“Allison did a fine job with our dog. She is a decent sized dog, about 80 pounds. But she is often rather timid around strangers. We just needed one night and it worked out fine.”

“Shannon and Barbara took wonderful care of my dog, Bunny. I could not be more grateful and impressed. They had wonderful response times and answered any questions I had since it was my first time leaving Bunny with someone outside of family. They updated me frequently and made this whole process a dream. Definitely planning on rebooting with them in the future!”

“This was our first time ever boarding our dog. Hayley was super friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable in leaving our dog. He was definitely worn out when we picked him up. We wanted to get him socialized with other dogs and children and Hayley made that possible. We have already booked her for our next vacation. Bandit was a happy and tired boy.”

“Pamela was great! Very responsive, accommodating, and took excellent care of Frankie for the entire week he was with her. Will definitely reach out to her again in the future when we need a sitter.”

“This was my first time boarding my puppy and I‘m pretty sure she didn’t want to leave Brandon’s house when I came to pick her up. She had tons of playtime and I was so happy to hear she settled in well with the pack and made friends! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing she was in good hands.”

“Loved Michelle! She was very caring and accommodating to our pups and our schedule, Which I had to change but she was very patient. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Erid and Cheryl are Angels. My little one really enjoyed his stay. I can not thank you both enough for taking such great care of him and showing him all the love and extra care. You all are not just great dog caretakers, but great people and I will definitely be back again!”

“This was my first time leaving my pup Tony with someone! I went through all the “nervous dad” feelings, but the moment I got that first picture of my boy from Michelle i IMMEDIATELY felt better. Michelle and Bryce were so good at keeping him busy- it seemed like playtime was all day! They treated Tony like he was their own, and I’m so greatful! I wish I could book myself a vacation at Michelle and Bryce’s home!”

“Dianne was great with my dog Tahoe! She was always super responsive and sending regular updates or photos of him. I could tell Tahoe felt very at home and safe with her which was a huge relief to me while I was away for the week! Would absolutely reach out to Dianne again the next time Tahoe needs a sitter!”

“I will never leave my dog with anyone else. Cyndie & her family treated my dog like their own. Cyndie kept me updated with pics and how Rocky’s day was going. I’m truly grateful for her and her family. Look no further for a pet sitter! Cyndie will always be my go to when I go out of town.”

“Jen surpassed my expectations! I was immediately out at ease each day that I was away with happy dog pics and videos of my dog having a wonderful boarding experience with Jen. I am used to picking up an anxious dog after my usual boarding trips, but when I arrived to pick up my dog from Jen, she was so calm and didn’t seem like she wanted to leave. A testament to the great care and fun attention she received during her stay! I will continue to use Jen in the future. She has my highest recommendation!”

“Our dog, Max, loved his stay with Scott! He was really happy to see us, but I could tell how relaxed and happy he was when we picked him up. We were on a ship for most of the time away and didn't have any cell service. When we reached a port, all the daily pics and messages would come and I could tell Max was enjoying himself a lot! He had a lot of doggy companions to play with and send to have bonded with Scott and his son❤️ Thank you, we will definitely use Scott again!”

“Dominic is the absolute best! This was my first time using Rover and it was a great experience. Dominic sent regular updates, went above and beyond and most of all my baby Chewy was very happy! Thanks for the awesome care…I will be a regular customer.”

“We were so happy with the care provided by Rob & Kat. Our little dog can be high maintenance & they were patient, caring and so conscientious. I highly recommend them for pet sitting!”

“Brook was amazing!! He made my pup feel right at home ! My dog is pooped from all of the fun he had! He kept me updated with photos and checked in periodically with updates and made me feel more comfortable with my dogs stay! I plan on returning soon !”

Alison has been named Taz's godmom! She is an outstanding dog sitter. I know that my Taz is being loved when he is at Allison's. She usually has more than one dog there, and I think Taz likes hanging around with his friends. She has a nice big backyard. Frankly, I can't say enough good things about Allison.

Kelly is absolutely amazing. She always goes above and beyond to provide the best care for our pups. She also is great at keeping us updated on how our dogs are doing while we are away. Kelly is extremely flexible and understanding of unexpected travel delays. I will book time and time again! ❤️❤️

Molly was the most amazing sitter! She was so attentive to my old baby boy and a great communicator! Being an older dog mom, I’m always apprehensive about leaving Trooper for long periods of time because he’s very attached to me and needs more TLC than most dogs. Molly was very accommodating and patient with him until he adjusted. I highly recommend her!!!

Sean is a beautiful lifesaver with a soul that knows pups! We were in a situation that I don’t wish on any pup owner where we were frantic to find someone to keep our border collie last minute after our plan fell through. Sean is kind and patient with all babes and I’d trust him with any furry!

Michelle provided such a nice family/home atmosphere for my 2 little dogs who stayed with her for a few days. They were a little scared at first but Michelle helped them settle in nicely and kept me regularly updated with updates and photos. My dogs even slept in her bed along with her little dog! It was very reassuring to know that my dogs were in a safe loving environment.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
