Dogs bring so much joy to my life!

Pet care experience

I have been the proud owner of 5 rescue dogs over the past 30 years of my life. During that time I have rescued 4 Siberian Huskies at different times and one Chihuahua, who was abandoned and showed up on my lawn. All my dogs are now deceased and this is the first time I haven't had an animal in 30 years. I am new to Tennessee, so I thought this would be a wonderful way to fill the void. I am so passionate about dogs and I am looking to fill my time by doing something I absolutely love, which is care for dogs. I used to volunteer at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary up in Utah, when I was living in Las Vegas. My relationship with Best Friends was a really great one and as a result, they allowed me to rescue a "Red-Collared" Husky years ago, which meant he was considered "unadoptable" because of his unpredictability. They take adoptions very seriously and made a visit to my home back in Vegas and they saw my commitment to my 2 other dogs at the time and the love I had for my dogs, so they allowed him to come to my home as a foster and then they allowed me to adopt him permanently. I am hoping, as I acclimate to my new life here in Tennessee, Rover will give me an opportunity to become a positive part of this community. I don't know anyone here and feel this would be a wonderful way to meet people, while providing a very important service to those who need a trustworthy, intelligent and loving person to care for their pet, while they are away. Thank you for your consideration.

Gina is a wonderful person that you can trust with your pets. She has had much experience owning 4 huskies and 1 little sweet Chihuahua that ended up on her front yard. She has rescued all 5 of her pets and gave them forever loving homes. One of the huskies she rescued came from best friends which is an amazing organization that rescues so many pets that Gina was a big part of. She also helped assist her one husky who was diagnosed with cancer when she was a puppy and made sure she got the medical attention she needed and all the love she deserved. Her husky ended up living another 10 wonderful years receiving so much love in those years. She has rescued all of them from unfortunate situations they were put in however, it ended up working out in their favor because they were all given so much love and attention. You can’t think of Gina without thinking of dogs. Her love for animals is unmatched and she is definitely someone you can trust with your furry friends.

I first met Gina on a dog walk in the mountains. I was walking my Boston terrier Roxy, and noticed a woman walking her Huskys and carrying a Chihuahua. I had a feeling this person was perfect to take care of my Roxy. So I began talking with Gina and found out all about her. Gina’s pack began with her first born husky Darien. He could be seen mushing in the snowy mountains for hours a day. Her passion for dogs grew and of course her pack grew with two new Husky rescues, Scarlet and Phantom. What a life! She not only cared for these 3 beautiful breeds, but then I found out she rescued yet another one! TLO ( the little one). Gina had a special carrier to accommodate the needs of the little 8 pound dog. ( Not to mention the wardrobe of clothes, The Devil wears Chihuahua! ) Needless to say, I choose the right dog walker. Gina was always on time and enthusiastic! She was well prepared, with a special dog belt with a water bottle, treats, doggie bag etc. I guarantee when you are away, your dog will be safe, spoiled, and will receive belly rubs and kisses. Rest assure your child is in the best possible care. Liz V

I can’t recommend Gina highly enough as a pet sitter. She is deeply committed to the health, happiness, and overall well-being of every animal she cares for. She was one of the most loving, attentive, and compassionate dog owners I have ever known, and the incredible care she gave her own dogs is something she’ll bring to every pet she looks after. Her love for dogs shines through in everything she does. No matter where she travels, if she sees a dog, she’ll always stop to say hello and chat with the owner, asking about the dog’s personality, breed, and story. Her genuine curiosity and affection for animals are truly heartwarming. When your pet is in her care, you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention she gave her own. I can confidently say your furry family member couldn’t be in better hands!

I’ve known Gina for over 10 years and she LOVES animals. She would make the best sitter as she’s responsible and would treat the animals as if she own it. Over the years Gina’s had three dogs and they lived the most pampered lives thanks to her. Anyone would be lucky to have Gina as their pet sitter.
