolutely fabulous. She takes Sadie on walks and send photos and videos and it’s just been so kind. On top of that I asked her last night at the last minute if she would keep Sadie overnight and she without hesitation said of course she would love to. I would definitely recommend Robin and I will continue using her without a doubt!!!”

“Rich and family took great care of Denver. Denver is an active lab and they played with him often. They even gave him a bath and clipped his nails. Highly recommend and will request again!”

“Taylor was great with Rocko! She made sure to stay in touch with me while I was out of town. Rocko was shy only because he has never been in anyone else’s care before. But over all I’m glad she was able to take good care of him and hopefully we’ll be back.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Nolensville
It is difficult to explain how loving and kind Jamise was with my dog and myself. Trust me when I say take your pet to her. You will not be disappointed because she goes above and beyond what is required of her. I ran out of dog food and she used her own money to purchase more. The dog food that I purchase is very expensive. So check her she’s the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
