“Haley was wonderful and very accommodating. Katsu came back happy. She checked in and gave us updates. We definitely recommend her and would love for her to babysit our clingy Katsu again. Thank you!!!”

“We made plans for a short weekend trip and needed someone to keep our Bella for that time. Kenneth took care of her and we are overall satisfied with his service. He made all the necessary questions during the meet and greet, let us see his place and was very open answering all our questions. Bella came back home worn out after playing and running around his fence yard with the other dogs for two days. The real test will be her reaction when we take her again to Kenneth’s house, but I think she’ll be happy to go. Thank you!”

“Allison did an amazing job taking care of Misha for a week. Allison posted photos ans videos on a daily basis. Misha has had plenty of exercise, and even made friends with Priya, Allison's dog. I would highly recommend Allison!!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Katie! She gave us complete peace of mind while caring for our fur baby, Old Sport, our Pomapoo. We received regular updates and pictures, and Katie was always very communicative throughout the stay. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. We will definitely be using her again for any future needs!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at a time for 10+ years now. Currently we have four dogs and two cats that are very happy I’m working from home, so they rarely have to be alone. Experienced with the extra care required by medically needy dogs and senior dogs, as I helped the Cheatham County shelter with theirs for a few years. Working from home affords me the opportunity to spend nearly 24/7 with either my own pets, or yours! Happy to work with whatever schedule your pets are used to. In my home I have a fenced yard. Will only board one dog at a time, things get a little cramped past that! In your home, I would be working remotely and therefore present for your pets most of the time. I may make a midday run to let my own dogs out, but largely my wife will take over care of our own dogs while I’m looking after yours. I want you to know someone is there taking care of your babies! I send lots of pictures.
“10/10 recommend Amanda! Incredible communication throughout Chief’s entire stay! I felt comfortable and confident he in was in the best hands at drop off / pickup! Will definitely rebook with this sweet family again!”

“Gabriela is so sweet and attentive. She took such great care of my babies. She loves what she does and it's obvious. She kept me updated the while time my babies were with her. I will definitely request her service again.”

“Sherri and Bob love our Grace as much as we do. When we arrive at their house, Grace runs to the door, looking in the window with her tail going a mile a minute with joy! We have never worried about her even while gone for an extended time as we know she will be as well loved and cared for as if we were there. Sherri is great with videos and report cards. You will not regret leaving your precious baby in this loving home!”

“Julia was wonderful. We were in town for a wedding and left our Beagle puppy with Julia. She sent me updates and assured us Betty was having a good time. We were able to enjoy ourselves and not have to worry about our Puppy.”

About: Hi! I’m a high school teacher who teaches culinary arts. At home, I have a golden retriever, Saffron and a Labradoodle, Leo. I live on 2 1/2 acres, one of which is fenced in and perfect for furry friends to run and play! I am a teacher and gone from 7 am to 3:30 pm, but my parents live next door and watch my animals when I am away. Growing up, my brother had a service dog who was part Great Dane and part Black Lab. He became part of the family! I think that’s what started my love for animals. Since college, I’ve had at least one pet. While in Culinary school, I worked long hours. For Christmas, I got my cat, Basil. She was at the door with a “meow” at the end of long days in the kitchen. When I began my career as a culinary teacher, I bought my first house with a back yard and almost immediately added my girls, Sage and Sketch to the household! I work full time as a high school teacher. but live next door to my parents who watch over my pets. They love them as if they were their own! I have an acre, fenced in back yard. My dogs love the country, running and playing in the back yard! They are house dogs, but love the chance to run as much as possible.
“Pam took great care of our dog while we were on vacation! It was evident that he had a great time with how happy and comfortable he looked at pick-up. We would definitely recommend!”

“Kylie did a great job with our 4 month old puppy. It was our first time boarding her for a weekend trip. Kylie sent pictures and videos which showed our dog having a great time. Our dog was happy, clean and with a cleaned blanket. We couldn’t recommend Kylie highly enough.”

“Julianna and Tim were amazing with our two girls. Julianna stayed in constant contact while we were out of town. She shared pics of the girls getting playtime with other dogs and running around her huge back yard. We will definitely reach out to Julianna for our future boarding needs!”

“We enjoyed our experience with Alexus! She was very easy to work with. She communicated regularly with pictures and text during our time away from our Oliver. We felt at ease and reassured by that.😊 We would not hesitate to use her again in the future. Highly reommend!”

“I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care that my two dogs received from Callee. Leaving them in her care was an absolute pleasure. One of my dogs has epilepsy, requiring regular medication, and she handled it with absolute professionalism and care. The regular updates she sent eased my mind while I was away. It was evident that she not only took care of their physical needs but also nurtured their happiness and well-being. I highly recommend Callee to anyone seeking a responsible, caring, and trustworthy sitter. My dogs returned home happy, healthy, and undoubtedly looking forward to their next visit!”

“Amanda is a fantastic sitter! My dog gets so excited when I drop her off, which always makes me feel so much better. She has a fantastic back yard and her two dogs are very friendly.”

“Jessica was Amazing!! She took great care of my Dog while in here care. She was very informative and sent me pictures and updates while I was on my trip. Just a sweet dog lover. Highly recommend her for your fur baby. ❤️”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Murfreesboro
Kenneth was AMAZING with Lady. I have a golden mix and she’s a bit of an anxious girl, so I don’t tend to leave her with anybody and wanted to try it out. The first time that we meetup, Kenneth asked all the necessary questions to help Lady and I with an our process and provided a bunch of pictures and updates!!! Would definitely recommend and book again! Thank you so much Kenneth!!
Our dog is elderly, blind & requires eyedrops twice a day. We didn’t want to leave her home with a sitter just checking in and were nervous to leave her with anyone since she had just gone blind this year. But Shoshanna did a great job with all her special needs. She kept us updated daily which helped us to not worry about how she was doing. We would absolutely recommend Shoshanna and will request her again if we can’t take our dog with us.

We enjoyed our experience with Alexus! She was very easy to work with. She communicated regularly with pictures and text during our time away from our Oliver. We felt at ease and reassured by that.😊 We would not hesitate to use her again in the future. Highly reommend!

Eniya was amazing! She was very accommodating with my last minute booking and was amazing with the updates and communication, she made me feel alot more comfortable and made my pet feel comfortable and right at home I definitely think I found a consistent sitter for Shenzi!!

Madeline was great! One of our dogs is weird with new people so we asked if we could meet up with her before their stay. She was super willing & we got to ask a bunch of questions, plus give her some information beforehand. This was our first time using Rover & she made it seamless. She sent us lots of pictures & gave us updates daily! Will definitely be using her again. Thank you!

Abigail is amazing! She has watched my dog several times over the last year. Finding someone I trusted to watch my Great Dane was challenging but once I found Abigail I knew she was in good hands. She is a dog trainer which is an added bonus because she was already familiar with the training system I had for my dog, such a relief not having to explain how she was trained etc. She always sends me pictures and even clips her nails during her stay! Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
